According to <https://windowsonarm.org/26a238b5-5ea8-41d2-b2a1-b42250aca451> Acrobat runs on Windows ARM with Prism-emulator. Prism-emulator is included in Windows11 24H2 and newer. Having 2 Microsoft Surface Pro (11. Edition) with Snapdragon X-processor with Windows ARM 24H2. Download and install Creative Cloud-App. But running CC-App --> CC-App crashes. In "Creative Cloud.exe" property-window | Compatibility-tab | "Windows on ARM" | "Change emulation settings"-button is greyed out and cannot be activated.  How can I install and run Acrobat? Is there a tutorial available?

I am unable to scan into Adobe Acrobat Version 2020 with this multifunction unit. The error is involving the incorrect colour mode. It's not clear how to set the colour mode on the device either.  It does scan into Apple Preview no problem though. What are some tricks I can look into trying out to get the colour mode to match? 

I needed to send out to 100 people to sign something, and I JUST got adobe acrobat pro (currently on free trial but planning on actually using it) For some reason while I'm trying to send the 2nd batch, I am stuck on processing forever and it never actually gets to prepare the document? I cleared out the duplicates there were but it still doesn't go - I don't know what else it could possibly be.I need help please!

The other day I was looking at an article an I was offered a tool that helped me to understand the article better offering different breakdown of the article, keyword definitions and offered explanations of questions from 3 different perspectives: 1) from an analyst point of view; 2) an entertainer's point of view, 3) an instructor's point of view. What is this tool called and how do I access it again for subsequent articles?

One problem I keep running into is when combining multiple PDFs or compressing large files, the final document either loses image quality or the file size doesn’t reduce much. I tried tweaking the settings, reducing image DPI, and using the “Reduce File Size” tool, but still not satisfied with the results. For people in similar situations, I found that using optimized PDF versions created via online tools helps — it gives a more balanced result between size and quality. On my website, I built a tool that helps calculate end-of-service/gratuity in the UAE by also providing downloadable PDFs — having properly sized and compressed PDF files there makes the experience better. Would love to hear from anyone who’s solved the PDF quality vs. size trade-off well in Acrobat: which settings or workflow you ended up using?

I need to redact many documents for a divorce case and must keep the last four digits of each account number. When I search for the portion to redact, the tool selects the entire number.Example: Number to redact: 987654321I search for 98765, but the result highlights 987654321 instead of just 98765.The “Find Text and Redact” feature would be ideal if it selected only the exact text searched.

I have a Creative Cloud Pro subscription, which includes Acrobat Pro. Has something changed in the last few weeks? Now when I launch Acrobat, it only opens Acrobat Reader. I've tried using the web interface, which is the only place where I can find editing tools but it's a pain as I have to upload my PDF, make edits and then download it again to my computer. When I go to the Creative Cloud apps site or my subscription area, it does not have an option to download Acrobat Pro, only the Acrobat Reader or a mobile app Adobe Scan. I want to work on my files on a desktop computer.

Whenever I download a PDF onto my computer, Adobe Acrobat automatically opens it. The "show downloads once they're done" setting on Chrome is off. Also, Acrobat isn't even my deafult pdf viewer. When I open a PDF manually, it opens on Edge (as it should), so it's not something with Chrome. I attatched a screenshot of my download settings and my deafult PDF settings.

We are a subscribed user of Adobe Acrobat Pro. However, we are experiencing a critical issue. Whenever we open any PDF file, the program automatically makes hidden background modifications—without displaying any indication of what changes were made. When closing the file, Acrobat asks whether we want to save the changes, even though we did not make any edits. We have searched extensively online for solutions and found only the option to disable Automatic OCR. Despite disabling this feature, the problem persists, and Acrobat continues to perform unknown modifications as soon as a file is opened. This is extremely disruptive to our workflow, and we require an immediate solution. The software is updated to the latest version, yet the issue persists.Please advise on how to fully stop any automatic background edits when opening PDF files.

Hi,I have a PDF file of size 56.4 MB stored locally on MacBook's storage. The file has 12,697 pages which is all text. When I try to convert this PDF file to Excel, the Acrobat application simply hangs with no error messages. And at this point, I'm clueless what is going wrong, and how to fix this. I checked and my MacBook's memory usage is high, but less than the total memory of 16GB. Can help and guidance is much helpful?Peace!

I have Acrobat Professional DC 2015 with activation code and serial number. It was setup using an email that is not accessible to me anymore. I would like to move the installation to a WIN11 PC as WIN10 is no longer supported. How do I move the software to my new PC?

Since yesterday, I’ve been trying to combine or delete files, but the orders have failed to be completed and have given error messages. I’m not sure why this is happening, and I would really appreciate any help you can provide.

Recently ,for some reason my Acrobat Pro has become super slow and fails to open PDF's regularly. I know there are add-ins I dont tneed but am unsure which to disable. I have to try multiple times to open a file. Nothing opens. Then I have to go to Task Manager and "end task" for sometimes 5 or more Adobe's. Then just maybe it will open if I try again. This is awful and embarrassing.  Especially during a Teams or Zoom when I need to open a file. See pic.Maybe its time to look elsewhere for PDF management.  

I am using the most up to date version of Adobe Acrobat Pro and all of the tools have disappeared from the 'All tools' side panel, I am left with 'AI Assistant' & 'Generative summary'. I can't seem to find a way of even getting to all tools from inside a document let alone of being able to add them back to the side panel. If anyone is having a similar problem or knows of a solution please help!

I have uninstalled and reinstalled ACROBAT PRO from Creative Cloud three times in the past week trying to get the ALL TOOLS function to work as it is supposed to (I am in the USA).  After I reinstall, Acrobat starts up with "English with Arabic supports" and when I try to add notes/comments, they are typing in Arabic.  The ALL TOOLS panel is properly populated with the set of tools.  In order to get actual ENGLISH as the language, I have to go into PREFERENCES and select "Choose language at startup" for the language, then close Acrobat and reopen.  Upon reopening, I select "ENGLISH" only as the language, and when I do this, the ALL TOOLS panel reverts to a list of three useless items: "Create a PDF Space", "AI Assistant", and "Generative Summary".  I don't want any of these things, I need the Forms Design, Editing, and all other standard TOOLS.  I can add them to the floating toolbar, but I don't want to have to do that.   What is going on w

Hello, when I open any PDF file, a tab appears at the bottom of the Windows taskbar. However, when I drag the document to the second monitor, a ghost tab appears next to the original tab – see image. When I drag the document back to the first monitor, this second tab is also dragged. This second tab cannot be clicked. It is a dead, ghost tab. This started happening when I switched from Windows 10 to Windows 11. I have the latest version of Adobe. Windows is up to date. Thank you for your help.

Bonjour,Pour une raison encore inconnue j’ai perdu la suite Microsoft. Le temps d’essayer de comprendre, puis de racheter une version, soit une semaine, j’ai constaté que tous mes fichier word (autour de 1000) ont été convertis en fichier Acrobat, ce que l’on constate a partir de l’explorer c’est qu’il n’existe plus de fichier word à lancer, même si j’utilise  MS Word pour créer un nouveau document. Il est tout fois possible, fichier après fichier de choisir une ouverture par MS Word au lieu d’Acrobat par défaut. Si on lance un fichier marqué PDF on tombe dans un processus qui vous oblige à une conversion, sans intérêt. Je n’ai trouvé aucune fonction dans Acrobat pour empêcher Acrobat de prendre le contrôle des tous les fichiers Microsoft. Je ne vois plus d’autre solution que de désinstaller Acrobat et de m’éloigner définitivement de la suite Adobe qui agit comme un pirate par rapport aux autres plateformes.Auriez vous une autre solution ?Par avance merci.

I am doing pdf/ua accessibility work, most issues I can resolve with ABBYY Finereader OCR Editor and Adobe Acrobat Pro 2020. I use PAC 2021, and it flags internal links as "alternative description missing for an annotation." Regular links I can create a content entry through preflight, but there appears to be no similar option for internal links in Pro 2020. I have figured out I can manually do the alt text descriptions, but seeing as my documents have 100+ annotations, I'm not inclined to spend an hour working on one document that should take 5 minutes. So I'm wondering if I simply need to update my software, working with PAC 2021 and Pro 2020, I don't know if there's options for internal links in more recent softwares or not. I did notice that DC has plugins and that could help, but I'm an amateur when it comes to this stuff, so help would be appreciated.

On an Acrobat form, is it possible to create a toggle switch that looks (and behaves) like toggle switches in IOS? I tried created a button with an icon, but how do I change the "state" appearance according to the action? Trying to replace radio button groups with this option due to lack of space...  Thank you!
