I’ve gone into great detail to ensure that all fonts everywhere are coded for the correct color. Never had a situation like this before. No matter what I do, fonts are goofball. Like this: 

I deleted the assets folder on the author/contents page. All my pictures were removed that I added to the project. Is there a way to bring the folder back and add all my pictures back to where they should be? Restore the folder?

I renamed the project, in FrameMaker and changed the title in Project Settings.  I believe I have correctly modified presets.The old title continues to display, while everything else looks good.A string search shows this title in the generated toc.new.js file in the whxdata folder, but I can’t figure out where it is coming from.  I deleted the !SSL! folder and recreated - still no change.  Where can it be coming from?Thank you,Barbara 

How do I customize the Studio Frameless Output Skin in RoboHelp 2022 so the right panel can be expanded after 175% zoom?  When zoom is higher than 175% the right panel is automatically hidden.  This occurs so the body of the online help has more space at higher zoom levels.  The skin provides an option to expand the left panel; however, there is no way for a user to expand the right panel to set a topic as a Favorite. The Favorite tab can be expanded, but it only shows topics already set as a Favorite.  The fav-button is not available, so users that require higher zoom levels are not able to save topics as a favorite.  Note: Because the right panel cannot be expanded, the Mini TOC is also hidden. 

Hi All,in Robohelp version 2026.3.13, some things seem to be no longer working correctly with Content Filters, Condition Expressions and Merged Help.I tested with the sample project Compass Travel, output preset "Compass Travel Red Green Skin".Expectation as defined on Peter's site and as it worked before: active content filter shows either topics that are untagged or have the respective condition tag applied.1. Display of topics without condition tag- The topic "Exploring Ancient Maya of Honduras" has no condition tag- it is stored in the folder "Leisure Travel" which has the tag "leisure" assigned in the TOC- all topics in the folder "Human Resources" do not have a condition tag and also the folder does not have a condition tag assigned in the TOC--> with active filter "Corporate", the folder "Leisure Travel" is not displayed and thus also not the topic "Exploring Ancient Maya of Honduras" --> incorrect behavior, the untagged topic should still be displayed.--> the topic can

HiI'm trying to style text that triggers popups differently to text that triggers links (a dotted underline rather than the standard solid underline). The RH styles UI doesn't appear to give this option, so I've tried adding the following to the code:<a href="myfile.htm"><span style="text-decoration-style: dotted;">Users</span></a>Alas, the <a> style unexpectedly overrides the embedded <span> and the underline remains as a solid line.Have I flubbed the coding ? Is this a deficiency in RH? Are there other tricks you can share?TIAGeoffrey

I'm using RoboHelp 9 (I know...very old...not my decision) at my company, and I have this annoying problem. When I use Source (HTML) view for a help topic, and I start typing or use the arrow keys, the blinking cursor disappears. If I click the screen again, the cursor reappears, but as soon as I start typing it goes away. I fixed this years ago (don't remember how), but I had to reinstall RoboHelp and the issue is back. I could swear it had something to do with workspace settings, but I can't figure it out. I also searched using Google, Google AI, and Peter Grange's site, but there's no info. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I am converting projects from RoboHelp 2017 to RH2022, using the "Upgrade RoboHelp Classic Project" option. In one project, the error "Upgrade project failed" appears, and when I click "View log," I get an empty screen.I found a similar problem described on the Adobe website, but its answer didn’t seem relevant to my situation.Now what? 

As noted in my question, screenshots have disappeared from my online output of RH2017 (Webhelp), as well as some topics. Upgraded to 2026.03.13 yesterday to see if it fixed previous issues.Failing to hide conditioned text: FixedExact search retuning double results: Not fixedThis morning in the process of publishing a help file I found a new issue that I have confirmed in 3 different documents on two different projects that was not an issue before 2026.03.13.The issue is this: I am getting an extra page at the end of my PDF documents. It is a blank page formatted using the common layout.It appears after my back matter.I have deleted my backmatter and it was still there. I deleted all the articles and it was still there. Even with the only thing in my document being my TOC in my front matter, I have a blank page added to the end of the document that is formatted using common layout.Here is what the extra page looks like: Here is the TOC for that and you can see there are no common pages included. I had a project created using RH2019 classic version similar to webhelp, and have migrated it to the 2022 version, but have not been able to create an output similar to 2019 version. What is the best way be which I can replicate the RH2019 output screen profile in RH2022 so that my output folder packages remains the same.Also I'm unable to find the show hide toc navigation bar which was previously present. How do I customize the preset so that my functionalities remains same as the older version. Also, is there a plan to introduce the older webhelp traditional skin output preset in the upcoming releases of Adobe Robohelp 2022. 

Please note that in 2026.01 the logic of AND/OR in Condition Expressions has been reversed. The issue is described in this post. You can either amend all your expressions or wait for an update that Adobe are working on.Also note that a minitoc in the right panel of a frameless skin will work locally but not in a published output on a server. Hi All,I am just testing the most current version 2026.03.13It seems, that an empty page is added at the end of PDF creation. This happens with my project as well as with the sample project About Robohelp. I couldn’t find any setting that would cause this. Any ideas? Can anyone confirm this behavior?Best regardsKarin

Upon updating to Adobe Robohelp 2026.01.11 version, the system is no longer applying my conditional build expressions. The condition tags still exist in the project. They still show up in the UI’s author view.  If I use the UI’s Output view and look at the output presets, I can still see the condition expressions. Everything looks as expected.If I use the UI’s preview mode and select either condition tags or condition expressions and then select appropriate options for either selection, the system no longer displays the expected content.If I generate the output (and this is where I noticed the issue), my output includes ALL content, not observing any condition tags.Is anyone else experiencing this?Is there a way for me to roll back this update? I need to publish updates, but I can’t if I am publishing everything when I need to be generating six different versions of the online help.

Is anyone else having issues with snippets in the 2026.01 update?The first instance of any snippet I add to a topic appears normally, but if I add a second instance of that same snippet anywhere within the topic, it displays as an empty blue box in the topic and is not included at all in the output.If I add a second instance of a snippet somewhere in a topic before the original one that displayed fine, the new snippet now displays okay, but the one that used to work (but is now further down in the topic than the new one) disappears. 

Version 2020.8.34Nous voulons traduire notre projet en anglais, et nous avons créé le fichier de traduction, exporté la notice en fichiers .XLF et envoyé à un traducteur. Mais lorsque nous voulons réimporter, les fichiers .XLF ne sont pas reconnus/détectés par RH, même si on ajoute le fichier de mappage. Nous avons essayé de recréer le fichier de traduction, ça ne marche pas plus. 

Hello,We are working on upgrading to RH2022 from RH2020. We have 50+ outputs, mostly PDFs, to generate from each of three projects, and a few from a fourth project. We have been using TCCLE to run the generation bat file, but unfortunately, this is not working with the newest version of RoboHelp, 2022.5. They don’t seem to work together.I have seen references here to larger projects with greater numbers of outputs and I am hoping someone may have some suggestions for a scripting vehicle(?) that will help us get RH2022 to generate all my outputs reliably. I appreciate any suggestions and feedback that you are willing to share.Thank you.

Frameless Right panel Mini TOC is working in projects that I haven’t migrated yet to the new version, but every single plan including the About RoboHelp Sample project that I have published on our server are throwing the 404 not found error. 

How do I customize the knowledge base output preset (RoboHelp 2022), so that the TOC for my project appears like the left menu pane of the image attached below, that will help me in easy access for moving from one topic to another. 

hello, i have challenge, nearly completed.I migrated a merged CHM project to merged frameless (with insistance of Peter :-))Everything is OK. happybutis true there is no tool in Robohelp to replace an external link to a chm to a project/contents/pagename.htm?I had to work around using a powershell script. and our IT guy’s didn’t trust my intensions. a lot  of safety barriers (signed is not possible). But I managed with a work around.so all htm files containing an external reference to a chm file have been modified. replacingnameProject.chm://topicname.htmreplaced byRhpj:nameproject/contents/topicname.htmAnd here is my question. those htm’s are all modified externally.I opened up my subprojects and compiled to frameless output. I get a warning list on all modified htm files: warning : Skipped copying external file "C:/RH/613/nl/output/mergedProjects/Gebruikerstabellen/Gebruikerstabellen.htm"it’s warning. Hi everybody, I am creating a new webhelp with Robohelp 2022.6.34 for an online database but i am using PDF output too during trainings. I created some topics, generating web ouput and everything fine (until now) but when i tried PDF output, i realize every topic name do not appear.In the topic layout (“disposition de rubrique” in french screenshot), title is displayed thanks to a field :<body>  <div data-region="header">    <h1><span data-field="title">rubrique</span></h1>  </div>That’s the green title in left part of the screenshot. In the frameless output, the title appears (“Description de l’état” in black in the middle of screenshot) But in the PDF output, the title is missing (where is the red arrow), in the topic and in the TOC too. I tried many settings and searched the Internet but found nothing to help. Do any of you have an idea? Thank you.
