Hi everyone, I'm working on a sequence that contains a few clips horizontally and vertically flipped and played in reverse. Considering that when I play the sequence it lags a lot, I tried to use the "Render and Replace" function on the clips concerned, but every time Adobe Premiere gives me this error: "Transcode Failure: Unable to Match Video Aspect". It gives the same error even when I try to apply "Render and Replace" to a clip just imported in the timeline and without any effect. Does anyone have an idea of what might be causing the error?Thank you very much. Bye.

Hello!Once again, I have a more or less weird effect: an address on the last page of a PDF exported by Indesign results in an odd display in Acrobat, but only in one document of many that use the same last page design.Correct PDF result: Weird PDF result:The text in those boxes is identical, all with identical format settings. I even copied the affected text box from the working document to the one where the crap comes out and put it in the same position. Of course, I use the same PDF export dialog and settings. No matter what I tried, it always comes out as such. No clue, what happens here and why. Thanks for any idea. Addition: going into edit mode in Acrobat reveals something.Working PDF:Crap PDF:

Hi I got my first book printed perfect bound and realise now as a newbie that I need to have a wider inside margin to make it easier for people to read. It was ok and readable but could be better. In the original, I used the same margin size of 0.3937 for top, bottom, inside & outside margins. The screenshot below shows how I have reset it: inside margin 1 inch, outside: 0.375 in. Top & bottom remain 0.3937 in. Does it look about right or any tips? The document page size is A4 (8.2677 in x 11.6929 in). Also, is there a way to automate moving the content to fit within the new margins (text and photos)? I expect not but thought I'd ask.   Also, the bottom line of the dotted page number box is now sitting exactly on the bottom margin. Will that cause any problems or will it print ok?

Hello.I have a short film teaser I want to film, and in one of the scenes, a girl speaks directly to the camera while images appear on wall right beside her, as if coming from a movie projector. What techniques do I use to achieve this effect, being sort of a beginner in After Effects (who is willing to learn much more)?I've tried looking for an answer for my specific question and I couldn't find it. Thanks in advance,J. Felipe.

I'm getting a warning when launching AE regarding MediaCore.  It's asking me to reinstall the following two plugins... NotchLCPremierePlugin.bundleNotchLCAfterEffectsPlugin.bundle After closing that window, another error message appears stating "Couldn't find main entry point for NotchLCAfterEffectsPlugin.bundle ( 48 :: 72 )".  I uninstalled/reinstalled AE, but this didn't fix the issue.  A month ago I tried to install an old copy of Film Impact plugins for PPro, but my old copy no longer works so I had to remove that.  I feel that might have caused this issue.  I'm not sure how to go about reinstalling these MediaCore plugins.  If anyone has any ideas I would really apreciate it.  Thank you!  Pics attached for reference.

The pdf text recognition function is abnormal. Slowly and automatically exits during the conversion process, and a message indicating that the conversion fails is displayed.

Hi There... I have importet Code 39 Extended Charset to build Barcodes. When I am using .csv file as datacource some charecters are showing up "incorrect" in Indesign.- The csv file has all the charectors showing correctly, and when you are adding the datasource the small preview it gives you before actualling loading data is also correct. But the minuttet is displaying the bar code its showing some charectors with a wrong encoding(?).I believe this has something to do with charect encoding for my 'textbox' in Indesign. Its very easy to reproduce the problem:Here is what I found : If I type a $ in Ms word with the Code 39 Ext charector set and then in a textbox in Indesign type a $  is it showing differently...It simply 2 different BAR CODES that is displaying..And if I change the font to something human readable it is showing a $ as expected..its allmost as this a diffent font - but it is not...  This is making my skanner fail to read barcodes "genere

Hi, I am trying out calculations in Acrobat Pro and I am running into an issue with a calculated field that seems to have the correct value but is displaying the value from another calculated field.  I say it seems to have the correct value because when I click into the field, it shows the value I expect and calculations that are dependant on that field seem to be calculating correctly.  The save_fort_con field in the attached pdf is showing 3 when it should be showing 1 as it is a direct  reference to the att_con field. It seems to be displaying what is in the save_will_wis field which is coming from att_wis. There shouldn't be any issue with calculation order as these are completely different sources of  data. I have been copy/pasting calculated fields to save a lot of effort on this complex form but maybe that is not good practice? I don't see how that could be the problem but it's possible.  Any help would be appreciated.

Hi all, For the past 4-5 years, I have been using a personal e-signature. A couple of weeks ago, that signature was suddenly no longer available and instead I am forced to use a stylised version of my name as signature, but I prefer continuing using my own signature. Does anyone know how I can get it back? If so, please advise. Thanks,JD

Hi everyone,More than ten years ago, I wrote this little utility (likely circa PS CS5.5) that would help users to identify the maximum printable size regarding viewer distance. It was yet a bit empiric.I am tempted to recreate this tool in the new UXP Plugin ecosystem but would enjoy your testimonials. Eventually, the new version would better fit your actual needs. And possibly lay on more scientific rules. If anyone is interested in sharing his/her thoughts on this, it would be greatly appreciated (features expected…)TIALoic

Hi everyone! I have a quick question about the limitations of a photo blow-up for a poster. I can't share screenshots since the content is proprietary, but I will do my best to describe: 1. Boss wants an 5.5" x 8.5" photo to be blown up for a poster that is at least 30" on one sideThe specs for the file I was given are: 1650 px x 2550 px (5.5" x 8.5"), Resolution is 300 and file size is 12M 2. I didn't think that would work because that's over double the size of the original so my assumption would be that the image would start to pixelate. 3. In Photoshop, I resized the image to be 30" on the long side and the new specs are:Image size: 200MWidth: 12.413"Height: 30"Resolution 300 4. The image looks great when I open it and the resolution seems optimal based on that image size box. My question is: would this actually print correctly if we send it to the printer? How is that resolution staying so stable and why is there no pixelation if it has been blown up to ove

I would like to report an issue encountered with Acrobat Reader on iPadOS 18, in the single page view with horizontal scrolling. If you try to quickly scroll through multiple pages of a .pdf in quick succession, you will not get the desired result, as you will move within the document always by one page. In other words, when you scroll to go to the next page, you always have to wait until the end of the transition on that page before you can scroll again to reach the still next one; otherwise, the transition effect always starts again on the same page, thus preventing you from moving quickly. I have encountered this problem precisely on IPadOS 18, but not on the same version of Acrobat on iPadOS 17, so I guess it is some kind of incompatibility. Also, the described fact occurs only in the horizontal scrolling view, while everything is fine with vertical scrolling.
