Solved

I'm new to Acrobat DC and am used to working with individual PDFs. I've got DC setup to NOT do tabbed management of multiple open files. How do I now stop it from reverting to a "Home Screen" showing recent files when I close the last open PDF?   I think, that when I close the last open PDF, Acrobat should just go away/die.

I have assigned names to various persons and the persons view now shows all named persons. How do I chnage the photo that is shown as the key photo for a named person/face? LrC15.6 on Win11

How can I create a library of music I’ve selected in Premiere that opens with every project—similar to the "Power Bin" in DaVinci Resolve? The Power Bin is really cool; you can see waveforms for every track or sound clip, and it loads automatically in every project. Not to mention that you can tag frequently used songs to find them quickly, add markers, and color-code clips. I’m wondering if there’s a way to do this in Adobe Premiere, or if maybe I’m just missing a feature. Thanks!

Please AI help us with one of the nastiest things in Photoshop history, the naming and sorting of layers in groups. One click and AI sorts and renames layers by its look. Doesn´t have to be perfect and a undo function should be available. But could help a lot. And/or V2: I can prompt a set of rules how to clean up my mess. (All buttons in group etc)

Today, I wanted to horizontally move an object, and I thought of using item.move()I am on the new version of https://www.indesignjs.de/indesignapi/indesignI've been looking for a long time, but I can't figure out which one it is.I still feel more comfortable with the old version.Later, I found item.move(undefined, [-x, 0]); in someone else's example. I'm curious about the purpose of undefined.

How do I get my stacks back?

Can anyone explain to me why Adobe Photoshop Express was suddenly installed on my machine? installed the newest windows update and after turning on  it installed and this was without my prompt or permission. I saw PSExpressBroker.exe and PSExpressCore.exe running in Task Manager. File Explorer showed many adobe files created at the exact time of the PC boot! I don't use or have Adobe on my PC . Or I didn't. There are no Adobe entries in MS Program and Features, so no entry to uninstall, but plenty of files in Program Files, and a handful in Program Data. I want this off my pc and want to now how as it has been installed without me selecting to install it or asking for my permission. My pc speed has gone through the floor because of all these programs running in the background...

I've seen a few older threads on this, but none of those solutions are working for me so I figured I'd post. My Adobe Digital Editions (4.5) will no longer open on my work laptop running (Windows 10 Pro). Solutions I've tried from other threads:-Uninstalling/reinstalling -Running as administrator-Renaming the My Digital Editions Folder-Deleting the My Digital Editions Folder-Installing the program to Program Files instead of Program Files (x86)-Renaming/creating a new folder within Program Files to install to-Downloading an older edition (I could not find a non-sketchy link to 3.0, but I found a 4.0 and had no better luck with it) When I click the icon, it literally does nothing. Not even an error or opening a blank screen. It does not show that the program is running (I'd seen some people suggest their problem was that the app was open but running in a disconnected second monitor screen. I've never connected this laptop to a second monitor, but task manager doesn't show

Draw free-form bottom is not working What should I do?

I have Adobe Acrobat Pro - I highlighted a PDF document using the drawing tool.  I would create a rectangle around the language I wanted to highlight, and a tool bar would appear above that had the change color tool and I selected fill, color, and used the opacity meter.  My question is - when I went to highlight another section, the change color tool disappeared.  I eventually decided to just close Drawing Tool and then re-open it again and the change color tool was there again.  I was wondering if there was easier way to do this vs opening / closing the drawing app over and over again.  Thank you

Hi, I’m having a problem with the highlight function on my tablet. When in landscape mode, the toolbar appears vertically on the left side, and when I want to change the highlight color, it doesn't show me the color options—only the one currently displayed.

I just want to know how to change my login name when I add Comment "balloons."

My highlighter tool in Acrobat Pro DC stopped working! Can anyone help me? I press the highlighter icon on top of my screen, highlight my text, and then nothing happens. If I click the area that I tried to highlight this blue box/border shows up - but nothing is highlighted. First screenshot is my text as I'm highlighting it - Second screenshot is after I "highlighted" it, but nothing happenedThird screenshot is when I click on the area that I had "highlighted", this annoying blue box appears. Please help!

Adobe still has this probelm in 2025

We recently upgraded to Adobe Acrobat Standard XI.Our users take system generated PDFs and customize them by adding additional text and images. They generally always use specific font formatting options when adding their text.Unfortunately, we haven't been able to figure out a way to set the default font formatting options when using the "Add Text" Content Editing Tool. You are always stuck with the Minion Pro font at 12 point. Therefore, each time the user adds new text, they must select the text that they just added, and then change the font formatting options from within the Content Editing tools pane. It would be really useful to be able to set the default font formatting options once and all new text added would use those settings.

A constant issue at my workplace is that many PDF documents need to be signed by more than one party.  We are always jumping through hoops printing and signing in ink and re-scanning.  It would be nice if there was a simple yes/no selection when signing to choose if the document should become read-only after signing, or remain unprotected to allow other signatures.

I would like to add comments on a PDF for team use and proofing. When the PDF is final, I would like the option to delete all comments on all pages and save as a final version for client, without the client seeing any of the comments.

Hey Everyone,Would someone please explain to me the MOST REALISTIC way to remove the camouflage pattern from this dress? I don't care how meticulous and time-consuming the process will take! I want it to look like the camouflage pattern disappeared from the dress.  THANK YOU FOR YOUR HELP!!!!

Hello, We have trouble with activation our older Adobe Acrobat Standard 2017 and 2020 and Professional 2020. We were just reinstalling all comuters in company and we could'n deactivate licences before. We found only the 2017 Pro version in some account admin@xxxx.cz, but there in list of activated devices (it is empty). And for the 2nd one we have only printscreen with serial number from date, we bought that licences from Adobe website. Can you please, deactivate somehow these licence for use on reinstalled computers again? Thank you.Martin.

I’m testing how to send documents via Shared Reviews using Adobe Acrobat on the web.The process seems to be the same as the desktop version except that we have lost the stamp feature:Click the attachment in your email message to open the document. Add/post a comment. Add your Reviewed or Approved stamp.Based on the Community posts, it seems that the stamp feature is not available on the web.If this is true, is e-signature considered the replacement for the stamp feature? If so, can anyone provide clear instructions on how to set up this feature please? I’ve read  the online documentation but it doesn’t seem to mirror what I’m seeing in my version of Adobe Acrobat Home. I would really like to keep my process very simple for my reviewers and the less changes I have to push on them, the better. Also: I don’t think returning to the desktop version is going to help. In a previous post, I mentioned that our Shared Review process using the desktop version “broke” when we upgraded to the latest

I canceled my Adobe subscription before the 7 days and I still got charged
