Hi,I have two stay anchor points with handles like this:I just want to join both of them by preserving their handles, so that the result would look like this:Is there any way to achieve this?P.S: I don't have much idea about illustrator as I'm new to it. Any help is highly appreciated. Thanks.

I have a problem with a certain font, Geomanist Regular. I saved a document in which it was used and after opening it again later on suddenly the text in that font is highlighted in pink... while the font really is there! If I create a new document and use that same font all is fine. See attached screenshot. On the left is the document in which the font simply won't work and on the right is a document in which is clearly does work. On the left I also open the font screen and there you can also see the font really is there. If I copy the text frame on the right to the document on the left it also suddenly becomes pink. So clearly ONLY this particular document won't see or load the font, even though I can use it well in another document that's opened at the same time! So... why is the font highlighted in pink?! I also can't export the page as pdf due to this.

Company purchased Acrobat 2020 tool, I've installed it and after logging in I'm constantly getting a message - "Sorry something went wrong - Please try launching Acrobat first..."

Virtually every time I initiate a Word-to-PDF conversion from within Word, I get this error message. I have had CC since its inception, and I have had Acrobat Professional licenses going back to about version 4,5, or 6.I have signed in and out of CC more times that I can possibly remember. I have uninstalled and reinstalled Acrobat more times than I care to admit. Yet this keeps happening, practically on a daily basis. What is going on? How do I fix this? Am I the only one with this problem?

Hello all,We were running on Update 11, and have a scheduled task that uses certificate file to connect. Before update it was working fine. Now after update we are getting this: ErrorCode82ErrorTextAlgorithm negotiation fail: algorithmName="cipher.c2s" jschProposal="aes128-ctr,aes192-ctr,aes256-ctr,aes128-gcm@openssh.com,aes256-gcm@openssh.com" serverProposal="aes128-cbc,3des-cbc,blowfish-cbc,aes192-cbc,aes256-cbc"ReturnValue82 Algorithm negotiation fail: algorithmName="cipher.c2s" jschProposal="aes128-ctr,aes192-ctr,aes256-ctr,aes128-gcm@openssh.com,aes256-gcm@openssh.com" serverProposal="aes128-cbc,3des-cbc,blowfish-cbc,aes192-cbc,aes256-cbc"SucceededNOSo obviously we are proposing algorithms that the remote server does not support.I cannot find anywhere to allow for aes256-CBC to be used on our end.So how I do I at least enable an algorithm that their server supports???

I have a PDF file whose size is much bigger than I would expect. Using Acrobat Pro option 'Save As Other->Optimized PDF' and then Audit Space Usage I can see that the problem is that there are embedded fonts  However when I go to the Fonts page it shows no embedded fonts Is there anyway to reduce this file size?I have no need for any embedded fonts.  If I am using one 'by mistake' I am happy to change the font to one that does not need to be embedded if someone can tell me how to do that. The fonts listed for the document are

Had PSE 2020, Desktop bust (HDD OK), downloaded PSE 2020 to new machine, but tags (Catalogue ?) not there... Pictures themselves OK, they were on a NAS. Recovered files (Tree - Programme Files/Adobe/Elements 2020 Organiser) from old hard disc (which was 2x500G in Raid 0). Which folders / files do I need to replace in the new machine, to get back to where I was before the old machine broke ?   Should I simply replace them all (Elements 2020 Organiser and all sub folders files) or could that mess up the loading of the programme ? I suspect this question is rather easier to pose than answer, any help / guidance would be appreciated.

Is there a way to work with material references between files? For example, I have a wood material in a file, and I would like to reuse it in another one, but if I change the source file of the wood the other files will be updated.Something similar in Blender we have the "Mark as Asset".

Suddenly my Gaussian Blur stopped working. I have tried to copy one I did before for this client and got a white box around it. I also tried creating a new one and got a white box around it. It was working fine before but not today. I have restarted Illustrator as well as my mac. Didn't make a difference. Please see the 1st image which is the way it's supposed to look then the 2nd image which is my result. I am running macOS High Sierra Version 10.12.6 and Illustrator 2020.

I started using the Illustrator 7th trial on January 18th.Order number: ADD059988277KRNothing comes up if I search with the order number, so can't I pay automatically on January 25th?

Hi,I would like to know if tables of contents are recommended (in addition to bookmarks) especially for large documents. What are the best practices in this area in terms of accessibility? Are there any reference documents that define these good practices? Thanks for your help.Jean Marie

Since moving from an imac to a mac studio all my preflight droplets have stopped working. When ever i drop a file into them i get a error message saying "Droplet" is damaged and can't be opened. You should move it to the bin. This file was downloaded on an unknown date." I have also tried to create the custom profile fixup from scratch but i still get the same error.  These droplets are still working on my old imac but i need to get them moved to my new mac studio asap.

Hello, I bought the Adobe CC a few days ago but the AI generation tool doesn't work. I tried yesterday and it didn't work and I tried to use it the whole day today and still not working. Has someone else experienced the same issue that I do ? Thank you !

I purchased Acrobat Pro 8.0 perpetual license some years ago.  I now have a new computer (Win 11) and wish to continue to use my software.  I have successfully installed it, and it works fine, except that activition requirement options are no longer available.  Internet servers appear to not be available, and the phone options listed in the software are "no longer in service".  I get a "free to use for 30 days" message, and it functions fine thus far.  Now, I realize this is an old software product, but like the old car that I drive, it is my option to continue to use it (at least as long as gas is available, and Windows 11 supports the functions I need).  I have only one other computer on which it is used (Win 10), but that isn't the issue - can't even get to that part of the question.  The issue is access to the activation in the first place. Now, I guess I respect that Adobe has switched to a subscription model, but I'm not interested in that.

Has anyone else encountered this before?   When I double click into isolation mode theres a flash (just within the ai window) and then my GPU is disabled. Pressing escape to come out of isolation mode works but then I'm left with no animated zoom, and am unable to turn GPU mode back on. (menu greyed out) Once I've saved, closed and reopened the document GPU is once again working. I don't have to restart ai, just a doc.   Most frustrating as isolation mode is now a big part of my work flow. Argh! For now I have had to disable it but would very much like to use it again.   Is this just my machine or an illustrator bug? Hi all. ColdFusion 2021 uses Java 11 and ColdFusion 2023 uses Java 17. Java 11 contained the Nashorn Scripting Engine, which is used in my CF 2021 code to run JavaScript on the back end, but Nashorn was removed from Java 17, so I'm looking for the best way to replace what it did in ColdFusion 2023. Has anyone else successfully done this? Apparently Nashorn is now available as a standalone package but I'm not a Java guy, so I don't know how to get it into a form that ColdFusion can use (maybe a jar file). Would anyone else know how to go about this? Another alternative is the GraalJS scripting engine, which I understand can duplicate what Nashorn did, but again, how can this be put into a ColdFusion-usable library or installation? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I want to move the Lightroom library file to a folder other than 'Pictures'. I can set the preferences, but Lightroom always re-creates the folder in the 'Pictures' folder. What I have to do?
