Solved

Hello all!Looking to see if anyone can help figure this out. Is there a way to take a basic vector image (just for an example, lets say I have the Illustrator logo, the Ai), upload to Firefly o PSD or Ai, and have it create different styles/variations/images of it? Examples would be the letter itself stays the same shape and everything, but I want to create different images of it. Examples of the styles I'm talking about. I don't want to create a new iamge from scratch, I want it to take my uploaded image, and apply a style to it. Is that possible?

I can go to web elements and then upload photos from my desktop but I would like to upload directly from Elements 24 Orgnanizer. If I cannot do that then i would like to be able to select photos in windows explorer that correspond to photos selected in Organizer. Can anyone help with this. Just want a workflow that gets me from selected photos or an album in organiser to sharing on the web.

All of a sudden, all but one photos in my current folder started showing a magenta-green moire pattern, which is most obvious in gray areas. Going back to a previous folder that I looked at just before now has the same problem. I have been zooming in and out in the Library module a lot. I have not done any edits (other that lens correction and CA correction on import.) An exported file (jpg, 1920X1440 px) also shows this moire pattern.  I am using Lightroom Classic 14.2 on a Macbook Air 2020 with an M1 chip. The OS is Sequioa 15.3.1 (24D70). I am looking at HEIC (12MB, 24 MB, and HEIF Max) and JXL  (ProRaw Max lossy and lossless) photos from an iPhone 16 Pro.  All these file types show moire patterns. Lightroom is curently using 6.8 GB. Moire patterns in previews are frustrating and makes exports unuseable. Here's the exported file and screen shot of the same file in the Library module:

How can I select shapes with the same color but only within my current selection? No matter what I try it wants to select every shape in the doc

I'm working on a book that's currently 7x10" and need to make it 8x10".  There are 13 documents in the book, and I wonder if there if a way to resize all the documents as a batch. There was a question about this in 2023 that included a script, but I'm hoping there is something more recent. The resizing will require different horizontal margins to compensate for the long lines, no change to font size.Any help appreciated!

Just a question, is there a plugin or something like Grammarly for InDesign?

Hi all,I was wondering if someone could please help me and see if this is possible.  I have limited knowledge of scripts and need some help.  I have to export several Ai files to pdf daily at my work, and save as a "LowRes" Adobe PDF preset, and add "_LowRes" to the pdf name. Then export again with "HiRes" Adobe PDF preset (mostly adding trim marks/bleed), and add "_HiRes" to the pdf name. Right now, its all manual work to do that for each AI files. Is it possible with a script to do this: 1. Select a folder/ grab XX of these AI files. 2. Export 2 versions of each file A. With “XX” PDF preset settings and add “_LowRes” to file nameB. With “XX” PDF preset settings and add “_HiRes” to file name  Any help would be greatly appreciated, Thanks in advance!

Hi Adobe,I have been working on my, well, technically it's my third logo treatment, but this one is rather curvy and involved.I swear every time I click the bezier node, I have to click 3 or 4 more times to get the bezier to work because I keep clicking the whole letter/object, have to re-position, and then click it again - over and over and over. As clunky as Photoshop is, I've never pulled my hair out in the twenty years using it's bezier tool as I have the past number of weeks I have with this one. And guess what...Illustrator is a vector program. It happens to use the bezier...a lot. ...I could scream. You would think bezier would be a focal point of customization. Just like Photoshop has brush size. For all the witty tutorials on LinkedIn and Youtube....For all the "wow, how cool." (cuz it truly is). It doesn't matter if I can't click the dots. For the love and respect of common use, please please please on your next software upgrade, please raise the selection tolerance of your Sel

I have the message in indesign show Missing required parameter 'from' for method 'open' each time I double click on any indesign file. At the same time I  use shotcut keys and would normally use apple+E for export files to pdf. I have not updated anything. Current Indesign is 15.1 and running MacOS Cataline 10.15.2.  I have searched everything and find no solution   {Renamed By MOD}

My user has Adobe Acrobat Pro.  Up until the 24.005.20399 update, (update on this machine on 2/3/2025), she was able to search this document completely.  Now, some text (in tables) in this same document is no longer searchable.  When I copy the text in question and paste it in notepad, it is nothing but unprintable characters.  When I edit the text (seen below), then copy the section I edited, it shows my edit with the correct character, but all the rest is still unsearchable due to the characters being "weird".  Other sections of text are still searchable.  Note: the text "looks" normal on the pdf, but copying the text and pasting it shows the abberation. Again, this is new behavior since the 24.005.20399 update.

Hi everybody! Is there a possibilty to change the color picker in AE? Idk if this is new, or if I only noticed because recently I'm working with Illustrator a lot: There is no way to pick a color and then simply make it lighter or darker. I cannot chose grey, unless I put in exact numbers in the field... In Illustrator I can pick any shade of grey by simply staying on the left side of the picker. How can I change it to that picker? I'm pretty sure it hasn't been like this forever, since I change shades a lot...

I saw the new Generative AI feature in InDesign and created a couple of images while I was working on a document for print. I deleted the images from my layout, but noticed they still appear in the Links panel. The images are neither embedded nor linked and I can't find any way remove them. I fear that they may cause problems when putting my files into a print production RIP, so hoping to find a way to delete them.

Print to PDF feature seems to save as a notepad file - but only when I try to print to pdf emails. It saves with .pdf extension but magically turns into a notepad file and opens up with error message. I've uninstall/reinstalled to no avail. This just started today. Anybody know how to rectify that?

Is this some kind of new feature that when selecting layers in Photoshop, the selected layers gets highlighted with a colour? Because if yes, is there a possibility to turn that off? For a person like myself, this feature is extremely disturbing and makes editing almost impossible. I just noticed this today. Like for real, for a neurodivergent person like myself this might lead to not being able to use the whole app, so... Concentrating on editing the photo is impossible when there is something completely else happening in the corner of my eye. Might seem like tiny issue, but it really makes working super difficult.  I have included a screenshot that demonstrates the issue, as I am not sure if people know what I mean. For Adobe: if this feature is here to stay, please include an option to turn it off. This is completely horrible.

Lightroom sync is constantly showing 6 photos in: "Error". I don't have any detail aout what's the error. But their metada is syncing correctly: when I add or remove star or do some edits, I can see them on my other devices. But the LR Classic app always show sync errors for these 6 photos. The common point is that they are all DNG or TIF. I don't have any issue with RAW (NEF) or JPEG. I don't have any issue iwth my other DNG and TIF. Note that I have the original versions both in LR Classic locally and on the cloud. I have tried the following, without any luck: 1) Rebuild sync cache2) Remove photos from "All Sync Errors" collection, wait for the removal to sync, then add them back I start to think it is a bug regarding the sync status and the state of these photos in the Sqlite catalog and maybe the size ? Is there some API limits ?

How can I import an image into InDesign, in a ten point frame, without the image being cropped by ten points on all four sides? Can I fit the image to the inside of the frame?

It didn't let me put a Image in this.In some of the beats there is Floating Squares not attached to anything? Is there something wrong with the audio? I've tried both MP3 & MP4 but the same thing still happens. Is it a setting I need to adjust? I have my graphs on Speed Graphs also.  Any Help Will Be Valued!

First post here, sorry for the lack of detail in the title.  I'm working on a project in Illustrator and everything was working normally before, but after about 3 minutes of working without the internet, Illustrator started acting up and I'm not sure how to fix it. Normally, when I'm trying to move a shape or object, it moves that shape or object; now, Illustrator is instead moving the outline of that shape/object while leaving the shape/object in its original location. Once I release the button, it moves the shape/object to wherever the outline is, but because of the way I'm trying to build the image, I need to see the object itself is aligning the way I want it to. When I go with the outline, it often has a slight skew to it when it's placed so it's inhibiting more than assisting right now. Does anyone know how to fix this? The image provided shows the object and what it looks like when I try to move it.

Since updating to LR 8.2 for MacOS the AI Denoise function says "Unsupported Photo" whereas it worked previously.

I am testing code that works in CF 11 for an upgrade to CF 2023. I have a component that extends another component and overrides the type of a property in the base component. Here is some simple pseudo code demonstrating the components: Base.cfc: component accessors="true" { property name="myData" type="query"; }  Extend.cfc: component extends="Base" accessors="true" { property name="myData" type="array"; public Extend function init() { setmyData([]); return THIS; } }  When Extend.init() is called, an error is thrown saying that the value is not of type "query". This code works fine in CF 11. Has something changed since that won't allow this, or, is there a workaround? Thanks, Eric

Hi,I've been wanting to change my plan from student to personal/individual for a long time but i always get this error message when I click on "manage plan". I'm not sure what to do and i cant even access my programs anymore cause of this. pls help.

I have a structured framemaker document which is comprised of several other documents (source files). In my main document under the name of the chapter the spacing after the first line of the first paragraph is bigger than set by the formatting style. This problem seems to be recurring for the first paragraph of each highest level chapter. Inside of the source file the lines are spaced correctly. I check the formatting of my main document and the source file and they seem to be matching, so I assume it is a problem with the main document, but I cannot figure what could be wrong. See the attached pictures for more clarity. Moreover, there are cases when this spacing issue does not occur, this is also shown in an attached picture.
