I'm having problems moving the image in InDesign v20.1, when I click on the image it immediately moves the area away from the cursor, this makes it difficult to move to a specific place I need, both for image and text, and I'm not able to drag the pages and change their position, I've already uninstalled it, switched to other older versions but I'm still having the same problem, what could it be?

No that's not a typo. I have a new pc and while I carefully backed up my import presets I can't find how to restore them. Inevitably any search on "import presets" comes up with how to import Develop presets. I've done that, got my Develop presets back but... please, how do I restore my import presets? I'm sure it falls under the heading of "it's easy if you know how" but I don't know how. Thanks.

I'm still on CS3 and figured out how to get printing separations back, but still printing PDF is missing.I tried "Repair Acrobat Installation".I'm on Yosemite. Please provide a work around, thanks!

When I go to save a file I sometimes get the message:'Some original copy is missing. Do you want to continue with the smart previews?'How can I solve this, as there is no option available after this message?

Hi, for some time now in the new versions of Illustrator when I move the anchor points with the white arrow they move jerkily and it is very annoying when I want to position them in precise points for precision work.Does anyone know if this is just my problem and if there is a way to fix this problem?

Motion scale in Premiere software would not working when I applied a speed ramp.

Hi ThereI'm trying to encode Chapter Markers, which I've added to my project in Premiere Pro into my mp4 file.So far I've added the Markers to my project, and made them "chapter markers". Then I exported my project to the Media Encoder with the H.264 preset. But the exported file didn't contain the Chapter markers. At least VLC, Windows Media Player and iTunes were unable to pick them up.I've also tried MPEG2 Blu-Ray, MPEG2 DVD and H.264 Blu-Ray, which gave me Video files without audio and no chapter markers as well. I suppose they could be inside the other 3 to 5 files. But I would like to have one file, not 3 or 5.I've seen tutorials on how to do this with Encore but it has been discontinued hasn't it? So this doesn't help either. Besides the question of how this is done, does the duration of the chapter marker matter for the export? At least in my testing so far it didn't make a difference. The exported file remained without chapter markers. Thanks for your help.AS

Hello, I am in need of a script to help export pages of different web sizes to jpeg with the File name + websize name. Examples: Job123_Email_600x300.Jpeg  | Job123_web_1200x700.JpegI have each page within indesign built according to the size of the web. I couldnt for the life of me figure out how to somehow specify within a script to name page 1 = email_600x300 and page 2 = web 1200x700 and so on.  I don't have any knowlege with scripting, I did however created a script 2 years ago from just trial and error and messing with example scripts to export pdf or jpeg with multiple variations ( layers on or off) // Proof pdf export version, smallest file size. var myDocument = app.documents.item(0);var myDoc = app.activeDocument;var layers = myDocument.layers; var slots, tables, hosted, nonHosted, hotel, promos, translation, i, myFileName;// Export locationvar myFolder = Folder.desktop;// PDF Preset specification// PDF PRESET SELECTIONSvar myPresets = app.pdfExp

I'm used to use the Transform function (command+T) to scale proportonally by holding the shift key while dragging any corner. Now it seems this functionality has been reversed so if I hold the shift key while dragging the corner the object gets distorted. How do I reverse this back to how it was?

I have a problem. I use LrC since 2020. I process the files so that they come out in TIFF. Suddenly the ITFFs that used to be 76MG are now 8 MG. Same camera, same lens, same workflow. Is it that I have too many photos in the collections and LrC is saturated?

Hi, Esteemed users of Acrobat Forms. I am looking for some help!I am using the following  Javascript to auto populate Date field. Intent is that a user when first time opens the form, this date field will be auto populated and will stay same. var currentTime = new Date();var month – currentTime.getMonth() + 1;var day = currentTime.getDate();var year = currentTime.getFullYear();var rTime = day + “/” + month + “/” + year;this.getField(“DateReceived”).value = rTime; I tried all the following three options for entering Javascript (one at a time) and in all cases I am getting the same error message: “Error: SyntaxError: Illegal character at line 3.”Action > Mouse Up > Run Java ScriptAction: Mouse Up > Execute Menu |  Validate > Run Custom Validation ScriptAction: Mouse Up > Execute Menu | Calculate > Custom Calculation Script Since I am not a Java programmer, I was wondering if somebody could please help resolve this?

I have been having an issue with Premiere Pro 25.1 constantly crashing on my Mac Studio M2 Max.   It started near the end of last year and it seems to be in new projects.   I can open old projects and make changes fine.   I can open the projects that crash on my 15" Macbook Pro fine.  It's just slow so that isn't a solution.   I had just finished a 20 minute documentary at the end of last year and it was fine on this machine.    I did have the Logictech Creative MX Consule installed.  I thought maybe that was it.  I have unistalled all the drivers for it now.   Still happens.   It happens when projects are in different places like an SSD or our server.   Still happens.   What am I missing?   It's very frustrating. Just a generic crash.  No error message.

Hello, I have a specified CMYK process colour palette in an Illustrator file that I'd like to match with an Indesign file. I saved the palette as a .ase file and imported it into InDesign.  When I copy artwork from Illy and paste into InDesign, it automatically adds a duplicate swatch of the exact same colour (plus the tints) instead of adhering to the specified swatch. I'd like to keep this neat, and be ale to adjust colours from the palette globally.  My colour spaces are the same, and synchionrised using Design Bridge. Does anybody know what might be causing InDesign to duplicate them? Thanks P.S. Export and place is the normal process, but on this occassion Id like to be able to edit the layout and content in InDesign. It's a raft of pie charts that cannot be made in InDesign.

Whenever I click on an object in Indesign, whether it's a text box or an image or a rectangle, it shifts to a random direction very slightly and I have to undo it to have it go back in place. I'm only clicking to update the shape of something or the position or the style or the text but it involuntary shifts the location for me whether it's up, down, left, right. Why might this be happening? The same thing happens when I use my trackpad and my mouse. I am certain there is a problem or a misconfigured setting in my Adobe Indesign. I have also reinstalled Indesign and also installed an older version yet it continues. This problem does not happen on other Adobe programs that I have used. I've also recently switched to a new macbook, my previous macbook did not have this problem. MacOS version: Sonoma 14.2.1 (23C71)Indesign version: 19.1

Hi!Do you know how to achieve this effect in a vector drawing? It reminds me of 'Image Trace' results, but I need to create the illustration from scratch and match that exact line style. Any ideas?

I recently subscribed to after effects and when I opened it, it said some plugins were not compatible with my version of after effects (2024). However I cannot find after effects 2023 anywhere, even when I navigate to previous versions, the oldest version they give me is the first 2024 ae version. Does anyone know how I can download after effects 2023? Would be greatly appreciated.

Hello, community! I have an issue after changing the CHARACTER STYLE/FONT; from a sans to a sans serif font; which causes the changes of the text frames. Usually, when there is overwritten text, it will be highlighted, with a "+" symbol. However, it is not happening this time.  On the Preflight Panel, it shows 1 error, and I click the #1 nothing is selected/happened; after I duplicated the page(because I have two background colors on my page setting for the design), it changes to 2 errors with a #3; click on them and nothing happens again. Is it weird? If I duplicate ONE error, then it should be 2 x One error, right? What I've tried so far:1. I have backup my old document and I try to find out where are the error. The error appears after I edit that character style, so I believe it's the text issue. That's why I try to find it out in my "txt" layer. So I have tried deleting the whole text frame. Unfortunately, the error is still there even if it is just a blank page(see

I know there is a solve - but I have a specific kind of eye that I am drawing for a character. I am starting with the blank template now from pro and going step by step. eyes are proving to be most difficult. My pupils will NOT move with my eyes left, right, up or down. THe pupil is inclusive of BOTH the black center with the white dots to show light reflecting. I haave them grouped together in AI when i am building the puppet. Any thoughts on how i can get my pupils to move with me? Otheriwse eyebrows and blinking are working great.

Hi! So I am trying to install ISO coated v2 eci on a mac os high sierra. I have copied it into:- /Library/Application Support/Adobe/Color Profiles- /Library/ColorSync/Profiles But when I go to Color Sync or try to change my settings directly from illustrator, the ICC profile isn't available.  I have already changed my permission settings fromhttps://support.apple.com/en-us/HT203538 But the issue persists, I really don't know what to do, please help!!!

I often work with PSD files which width equals to my display's one (1920px), so when I preview my document in full screen mode (pressing F) and set scale to 100% by pressing CTRL+1, my image will probably get shifted to one of the directions (up, left, right). How do I center my document, so it starts from the top left pixel of my monitor, and ends to the top right pixel of it, so I don't have to struggle with centering the image by CTR+Scroll or using scrollbars?
