Grazie in anticipo

Hello all,Today I have two questions to which I haven’t found an answer by myself:1. My usual layout has one text frame filling the whole page, but divided in two columns. When I insert a footnote, say in the left-hand column, I want its text to remain in that same column, and not spill over under the right-and column as if I had given a Span command.I have seen in questions already asked in this forum that some users have their footnotes behave natively just like I would want mine to behave, but I haven’t so far found a way to achieve that result.I attach a screen capture, as a picture speaks a thousand words, or so they say...2. is it possible to widen the space between the short separating line above the footnote, and that footnote itself? I have tried Space Before in the Footnote Paragraph Style I have created, but it doesn’t seem to work. Many thanks to you all for your help.Dominique

Hi, it's my first time using adobe acrobat and the pdf I created I had to delete a section that wasn't needed, but I have this white empty space where the text used to be, how do delete that extra space or shift the information to the top to make it look normal? It's also like that for the other pages even though I didn't delete anything from those pages, there's a lot of empty white space and I need to figure out how to get rid of it.

It seems that since we have patched users with 26.001.21745, now when they try to print a PDF from any location to our papercut server, they are all getting the same Adobe has failed to print this document’ error box. Has anyone else experienced this?

I just installed Photoshop 2025 on a new computer, M4 Max MacStudio on MacOS 15.7.1, and when I open it I get this error popup. There was a problem with Generator. If the problem persists, please see:http://www.adobe.com/go/photoshop_generator_errors_enNone of the solutions there seem relevent to a new install. I have no virus protection for instance. Log errors are copied below, starting with "No viable plugins were found in '/Applications/Adobe Photoshop 2025/Plug-ins/Generator/'" -- and indeed that directory looks to be empty? The later ones make it look like there's a bug in some script.I've read many posts here on similar problems but none of the mentioned solutions that I've tried so far have made any difference. I am using Acrobat DC. I have a client who only has Reader. She is requesting that I send her a fillable PDF that is locked. She needs to be able to unlock the PDF herself, edit the fillable fields, re-lock it, and send it out to her clients.I tried "restrict editing", and it does not stop the ability to edit the fillable fields.I tried creating a password protection, but when I unlock the document it only allows me to make changes under the Edit tool, not the fillable fields. Also it does not give me an option to use the password to use the Prepare Form tool. It just says that I cannot use Prepare Form because of the security settings.I also thought of locking each field in the properties window, but then she would not be able to unlock or edit them.I hope this makes sense. TIA for your help!

Can you please provide me the link, where I can download Fresco Version 4. I have tried to install the newest version, but it crashes. I really need a version which works. Thank you.

I started a 7-day trial and was charged $21.96 but canceled the subscription before the 14-day mark. How do I contact Adobe for a refund?

Hi,Up until about a week ago, Iu sed my external HDs for scratch disks in Photoshop and they are no longer appearing in the app. I am running Tahoe on a MacBook Pro and have the latest version of Photoshop (and Photoshop Beta).I  have tried:Updating Photoshop  Rebooting my machine Ensuring Photoshop and cloud have full Disk access (both under Privacy permission and in Files & Folders) Both drives have plenty of space (3TB and 5TB respectively) I have full read/write permission of both drives and they are connected directly to my Mac (not through a hub)Both drives are formatted as ExFAT and while some online chats indicate it isn’t compatible with Photoshop . . . it WAS until about a week ago. I cannot reformat them, as they have other data that I cannot erase / move.UGH. Help!

I am on Windows 11 Pro and I have the latest Creative Cloud with PS and LR Classic, Nvidia 2060S with the latest drivers. This error started appearing a couple of months ago. I start Lightroom, never mind if I open the catalogue or click the icon, and it takes 20 minutes to pop up. Task Manager shows it’s running, but it takes 20 minutes to show up.

We believe we've identified a regression in the Adobe Acrobat Chrome extension introduced in the recent 26.7.x releases. Our web application generates PDF reports in response to an authenticated HTTP POST. The server returns the PDF successfully. However, when the Adobe extension is enabled, immediately after the successful POST, the browser performs an unexpected GET request to the same URL. This GET fails because the endpoint is POST-only. When the Adobe extension is disabled, the unexpected GET does not occur, and the application functions normally. We have HAR files and server logs showing both cases. (extension enabled and extension disabled) We also noted a related report regarding version 26.7.2.0 and authenticated PDFs in the community. Can engineers investigate this. We are currently telling users of our app to turn off the extension (and then it works fine) Note: It has been working fine for the last 6 years with the Adobe Extension.

how do we get the file names to show on these thumbnails page?

I have seen videos of Adobe Illustrator Turntable on YouTube and I want to try if Turntable can create a 3D look of my 2D characters and animals that I created in Moho Studio. In addition, can I create keyframe animations with Turntable? I already use bone rigging and animations in my Moho files. Can I import the bones(from my Moho files) in Illustrator and use them with Turntable or is it necessary to use another software when I want to create animations?I want to create 3D models(with ai if possible) from my 2D characters(all Moho Studio and Inkscape files) and then animate the 3D models in Adobe software. Maybe Mixamo?Which Adobe software can I use for my purposes?

I have moved countries. I want to change the location; and after my current plan ends, I want to check out the local prices. Cant find an email address to contact adobe support. What to do? Thanks

I have a relatively quick computer, i7 64gb ram, and OMG just opening Acrobat, or any sized documents takes forever… :30 seconds minimum. 6-12 months ago they opened instantly. This is painful. I literally forget what I was looking for in reports by the time these documents open up. I uninstalled and reinstalled (Continuous Release 2026 001 21431). Dell XPS 9510 64gb, 2x1TB SSDs, Windows 11 Pro Insider Program (which I predict will be said to be the problem) all updated. I ran the repair and it took at least 15 minutes? The ‘Please wait while Windows configures Adobe Acrobat’ ‘Gathering Required Information’ took :30 minutes! It seems, that over the last year, ever since Acrobat started heavily integrating AI into Acrobat, performance nosedived. Maybe I’m wrong. I’ve disabled any AI functions (preferences/Generative AI - unchecked all) largely because I have been having this slowness issue… which got much worse after reinstalling this time around. Is there an older version (2024 would b

Personally I am becoming increasingly concerned about how stuck in the past After Effects is. It's feels like "this is an amazing tool... from 15 years ago" When you look at the competition there's no direct competitor to AE, but a few apps that together do everything better. That's AE's only really USP - it does an average job of most things, but how much longer can it last like this? It's one thing to say "oh it's too much work to update our 30 year old codebase or make use of modern GPUs" etc etc., but failing to incorporate basic QOL improvements that have been in this very forum for YEARS is just not good enough.  Are there any plans at all to drag After Effects into the modern era or is the plan to keep it as a legacy tool with minor UI updates?

I am just learning to work with mockups and smart objects. This is a faux postage stamp I created and it’s going into a mockup that has deckled postage stamp edges etc. I’ve tried to use Free Transform to resize the “stamp” to the green “canvas” but it won’t fit exactly or proportionately. Is there something I can do to make it fit the green area precisely? Or something I can do to change the size of the green area so they’re both a closer match? Thank you.

I need the installer for an older version of Photoshop and After Effects—one that my macOS supports. I’ve tried installing via Creative Cloud, but it fails with the error: "Processor support for Advanced Vector Extensions 2 (AVX2) is required."

So quite simply I created a path and now I want to fuse the two anchor points at the end into one so that their handles will still be intact and the overall form of the shape doesn’t gets changed.Like it can be seen on the upper end of the form, I want to use Illustrator’s function to create a specifically sized radius on the closed corner of a path, which so far doesn’t seems to work with two sepaerate anchor points.Originally I used a “Merge Overlapped Anchors” script but it stopped working this morning. All options inside Illustrator that I tried so far had no effect whatsoever, including the object>path stuff, Ctrl + J on top of tools for merging stuff and other commands. Also for some reason the unselected paths appear purple, even though they only have a black outline and their layer is red.
