I can't get LRC to import my new files while leaving them in their current location. For several years I have been using Photo Mechanic to offload the files from my camera's SD card, rename them, and place them in the proper location on my hard drive while also creating a backup folder as a safety measure. I then select all the files and drag and drop them onto LRC, which opens the import window and creates thumb nails of the files to be imported. I then add keywords and select "import". Normally, the files load into LRC in the same location that Photo Mechanic placed them.  Today that is not happening. Looking at the import dialogue screen, the source location is correct but LRC is changing the destination location of the files by adding a subfolder named "2025" to the destination location and a second subfolder inside of that named "2025-10-29" (the date the photos were taken). It then creates new copies of the photos and places them inside this "2025-10-29" folder whi

Hi, I'm building a CEP panel where i want to insert a multicam sequence into my timeline. I essentially want the script to do the same thing as me dragging the multicam sequence from my media bin into the timeine (except with the script). I'm currently doing track.insertClip(multicamProjectItem, insertionPoint), but I'm encountering the issue where when the sequence gets put into the timeline, it loses its "multicam" functionality (the videos get overlapped and I can't press 1/2/etc. to swap between the cams). Any help here would be greatly appreciated!

I'm not sure if the title makes sense, but this is what I am trying to do; in the text box, I am typing in a state's abbreviation and need the abbreviation to be in parenthesis, but I don't want to have to put in the parenthesis every time. Is it possible to just type in the two letters but the output of it would switch to the letters be surrounded by the parenthesis? textbox1: I type in IL, output: (IL)

Hi - I'm new to Illustrator, purchased to develop a logo for a project I'm working on. I managed to create what I need, but have been unable to size it properly to fit into an Instagram profile circle. I have exported and selected 110x110 for sizing (Instagram's suggested sizing), but it still does not fit in that damn circle, AND the quality of the text is impacted greatly (I get making things larger causes distortion, but thought smaller would not be an issuer?). I can't figure out how to resolve this problem, and am pulling my hair out. HELP!Thanks,Stacey

Hello,In the timeline I have a blue line at the right of the cursor. What is it, and how to remove it ?

My problem-I load a clip in the timeline, I invoke the Text window, go ro the Transcript tab, and click Start Transcription. All is well, allowing for the 40% error rate i have to fix- but hey, who's complaining... The problem is, after I select Export to Text File I'm ready to clear the Transcript window and do it all over again with a new clip.  And I cannot find any Clear Transcript command of any kind in the immediate universe. Not under the 3-dot popup where by design it OUGHT to be, not anywhere in the immediate vacinity. I need the transcript for pre-edits, AKA, paper cits-- not captions! Do I seriously have to generate a captions track from the transcript, clear it to clear the Text window, is that the only way? Anybody tested this? Where is the Clear Transcript buttonWITHIN the Transcript tab??? Best, as always,Loren

Im having a lot of trouble with the mesh tool beacuse my text lost a lot of detail and im thinking of another way like with the arc or arch tool but i cannot make the text go like "melted" from the middle, does any body know how to make it work? i know it has to lost some detail but not that much to deform all of my text

I want to allow up to 3 digits in a text field but if I enter 999 under the Arbitrary Mask option and only enter 2 digits in the fillable field when testing the form, I get an error message. Is there a way to type in a symbol to indicate 'up to 3 digits'?

Hello, Community Members! I know that this issue was discussed a couple of years ago but it seems to be a recurring one! When I sent my video with captions to Export, I chose Captions to be rendered separately. However, every time I tried I had them burnt into the video together with a .srt file. Eventually, I disabled a Caption track, had the video file exported (someone else's clever idea) and rendered Captions separately.  Perhaps, a much more simple solution is hidden somewhere in the Settings which I'm missing?Thank you!

Adobe online Plans page is not loading, that's where one can make changes to plan.  Looks like this has been done purposefuly to prevent people from cancelling their plans.  On their help site it showed if plans are not loading try in 24 hours.  I ended up paying additional two months subcription after unable to cancel it online on their Plans page.  Eventually called their customer support line and cancelled it.   [Topic edited for clarity]
