Solved

Hello,I am wondering if anyone could point me in the right direction. I am moving to a new Windows server and upgrading from CF2016 to CF2021, and I can't seem to get my SMS gateway running even though it works fine on the old server. The errors I am getting in my coldfusion-out log when it attempts to start the instance are:"SMSGateway (SMSWatch) Binding to SMSC""SMSGateway (SMSWatch) Bind operation failed: java.lang.NullPointerException"This is the code for the CFC I am using for my instance. I am not sure where it originally came from, but probably from a ColdFusion example:<cfcomponent> <cfset undeliverablePath = "C:\CF21\cfusion\sms\undeliverable" /> <cffunction name="send" output="false" access="private" returntype="boolean"> <cfargument name="username" required="true" type="string"/> <cfargument name="password" required="true" type="string"/> <cfargument name="from" required="true" type="string"/> <cfargument name="to" req

I am in the need to find all entries in a LR Classic database, that actually have their link to the original photo broken. I haven't found a filter/attribute to do this.

I've been happily using my copy of Photoshop CS5 for many years. I did have a plan sunscription for a while, but I wasn't really getting value for it. I cancelled my subscription and went back to CS5 - all is good. Or it was.I updated my camera, and it now uses CR3 format, and I can't update my camera raw app.  what seems a common event - "download failed to install, please contact customer services". None of the links provided work, nor do the solutions from the community archives.  Is there anyway to get an update, or do I finally need to lay CS5 to rest....

I had purchased full Photoshop and Illustrator CS5 versions on disks from Adobe a few years back. (a sizeable investment). My Windows computer subsequently had a motherboard failure making it non-useable. I was able to remove the hard drive and I can access it in full through a docking unit. I have a new windows 11 desktop but I no longer have the install disks (I lost them during a recent move). Can I either access Photoshop from that external docking drive, or can I somehow reinstall it onto my new computer's C:\ drive from that external drive? Is there any way other than spending another ton of money on an online subscription? Thanks in advance.

Hello there! This is the 1st time I'm having this issue.Whenever I press <return> to render between the I&O points, Premiere (after rendering) starts the playback at the beginning of the timeline and NOT at the IN point. This is definitely (for me) not a functional way to work.Any hint on how to change this? Thanks in advance.

Hi thereCan I upload the latest version of Illustrator EPS format in my contributor account?Or I should use the legacy version "Illustrator 10 EPS"? Cause the latest version of saving the EPS doesn’t open older version of Illustrator. Thanks

Hi Adobe Stock Contributors community, I'm a new contributor trying to upload AI-generated images to build my portfolio, but I keep running into this error: "Not all of your contents could be submitted for moderation." It happens when I try to submit batches larger than around 50 images at once. I've made sure they're properly tagged as generative AI, meet the resolution requirements (4MP+), and don't contain any copyrighted elements. I've also spaced out my uploads to smaller batches (10-20 at a time), but the issue persists if I hit what seems like a weekly limit. Any tips on how to increase these limits faster—maybe by improving acceptance rates or contacting support would be super helpful. I've checked the help docs but couldn't find specifics on this error. Thanks in advance for any advice! Best RegardImesha

I have a bunch of HR docs that I need to send for e-signatures. How can I auto populate the date and signature fields so I don't ahve to grab and drag over to each space when requesting an e-signature? Thank you

I am trying to add a link in a web page to a PDF file which takes you to a particular page in the PDF file. I have followed these instructions from elsewhere on the internet and it does not to work! 😞 For example for page 4 the advice I have got is to add #page=4 to the end of the link. Thus the whole link for a file (in the same folder) which is called Script_310317.pdf would be as follows …Script_310317.pdf#page=4This should take you to page 4 of the PDF but it still just takes you to the top or page one of the file. What have I done wrong? I am using Safari. Thanks for your help,Gareth

I haven't quite been able to figure out the difference between TRACKING and KERNING.However, in the meantime, is there a keyboard shortcut I can use to enter tracking in (numerical) with the keyboard?

Trying to get a better understanding when text is converted into Wireframe.I have text which has had wireframe applied. I am very surprised with the results. The magnifcation is 6400%. This appears to be severly pixelated?Procedure used;1) Type char2) Select text and Create Outline. (Also tried the Object Flatten Transparency)3) 3D and Materials Expand to WireframesWould like a better understanding of the Wireframes process. Based on a quick search it is not suppose to convert to raster? Thanks

I have noticed what seems to be a bug involving the comment tools.  The behavior causes strikethrough text to be automatically generated and interferes with single-key accelerators.   How to Reproduce the Behavior:Open a PDF with selectable text.  Open comment tools so you see the specialized top and side menus. Select some text with the cursor.  Type anything.  The selected text automatically gets strikethrough markup and your typing populates a comment bubble.   Environmental Factors:This behavior does not happen with the comment tools closed.  This behavior also occurs if the cursor is still associated with a specific position in the text, in which case a zero-length strikethrough is generated with the comment.  This behavior is independent of the "Enable text selection for Highlight, Strikethrough, and Underline" option.  This behavior is independent of the "Use single-key accelerato

Hello everybody I've reviewed the forums and have also been in touch with Adobe Support on this directly. But no solution as of yet. Would be grateful for any guidance. I've just purchased Acrobat DC because I wanted to be able to edit PDFs. The file that I am trying edit is using the font:  "Officina Sans ITC Book". However when I try to edit text in the file, it automatically defaults to a different font (Minion Pro) and a message pops up"The original font Officina Sans ITC Book is not available or can't be used in editing. Adobe Acrobat DC is using the font Minion Pro in its place."To resolve this, I purchased the "Officina Sans ITC Book" font package and downloaded it to my computer. It's working fine when I try to use it in Word. However, I still can't use it in Acrobat. In the Adobe Distiller settings, the font is listed there as "always embed" under the "font settings".Does anybody have any ideas? My company always use this font, so I need to find a way around this. Thanks

In my attached image, viewing from outline mode, you can see my 10 artboards with round objects in nine of them, and then there are these very large stray lines and squares going everywhere. I've been copying/pasting from another .ai file into this one. And only when in outline mode can I see them. Some are just wild-looking, while others appear to have been guides. Searching for stray points from 'Select/Object/Stray Points' doesn't find them either. Maybe something from my other file got copied over. There are clipping masks in my artwork but it would seem you can still search for odd lines within clipping masks in the Layers panel, right? Don't know how to get rid of these.  I have Illustrator 29.8.1Running MacOS Sequoia 15.5

I'm a grad student and would love be able to use shortcuts to simply highlight PDFs and annotate them in the comments sidebar. My "single-key accelorators" option is turned on, however when I ue the cursor to highlight text and press "u" the text is struck through, ALWAYS, and never highlighted. Shift + u performs identically—it doesn't cycle through annotation options, it ONLY strikes throught text. If I press "u" and attempt to highlight, the automatic response of the program is "insert text." Can somebody PLEASE help my configure the program to simply... highlight? This is the bane of my reading existence and I know other users have encountered this issue, too, without resolution.  Many, many thanks.

Hello,I’m having an issue with Adobe Photoshop on my Windows laptop. After uninstalling Photoshop (because it wasn’t opening properly), I now get this error message every time I try to launch it:“Some of the application components are missing from the Application directory. Please reinstall the application.”I have already tried the following steps, but the problem persists:Uninstalled Photoshop through the Creative Cloud Desktop App.Selected “Remove preferences” during uninstallation.Used the Adobe Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool to remove Photoshop and Creative Cloud completely.Restarted the computer.Manually deleted all remaining Adobe Photoshop folders from:C:\Program Files\Adobe\Tried reinstalling Photoshop (latest version, and also older versions from “Other versions”), but the same error still appears when I try to open it.I have an active paid Creative Cloud subscription and just want Photoshop to work again.Could you please help me completely reset or repair my Photoshop installatio

I am unable to save preference changes - I suspect the "Done" button is at the very bottom of some page, which I can't get to as the page can only be moved up a couple of cm.This is on an HP laptop, 15" screen

Hi guys,Everytime I try to install the Acobradt the message "Installation Failed" appears with error 136 and when I click retry, the same error repeats.
