Solved

Manually: I have one object(Main Piece). I duplicate it onto another layer (UG_OG). I use the "off_neg_1_16in" action I have. It selects the offset piece(Offset Piece) and nothing else. I change the spot color tent to 100%. End result is perfect.Script: Does everything but after the action it still has everything selected and changes the color for all of them. End result is inncorrect. I should note it only does the offset on the UG_OG piece which is what I want. So im even more confused as to how the other 2 pieces are still selectedSo even though after it does the action it should technically only have 1 object selected but has all 3 pieces selected. Are you suppose to deselect objects in the script every single time? I thought it would do this automatically if true?I put safe guards in place to only change what I want but I was wondering if im doing something wrong? Why and How is a script completely different than doing it manually? Script doesn't show safe guards btw.var ogPi

I updated my Illustrator the other day to Adobe Illustrator 2025 and both new files and files I have been previously working on with the older version of Adobe are running significantly slower.  What could be the issue here and a solution please.

the following photo was rejected for quality issue. could you help me for understanding this issue in detail?

For a while when I used the gradient mask, I was able to use the mask additively where instead of cancelling the mask I just drew and rewriting it over my next "stroke" it would keep what I created and then add to that mask? Basically I have several sides of an image that I want to mask via opacity, so I would prefer not to have to keep applying the mask and then creating another one, but to have the opacity mask strokes be cumulative. Currently I can create an opacity mask but when I draw another mask, it just cancels the previous gradient mask and then replaces it with the new mask. Is there a setting I can change where it will be cumulative?

I used to be able to turn off Adobe Fonts in the CC preferences, but it seems that is no longer an option.I prefer to use the fonts I have installed locally, thanks very much, but now Adobe has decided that I should be using the fonts in the cloud. If I open a file that contains a font I don't have activated in my font manager, Adobe Fonts helpfully activates the cloud version. It doesn't even ask, it just does it and then tells me it's been activated. So I have to deactivate it so I can activate my locally installed font.I'm having other font problems, but this is the most vexing.

I had to switch phones recently, and I logged in Lightroom on my new phone and tried to Restore Purchase, but it kept telling me that I don't have any previous purchases. I went to the Galaxy Store where I saw that I had an ongoing subscription, and I decided to deactivate it and start from scratch. Sadly now, I get an error message telling me that "Couldn't complete purchase. Already purchased. Error code: IS9224/6050/VbZkMJABQe" Another message I get is "Unable to process purchase. The Galaxy Store was unable to process your purchase at the moment" Can anyone help?

Since Adobe Reader has updated to 2025.001.20744 prints are now only printing like the attached example which is chopping off most of the page.  PDFs print ok if loaded in Microsoft Edge. Setup a clean machine, installed Adobe reader 2025.001.20693 and printed and was ok.  Did Help...check for updates which updated and then the issue occurs.Printing to PDF and then loading the failed output back into Adobe reader seems to result in blue sections on the page when you click.

Asking because it looks like I don't have it installed as it just shows up as a bunch of boxes when I try to use it. Seems that it could be the same font that's used in the Loudness Radar effect, because I've noticed the text on that also shows as boxes - see attached image. Using a new iMac and never had this problem before on my old mac or my Windows laptop. Thanks in advance!

I have placed images for backgrounds and inside of masks. Everything is scaled and positioned correctly. When I save my file and re-open it the next day, some of the placed image files have moved out of position significantly (image attached). If I embed the images the problem disappears but significantly slows down my project and increases file size. This bug makes the 'place file' functionality redundant as I cannot send over files if things will only re-open incorrectly when handing the package off to artworkers or client. Thanks in advance.

Would be nice to have an option to constrain the Grid to the Artboard. Curent format it is distracting to have the grid outside of your work area.Just a thought.

I don't know that Acrobat is the right place to post this, but it seems to be coming from something called Adobe Distiller and I don't know if I'm even using the product in the background of something or not.  In the last week or so, I've been getting the error image pasted below (at least it's below as I enter this).   It happens about half the time upon boot up and it pops up occasionally at other time, even when I'm not working or having any Adobe Creative Cloud products open.  Like I might leave my computer just fine, go have dinner, come back and find that error pop-up on my screen.  Or just now, when the only thing I've got open at the moment is the Creative Cloud Desktop, not any of its products....One thing I found online says that if you get that message you should uninstall and reinstall the product, but when I go to my install/uninstall option in Windows 11, I don't even see a product called Windows Distiller there. ...What could be causing this

Hello,Yesterday I uploaded 15 AI-generated images on Adobe Stock. Today, 10 of them were rejected with the message: "We found that it is likely to be generated by AI and not labelled as such."However, I am sure I checked the "Created with Generative AI" option while uploading. I also deleted the other 5 images that were pending review because I was worried they might face the same issue. My questions are:1. Can I re-upload these images again after making sure they are properly labelled?2. Do I need to add "AI generated" in the title or keywords in addition to checking the box?3. Could this rejection be due to a technical error, or did I miss something in the process?Thank you.

I always thought that "Package for print" only copied links that are used in the documents, but having done it a couple of times with my current book, I find that many unused illustrations are being copied. How can I get rid of unused links. When looking at the links folder, there is no way to determine which one are used in the document and which ones are obsolete, so manually deleting them is not a realistic option. Anything I can try?

I have placed an angular dimension.. but I'd like to hide the text that tells the angle.. and ultimately, provide a text description instead of the value... is there a way to hide the numerical value?

Sorry for the lengthy post, but it has to do with the LensTagger plugin for Lightroom. For several years, I've been successfully using this to edit EXIF data for manual focus or legacy lenses adapted to a non-OEM camera (e.g., Leica M lenses on Hasselblad or Sony cameras). The plugin uses exiftool and is not exactly robust, but if you set up the path for exiftool correctly and use the plugin's workflow as designed, it works. After I installed LR Classic 14.5.1, LensTagger stopped working. I endlessly get Error 256 or 512 or some other codes once in a while that I don't understand. About the only thing I can think of is, this plugin uses the /tmp folder to write/read some files, and it looks like there is some issue with the LensTagger plugin logic under macOS sandbox / integration and permissions. (My macOS is Sonoma version 14.6.1.) I've given both Lightroom and exiftool Full Disk Access on my MacBook, but that has not helped. If anyone else has experience with this issue or if the Ad

Hi - hopefully somebody here can help. I use Lightroom Classic on a desktop and have over 200,000 photos in the library. I've used this for over 10 years and it has performed well through multiple upgrades.  I am transitioning to an iPhone from my SLR and trying to set up Lightroom correctly. My first problem was that my 20 GB allowance on the cloud was exceeded, so synching wasn't happening between the iPhone, iPad and Desktop.  Right or wrong, I went into the 'All synced photosk folder and deleted all those photos.   The way I understand it, this does not delete the originals, and I backed up all the synced photos before deleting anyway - just in case.  I now have the desktop where I want it, with zero synced photos and the cloud has 20 gig available. What I want to do is when I go on a photo shoot or vacation I want to sync just those photos with the cloud,  process them in the field on my iPad and when I get back, sync them with the desktop and clear o

I just upgraded to LRc 14.5.1. I had 2000+ photos in All Photos. Now I only have 335 photos.  What happened?  What can I do?  All my photos appear to be intact on an external hard drive.  Also intact on a backup external hard drive.  Using Mac OS Tahoe 26.0.1.  What can I do to return the photos to LRc?

Hello everyone! I am looking for any insights of why visits in google analytics would be lower than the reported visits from our X site (using adobe analytics) sent to the a Y site (using google analytics) - using X and Y to differ the sites.  For example - our site has reported thousands of visits clicking on CTAs leading to that site (-3% difference compared to the visitor dimension).  However, this number has only been about 600 in total per what the team has seen on their end. Now, I know comparing data in different platforms are not the best practice as this can vary depending on how visits/sessions/etc are defined in either platform. Has anyone dealt with this before and come to a potential root cause? Best,

I hope this isn't a silly question.. I am working on a document which has been supplied with the Language set to French. I need to spell check it in English, but don't seem to be able to change the languge of the dictionary.I have changed the setting in Settings>Hypenation.Did language not used to appear as a setting in the character panel? Thanks!!
