Just so folks are aware, in the May 2024 Adobe financials, the company grossed 5.3 billion USD with a NET profit of $1.57 billion dollars, a 29% margin.  Apparently that's not enough profit, so our monthly fees for creative cloud are increasing 100% !  Does anyone else wonder where all that money is going to go? The CEO receives $44,000,000 per year in cash and equities, maybe that isn't enough, so those of us on the using end need to double our expenditures to Adobe.  And Adobe is buying back shares so the value of those top executives who own the bulk of the shares can increase their net worth.  This, however, is just typical of the American Corporate Greed.

Hi,I'm new to Illustrator and trying to convert a phrase into a Raiders of the Lost Ark Style image as below. I need to angle and create depth and add the drop shadow as well as add the gradient. Any tips or tutorials to help me realise this would be much appreciated. It's for a personal project. Many thanks, Sandra (image below found on google search)

I'm trying to set a motion blur on a simple shape with 3 key frames scaling it up & down. I see the main Blur Icon - but doen't see the one that sets it for the shape /layer I am trying to affect. Below is a screenshot. Many thanks! BTW - I'm in CS6.

When opening Google Chrome, it automatically opens a blanck instance of Adobe Acrobat (outside of Chrome) I've changed settings in Chrome to not Automatically open but it keeps popping up. All searched tell you to change preferences to stop a pdf automatically opening, but this isn't the case, there's no pdf opening, just the program itself. Any tips would be appreciated.Cheers

HelloAfter upgrading to the latest version of Adobe Acrobat Reader DC (25.001.20630), I noticed that my signature image appears blurry, grayish, and discolored when viewing signed PDFs. This issue did not exist in previous versions, and the same PDFs display correctly in other viewers like Edge, Foxit, and Sumatra. Here are some details:The signature was created using the Therdpart tool.Printing the document also results in poor image quality.Disabling enhanced security settings did not resolve the issue. Is this a known issue with the latest Acrobat version? Are there any recommended fixes or workarounds?Any help or guidance would be greatly appreciated! I have attached the screenshot from the file layout  Thanks,Molameen

When exporting Lao and Khmer PDFs to Word, the ligatures appear to break and the text becomes unreadable. Here's an example: PDF: Exported Word doc: This happens in all fonts for these languages. I've been able to find virtually nothing about the cause of this online, except perhaps that the ToUnicode map (whatever that is) isn't being embedded in the PDF when it's exported from InDesign. For reasons I won't get into here, I absolutely have to have these documents in Word, as well as being fully accessible PDF forms with matching layouts. I'm grateful to hear from anyone who's experienced anything like this.

Hello all,I came across this while checking my programs installed. I have been having issues opening some PDF files from a Cloud service (BOX.com), after double-clicking the file Adobe Acrobat would open (the program) but it will not show the file I just opened. Now checking the installation is it using up 55GB of HDD space. any ideas or solutions of this, it is very abnormal for a simple adobe installation. How do I clear up this amount of space without uninstalling. Please let me know any reasons and solutions.Thank You all,

Okay so I know this is a total newby move so please be kind.  whenever I would upload files to lightroom they were being saved to my computer.  After a photo session I went to upload 800 photos.  Halfway through import my lightroom would no longer upload because it was full.  I realized I needed to store all the old photos from my lightroom and put them on my external hard drive.  I wasn't sure how to do this properly at the time so I just deleted all the photos from that current session out of lightroom so I could reupload them all together once I cleared some space.  I even deleted them out of the Lightroom folder on my finder. (They are now all in that same folder again in finder because deleting them did nothing)When I went to reupload them once other lightroom files files were stored the correct way on my external hard drive it would not let me hit the check box to upload them (As if they were already in lightroom. attaching a photo of what I mean) Th

I was hoping someone could help me with trying to delete specific objects that are text from multiple pages of a PDF.  They are essentially Batch Stamped numbers at the top right of the page.  I could manually delete them by using Edit PDF > selecting the object and hitting delete or go to the Content Pane in the navigation area and finding each object there and deleting but if it's thousands of pages, I don't to go to each page to do that.  I played around with Preflight and created a fixup but there were times were it removed more objects than expected and I couldn't tell what it removed.  So I have a few questions. 1.  Is there an easier way to just find all the Form XObjects > Select them then delete? 2.  If I do use Preflight Fixups, is there a way to specify a specific Font name?  I tried to type just Arial but it doesn't work, if I remove the font name criteria, the text size and TrueType checks work.  You can see the prope

Hello, I have a big problem, when exporting a file video, after the encoder had done his djob, while opening the new mp4 file, i have no sound at all. I'm on the trial version, is it because of that?

Hello! How can I make the logo/object at the bottom of this number become transparent? So you can "see through" the logo, replace the white with transparency.

Hello everyone, I hope there is a solution to this. Whenver I am hovering over any text in acrobat I get a pop-up message under the text. I cannot for the life of me figure out how to get this off, nor have I ever had this issue before. I hope there is a simple fix!

I'm not sure what's going on or if it only exists on the preview or will continue to the final render (and frankly I don't want to find out) but my scale attribute is activating before the keyframe. IE I say to scale down at 9.50 seconds and at 8.45 seconds it starts. I have tried remaking the keyframes but it does not change. I am also using time remapping in the frame, but the moments in the timeline shouldn't change. Does anyone know what is going on?

I'm so very confused right now and questioning my own sanity.  I swear I've done this hundreds of times and never had an issue before...I'm working on a comp right now where I have a Layer I want to make multiple copies of and move each one independent of each other.  Namely I'm trying to make a "trail" effect for a sort of Motion Blur on this.  However I cannot seem to edit them independently of each other.  No matter HOW I generate the Copy Layers, when I move one, they all move.  I've searched and tried every solution I can find but none are working.  I've converted the Layer to a Smart Object, then done "New Smart Object Via Copy".  I've copied the Smart Object then Rasterized the Layer.  I've simply dragged the Layer to the "New Layer" button (the way I'd normally do this) and no dice. I deselect all Layers.  Select ONLY the Layer I want to move, Move it, then when I let go of the Mouse, ALL the copied Layers move.  It is

i have designs with around 30 colours, with codes like these.  #009245 and #ec3744. The colours i use change a lot so i have to individually select all and group each color. I would like to know if there is already a script for grouping each color fill or adding each color fill to a different layer. I tried Meta to make one but it did not work :var doc = app.activeDocument;var items = doc.pageItems;var colors = {};for (var i = 0; i < items.length; i++) {var item = items[i];if (item.fillColor) {var color = item.fillColor.toString();var hexMatch = color.match(/(\w{6})/g);if (hexMatch) {var hexCode = hexMatch[0].toLowerCase();if (!colors[hexCode]) {colors[hexCode] = [];}colors[hexCode].push(item);}}}for (var hexCode in colors) {var layer = doc.layers.add();layer.name = hexCode;for (var j = 0; j < colors[hexCode].length; j++) {colors[hexCode][j].moveToBeginning(layer);}} Is there anything that is already made? I've searched but cant find anything that puts each co

慌ててIllustrator29.0へ戻しましたが、データは戻りません。

No idea if this post should go to discussion, or bugs - for me it's a bug and a serious one.Any advice is appriciated - as I'm loosing faith in LRC 😞First the tech specs of my hardware: Windows 11Ryzen 9 7950xRadeon RX 7900xt32GB RAM DDR5System drive NvME 256GB Kingston - where LRC and PS are installed. about 70GB free disk space (new firmware installed)Drive for RAW files, cache (20GB), and catalogue SSD 2TB.All options of performance tab using GPU checked for full support.LRC always at latest version - but the issue persists for several months already - so version doesn't change anything. Now the issue. It happens while editing in develop tab - usually when mooving sliders, or switching to next / previous photo. While doing any of theese actions, system drive gets 100% usage for about 1-2s and LRC freezes for that second or 2. Then LRC performs action (ex. changes the photo), and unfreezes. But when I change photo again, or move ex. exp slider / highlight or any oth

Hi friends!I need to format, within a par style ANY TEXT STRING that has before it - colon and space, and after it a period. So this would be - Yesterday it was: very hot outside. And we stayed insideSo the words "very hot outside." (Including the period but to the colon) get formatted with their own char style. Little by little I will hopefully understand how to do this ...ThanksSF
