Its been more than one week that im facing repetitive Firefly (Fill and expand function) error inside photoshop with this message:The service is not responding. please check your Internet connection and try again.I checked my Firewall (is off), sign out and in several times, and also made sure To disable Rosetta mode and run Photoshop natively on Apple Silicon (its Mac), but the function is very randomly working maybe 1 out of 10 tries. I still have credits and this problem didn't exist before.

Since today’s Photoshop 27.10 update, the “Edit in Photoshop” command in Lightroom Classic 15.5.1 is not working anymore for me. Photoshop opens automatically as before (if it’s not open yet) but no image is being loaded. Downgrading Photoshop to 27.9.1 resolves the issue and the “Edit in Photoshop” functionality is back to normal. I also tried to change the external editing file format from TIFF to PSD or PSB but this didn’t make any difference. Anyone else facing the same issue? I’m running macOS Tahoe 26.6.2. Closing and re-opening LRC and PS didn’t solve the problem, rebooting the machine also didn’t show any effect. P.S.: I posted this in the Photoshop forum as well

I’ve lost the "Apply" checkmark in the Photoshop options bar if I use the remove tool; instead, I now have a semicolon icon.Lost it in the PS version 27.10 and also in the Beta version 27.11To apply a remove I have to use the contextuel taskbar.I already reseted all tools and restarted the option bar.Is this how the option bar should look or is it a bug in my versions?Would apreciate some help with this

I’m an architectural visualiser.I often use the generative AI feature to bring realism to CGI’s. I use it to replace people’s faces/hair, plants, and so on. When it works, it’s superb.It’s not uncommon for me to be working on a swimming pool, or spa shot, where the security filters kick in and prevent me from using the AI in these scenarios (as if I’m trying to make pornography or something). The security literally prevents me from using the tool as it was designed to be used.There have also been cases with planting schemes where security features have inexplicably kicked in also - you can’t prompt for a hebe rakaiensis, for example?

Hallo, wollte mein Uralt Mac Book Pro 17” von 2009 mit dem 30” Bildschirm nochmal als Backup einsetzten. Zum Start habe ich die Tastenkombi >option+Apfel+R+P+On gedrückt gehalten. Jetzt geht der Photoshop CS6 leider nicht mehr. Bridge geht noch. Ich wollte wie bei meinem neueren MacBookPro den Arbeitsspeicher leeren mit der Tastenkombi, nur leider war das wohl eine nicht gültige Tastenkombi. Gäbe es eine Möglichkeit diesen Haken wieder auszuschalten. Die Lizenz für CS6.0  kommt über einen Kauf von CS5.5 oderso und regelmässige updates. Vielen Dank und gute Grüße Ralf Kruse

I reviewed the previous discussions and didn't see where I can download CS4 Extended. I have had CS4 for over 10 years and never heard of the Extended portion until tonight. Is this something that I can download for free? I am interested in the 3D aspects. I followed several of the links on Adobe and the links from this discussion and didn't see where I could download it. Is it still available? Does anyone have a verified and reliable link to where I can download CS4 Extended dor Windows 10? My CS4 is licensed and registered. Is there a fee associated with the Extended portion and if so, do you know how much it is? Thank you for your help. Tom

Since updating to Photoshop 27.3.1 shape layers have been behaving inconsistently. Running on Windows 11.I have multiple shape layers, all different colours, which I can manipulate fine individually. But, when I select multiple layers in the layers panel, all layers change to the colour of the lowest-most layer. This issue is inconsistent, sometimes layers behave as expected and other times they don’t.Also, some shape layers have text layers above them which are linked. If I move a shape layer, the text layer moves too as expected, but if I rotate the shape, the linked text doesn’t rotate.  I didn’t have either of these issues until I updated.Any help would be appreciated.

I have a brush I like to use with the Pattern Stamp Tool. I made a copy of it and unlocked it so it picks up the pattern I have selected. When I leave the tool it reverts back to locked. I have to go through the process of unlocking it again, if I forget it paints with the foreground color instead of the pattern selected. I want to set this copy to work with the Pattern Stamp Tool and not the Brush Tool. How do I do that?

Using the latest Photoshop 27.7 with Modern User Interface enabled, in the file dialog launched from Save for Web you cannot copy/paste text into the file name. Also when you hit the escape key to cancel the file dialog and return to Save for Web screen, hitting escape a second time does not close out of Save for Web but command-period still does. If you avoid trying to copy/paste text the escape key still works correctly. Disabling Modern User Interface returns all the expected behavior. For a company that charges an exorbitant premium subscription fee, their software stability is a absolute joke. A routine update completely destroyed the core Lightroom-to-Photoshop handshake workflow, rendering the standard 'Edit in Photoshop' feature entirely useless.When you try to bypass their broken code pathways, you are met with flat, washed-out color profiles that fail to render correctly even when manually assigning the proper color spaces. Adobe clearly does not test their systems properly before forcing updates onto paying users. They are using their consumer base as live guinea pigs for broken code.Instead of saving professionals time, Adobe’s lack of quality control turns simple, two-minute edits into hours of grueling tech support. It is completely incompetent, frustrating, and unacceptable for software that is supposed to be the industry standard. Can someone with actual technical knowledge of Photoshop explain what has changed internally with Artboards in recent versions?I am not looking for generic troubleshooting steps. I am trying to understand the technical reason behind what appears to be a significant performance regression in Photoshop's Artboard implementation.The problemIn Photoshop Beta and recent Photoshop releases, basic Artboard operations are extremely slow. Creating a new Artboard can freeze the entire Photoshop UI for several seconds. Deleting an Artboard can freeze Photoshop for several seconds.
