Pretty much what the title already says, sometimes Premiere loads up and reads the waveform (that wheel on top-right corner) but now it simply doesn’t read any audios from the videos I’m working on. Things that I already tried to fix the problem:Sequence - Render Audio Reset preferences  Delete Peak Files Check and unchecking Show Audio WaveformKeep in mind that the issues only shows up with Premiere 26 since I tried working on the 25 and it the waveform showed up there, so I think maybe Premiere 26 have some kind of weird bug to read audio files? Any suggestions to what I could do to get the waveform back? 

Looking for a best-practice workflow question here. I have a sit-down interview clip (camera video + scratch audio), and I recorded clean lav audio separately to internal storage (DJI Mic 2). I manually synced the lav WAV files to the camera clip in the timeline. So in my sequence, I now have:  1 video clip (camera) Multiple synced lav audio tracks underneath (muted scratch audio) Everything lined up and working properly   Now I’m trying to organize my project better. What I want: I’d like to create some kind of “container” in the Project panel where this synced setup lives as one reusable item — so I can:  Put it into bins (e.g., “Sit-Down Interviews,” “Walk-and-Talks,” etc.) Drag it into new timelines Have all the synced audio tracks follow automatically Avoid exporting or rendering new media if possible   Basically: I want to treat this synced setup like a single reusable master clip that I can drop into other sequences. What’s the cleanest, most professional way to do thi

Issue: Text keeps bugging and sometimes crashing Premiere 2026 when trying to edit the Font (any Font) or Font Size. Sometimes the Text flickers & disappears in the Project/Source Monitor when said changes are made, sometimes the whole program freezes & crashes.Steps to reproduce:1. Open Project2. Create Text Layer in Sequence with Text Tool OR edit coped & pasted Text Layer3. Click on Textbox within viewing monitor to edit or start typing text4. Type Text5. Select Text6. Select search in Attributes Window (OR change font size)7. I am using the New Premiere (v26.0) version. I am unable to add any transitions from the Film Impact Dashboard. When i try to apply it between two clips, it gives me the following message: "Transition not applied on all clips or sides". Is anyone else experiencing this issue?

Issue – The last 2 versions of Premiere (at least) have had issues with WAV files playing, and after trying many different things to fix it, I’m sure it must be a bug in the software introduced with the updates. When importing WAV files into the timeline they will play for a while, and then after short period, or a few moves of the playhead, they will stop. In text based editing, transcribing does not recognise that there is any audio there at all. Opening old files that had perfectly functioning audio previously, now plays no audio despite the files still being there. Adobe can find the files on my PC (I checked through reveal in explorer), and clearing the media cache and resetting to default settings has not changed this. The files do not work when using render and replace, or if opened in Audition from Premiere.MP4 and MP3 sound work fine. I have a handful of presets that zoom or pan that I like to make minor changes to depending on the video. After updating to 26.0 changing the scale value under these presets will change the key frames back to linear and completely mess up the zoom. Is there a way to turn this off in the preferences, or maybe a way to prevent it from happening?

I’ve got a vertical video I went to add into a sequence. Originally, I duplicated my original sequence (a different iteration of the video, no major differences), deleted the old clips, and then added in the new video. When I pulled it into the sequence, the audio only played back out of my left channel. I tried a fill right with left - no go. I tried panning the audio - no go. Note, I have data in the left and right channels on my clip. It’s just only playing one. I created a brand new sequence, and pulled in a clip, and told it to match to clip settings. Same problem - only the left channel was playing back. At this point, I’ve checked all my sequence settings to make sure they’re correct, double checked the audio settings on the clip to be stereo and mapped properly, and checked my headphones. Hello! I'm running into a problem where after using the Auto Transcription feature in the Text window, my clips source timecode is "changed." I believe it to be a visual bug: For example, my audio clip's start TC is 10:34:34:00, yet after transcribing, it shows incorrectly as 13:13:16:06 in both the Media Start column of the project panel and in the Source panel. However, it shows correctly 10:34:34:00 when hovering over the same clip in a sequence. This happens in both Premiere v24.6.5 (Build 3) and in v25.2.3 (Build 4). Saving and closing the project fixes this visual bug in v24, but not in v25. I'm currently transcribing clips in v24, converting the project to v25 to have clips show the correct source TC in v25.

Hi Adobe,I’ve already rolled back to Premiere Pro 2024 because the 2025 version is, frankly, unusable for professional work. It’s bloated with half-baked AI features nobody asked for, and the core editing experience has taken a massive hit in stability and performance. If I wanted TikTok-style auto-edits and AI junk, I’d be using CapCut for free.What I actually need is a fast, reliable, predictable editing platform that respects my workflow. Not experimental tools shoved into the UI at the expense of speed and precision.This constant push to reinvent the wheel every year without listening to your core user base is exhausting. Please stop prioritizing gimmicks over functionality.At the very least, make older, stable versions more easily accessible. And listen to the editors who made Premiere what it is not the marketing buzzwords.P.S. I'm just one more frustrated user, watching Adobe get worse every single year.

I’m working in Premiere Production in v25.6.3. The “Make a Copy” function in the production panel is making copies of projects that have duplicate IDs. This is now how it worked in previous versions. I’m not sure what’s causing it, but without “Make a Copy” I haven’t found a way to make copies besides just making new projects from scratch and copying content from the old version to the new version. Make a copy is causing a lot of duplicate IDs. Thank you.

This is one of the most frustrating things I've encountered from Adobe Premiere. The Dynamic Link breaks every time I save a project in After Effects. I will save my "linked" After Effects project, go back to Premiere and it breaks the link EVERY TIME. This has been going on so long I just re-link it every time and say "Im switching to Da Vinci". I have the most up to date Premiere and After Effects.    This doesn't happen just once, or right after I open the program. No names are changed, no locations of projects or files change, just every time I hit save....boom, Premiere blows up.   This is unacceptable from a company like Adobe and I can't believe this hasn't been fixed.    See link. BUT, I’m intrigued by the promise of the ai overlords offering their agentic coding. I’ve been chatting it up with Claude to help me write some automated processes, and we’ve hit wall after wall. The Track Mate Key plugin uses the alpha or luminance information of one clip to key or matte another clip in the same position in the timeline.In previous versions of PP the key clip’s position, size or rotation etc could be animated, and this would flow through to affect the matte for the other clip. The key clip could be trimmed and this had no bearing on the keyframes.Now in 2026.0.1 the Track Matte key plug-in does not recognise that the source clip has been trimmed and offsets the keys as if the clip is untrimmed. This shifts the values of the keyframes out of sync with the timeline, making keyframing the matte clip with Track Matte Key unusable. Please can this be fixed for the next PP update. Thanks, Tom  

Hello !The new Stroke effect (from film impact) is great but don’t work as it should (at least in my opinion)It seems that without that pre-scale settings, the stroke don’t appear (unless your crop, see in red, the rounded crop). It’s not really easy to manage, i need to adjust the prescale and border size each time to have something clean, and even with that, it’s often not perfect.Why it’s not just an outline of the current size, like the drop shadow, a outline adding ? Would be cool if it can be in this way.Thanks !  

Frame.io v4 panel opens and I when I select “Get Started” to login into my Frame.io account. It just gets stuck at “Authenticating... Please continue in browser”. It would normally open up my broswer to authenicate, but it is not doing that now. It was working like normal in Premiere 2025 or the previous version. Is anyone else having this problem and is there a solution to this?

I have issues with exporting clips I edited some months ago. I have these issues in Premiere Pro as well as with the Media Encoder.   Interestingly, Premiere and Encoder are sometimes able to render the clips, sometimes not. When I export the material in full HD, the video looks OK, but when I export in HD the video looks grainy When the Media Encoder is unable to render the video, closing & reopening seems to help sometimes.
