That is just a Cross Dissolve Transition. ie a Cut in the clip with a transition. Probably cutting around a glitch.

The latest version of PPro now has two methods of making Tiltle. One is the old Legacy Method that will correspond to your tutorials. Its in the Menu Bar. Create New Legacy Title.

Have to admit..I had to seek and find it first time I needed it...and then I wondered why and what was the point of changing it! Not like the Tool Panel was loaded with Tools and there was plenty of room for them all what ever.

By the way, I solved the issue myself, thank you very kindly. Despite your disdain for these boards....some one else maybe interested in how you solved the issue. Share I had hoped an update would not wipe out the basic structural elements of my edit platform. Time and time again, it does. Never had that happen to me...EVER...and never read of it it happening ether.

It is unlikely you were told to "delete your footage". Maybe "clear" it or "offline it" from the existing project. (ie Bins) How did you delete it?

None of them have got near Premiere That was my experience as well...until Resolve 14. I will be trying it on my current project. Will cut it in PPro first so that I have a valid comparison. The learning curve will be fun!!!

I would like to think that Resolve (EDITING) works as well as advertised and I have trialed the progress of the releases from the start. None of them have got near Premiere...which for me.. always works.

What we (think we) know: AVCHD files are hard on the system and suck in the color-grading phase. Have you tried this in your system for your self. AVCHD works fine for me ..as does ,mov DNxHD and MXF. I have never tried Cineform but assume it would be fine. Fact 4:2:2 does grade better than 4:2:0

What does the Snap Graphics Icon for the Program Window do? I am hoping its some kind of function option that allows one to choose when to apply a Graphics Clip to the Sequence instead of it instantly / automatically doing so on the uppermost layer. (Which I dont like!!!) FWIW - Have only spent a short time with this new ESG and need to do a concentrated session with it. After 25 years of the other way...this is kind of interesting. Hope it develops somewhat. eg Rulers and moveable guide lines would have been good. (and obvious) Feels like I am ducking and diving to find tools now as they are spread out in the panels . eg Centering functions Is there a way to change the rotation point of a text or object. Pin point seems to be fixed.

You work out how log you want each image to hold on screen for. eg 3 seconds each. You work out what your frame rate is in your Sequence eg 25 fps. 25 fps x 3 seconds = 75 frames for each image Select all the images in the Bin and Modify Speed Duration ( 75 frames / 3 seconds). Automate to Sequence your selection.

Premiere Pro should have an easy fix especially since out of the box it comes not well. Its called make up...but I suggest ...you have a badly set up monitor. Premiere Pro is a pro tool that has no problem representing accurate color and tone.

1 Force touch on 2016 MacBook Pro goes havoc in Premiere, needs to be disabled. 2 Maximize window button has no effect, same with most Adobe apps 3 The buttons for soundclip (ie Mute etc ) is hidden in Premiere. 1. I dont know what 1 is? 2. Thats a problem unique to you...works for most everyone else. Never heard of that issue. 3. I can see Mute and Solo Buttons in your screen grab.
