Premiere automatically replaces a deleted video file with another file with the same name found in other folders on the drive. More details. I was given two flash drives containing video from different cameras, even from different shooting days. But the file names in the folders are the same. Both are Sony cameras. The files in the first folder start with C001, and the files on the second flash drive also start with C001. I import these files into Premiere. All the files are in different folders. Each camera has its own Composition (Sequence). I start editing. I find the defective shots and immediately delete these files from the computer drive so they don't take up space. Previously, Premiere would immediately display an error that the file is now unavailable (it can't find the file), and Premiere would open a window asking me to find the file manually. I see which files it can't find and then simply delete them from the project. But now Premiere simply replaces the deleted file from

프리미어 프로 사용시 이전에는 자막 템플릿 각각 사용시 각 저장된 폰트와 컬러로 글귀 수정이 가능했으나 이제는 이전 사용 폰트와 컬러로 자동 변경됨. 새 시퀸스로 하든 자막을 새로 만들든 똑같음.  

IN version 25.6.4 and version 26 if we put an audio in timeline it repeat itself . full song not playable and that song works fine in older version same time . tried to clean cache and etc files bt none of worked , tired of this bug . please help me asap. thank you 

Using Izotope Nectar 2 plugin (AU version).  When opening the plugin, it only opens a grey window.This is new for PP2026 and PP2026.0.1.  PP2025 works fine.I am on OSX 26.2 (25C56)  

I considered sending this as a feature request, but the inability to link mono and stereo audio tracks feels more like a bug than anything else. There seems to be no reason why I can’t link different types of audio tracks, but if I have a video track, a stereo track and a mono track, PPro refuses to let me link them, for no apparent reason.

I’m trying to composite graphics footage created in After Effects in a premier timeline and I’m getting horrible ghosting effects on my graphics. I’ve tried rendering with straight and premultiplied alpha channels but it's still horrible so much so our client picked up on it. The files are rendered out as ProRes 4444. Any ideas would be welcome. 

I have very slow exporting using a J2K export plugin in Premiere Pro 26 under Windows 11Previous version of Premiere Pro (25) works as always.As a example, a encoding of a feature film that will take bout 6 hours in Premiere Pro 25, Premiere Pro 26 says 14 hours!.The author of the plugin says to me that "That's strange. When I play the video it takes a while to appear, I think there are conflicts with the cache files, even though I already restarted the Mac, uninstalled and reinstalled Premiere, and still get the same error

Issue – I cannot seem to get the Responsive Design-Position to work when trying to pin a shape to text. I’ve tried multiple times, restarted computer and Premiere... Steps to reproduce – I create a text layer, inside properties I create a shape and then restack the shape to be below the text. I select the shape and scroll down to RD-P and select the text I want to pin to and hit the PLUS shaped pin to corner button to the right. The X and Y axis numbers change, but the box doesn’t change shape or size and when I type more text the box doesn’t change size to accommodate text.  Expected result – The color shape box should change size to the size of the amount of text and change size if text goes beyond border of the box. Actual result – Nothing. The box doesn’t change size.   Adobe Premiere Pro version – 26.0.0 Operating system – Mac OS Seq 15.7.3 GPU driver version (Windows only) – If you're on Windows, please let us know what version of the video card (GPU) driver you are using.  Video

I have Premiere set to save the cache in my D drive. I’ve had this set this way for some time and never had an issue since I did it.Today, the program keeps saving on my C drive, in the public folder for some unknown reason, even though it’s still set to put those files in my D drive in a set cache folder. 

Hello,We have developed for my company (a digital media) a whole series of MOGRT templates created with After Effects CC 2025.Each template is very complex. It allows the user to select: a brand (which affects the template colors), a language among 9 available (which affects the called font, kerning, leading, etc.), a format (16:9 or 9:16), and then template-specific parameters (text input fields, X/Y position offsets, safe zone display, etc.). I'm running 25.4.1 and I am not able to import an XML from Resolve. When I try to import the file I get an error message without any details or explanation.   Has anyone else run into that lately?

On an M3 MacBook Pro, Premiere 2025. macOS Sequoia 15The window that opens after clicking "Locate" on the Link Media window is mostly empty space, unable to be expanded/adjusted, and very difficult to navigate. When working on multiple projects, starting a new project, handling media, etc, this window is frequently used, and is very annoying to use like this when handling hundreds of files:  

Here on my systems with RTX 5060TI and 5070 GPUs, yesterday I was editing a conference filmed in 4K, just over 130 minutes long. Exporting in Full HD took over 120 minutes, and this morning, exporting the same project in 4K with the camera's standard codec took much less time, just over 48 minutes. It seems that Premiere's optimization for Full HD is not working well; the performance is much worse than in 4K. Considering that 4K is a heavier file, it should be slower, and Full HD, which is lighter, should export faster.

A really useful tool in Premiere has always been the ability to click and hold a clip on the timeline, then use the “-” and “=” keyboard shortcuts to zoom in and out to make dragging the clip around the timeline much faster.After upgrading my mouse to the Logi MX Master 4, I’ve discovered a very strange and specific bug. Using the MX Master 4 feature of the Action Ring in any other application to specifically “Paste Text” (a built-in customization), then returning to Premiere, the ability to zoom in and out when dragging clips on the timeline no longer functions. If I click and hold, I can zoom, but if I click, hold and move the clip a little, I can no longer zoom. Resetting Premiere app settings does not resolve the issue, but restarting the computer does. Any attempt to paste predetermined text using the MX Master 4 action ring breaks the Premiere feature again. No other Action Ring function appears to replicate the issue thus far, only the “Paste Text” function found in the Action R

Link Media shortkey/shortcut does not work. Only when doing it manual with your mouse it works. This happens since a particular update in version 25. I am using version 26.0 now. OS system: MacSteps to reproduce: just set a shortkey (for example command + L) on relink media and you will see it does not work. 

First of all, to clear this out, here’s the screenshot:So you can see the program files VST plugins folder is included in the search. But Premiere Pro find nothing there, and shows only the VSTs found in the COMMON folder. I certainly can copy the plugin files there, but I don’t want to.Here are the contents of my VST folder:… with the corresponding VST modules inside. And here’s the plugin not seen by Premiere Pro inside Davinci Resolve (Supertone is there too): And I hit Rescan several times, checked and unchecked the force rescan and so on. A bug that is.

This doesn’t happen during every session, but from time to time the mouse cursor does not do what I am trying to do.  When I am chagning a value by moving the mouse sideways, it highlights the numbers instead of changing them.  And when I try to lasso something it just won’t do it.  After about five seconds it will then act as intended, and then about five seconds later will not.  Sometime re-launching makes it go away, but not everytime.  This is only happening in Premier and no other Adobe apps or in the OS.I’m in the middle of several projects and I don’t want to update yet.V 25.6.4Mac OS 15.7.1M1 chip

PingFang SC font is an original font of macOS system. Other fonts can be displayed in Premiere Pro, but Pingfang font cannot be displayed. I have tried to roll back to version 25.1, and this font（PingFang SC） can be displayed normally. I hope this issue can be fixed in the next version.

On a video im using multiple lumetri effects to color my image. I use masks to select the subject, add shadows etc. When I scale the video AFTER doing all of my lumetri effects, the masks assigned to the lumetri effects dont scale. 

In the 2021 Premiere Pro version, I used to be able to clear a marker while the video is playing. But I can’t do that in Premiere 2026.Can this be fixed please?
