I have an on-going issue with the Marker and Text Panels. This has occured in the past versions of premiere but I am on the most current version. I have attached a video of the Marker and Text panels glitching out. The Text Panel is flickers from <Type your caption here> to the Transcript, Jumping to the Start of the transcript, and back to the Playhead. On the left, the Marker panel flickers and I try to type but the issue occurs. For the Marker Panel - I am unable to enter data directly into the panel. The panel flickers and the data entry field resets every 1/4 second. If I attempt to type anything in the comment section, the panel will flicker, selecting all the text in the comment section, which gets deleted and replaced with what I'm typing. If i try to enter text in the Name column, it flickers and unselects the data entry field and all my keystrokes revert to their keybindings (Example: If i try to type the words 'bad' in the Marker Name column - it would deslec
The font is installed! EVERY single time I open my project there's a problem with the font. I have to go through a while process of quitting everything and opening in a specific order to get the Adobe app to accept that the font I installed through Adobe creative cloud is actually installed. Then magically the font is resolvable. There doesn't seem to be a way of making Media Encoder accept that the font is installed, so all exports have to be done through PP.
In Premiere Pro 25.6.x, editing a text layer inside a Graphic causes the font size to automatically change to match another text layer in the same Graphic, even when “Linked Style” is set to None. This makes basic text editing extremely frustrating, and the only workaround is to either leave a character from the old text or create each text layer in a separate group. Both approaches are inefficient and disrupt workflow.Premiere Pro is expensive software, with prices increasing recently, yet this bug significantly impairs basic functionality. Users expect reliable, professional-grade tools, and this issue makes normal work with text graphics very difficult. Please prioritize a fix for this problem.
Hi.Premiere 25.6.3 on a Macbook Pro M1 Max - MacOS 14.8.1When enabling overlays for transmit, you no longer see the gaps as black video, but instead a frozen image of the last frame's clip before the gap. This is disturbing! Thanks.Max
Just like it says in the subject. Premiere 25.63 on Mac OS 13.5.2. Working on some long 3 camera multiclips.
What happened!?

When I have my preview window set to fit, the tools to scale in the window do not appear. They appear when I zoom in at all, but this isn't useful because I dont want to edit my video zoomed in 10%. Is there a way to fix this or do I have to edit my entire video zoomed in 10%?
I have a PP production that crashes everytime I try to edit the title of a clip in the Project panel. I'm using PP 25.6.3 though this occurred in earlier versions of 25 also. I'm on an M4 Mac Studio running 15.6.1. The media cache is stored on my local hard drive and the editing media is stored on a QNAP NAS. I have edited big projects on this same computer and NAS configuration in the past. I have a ton of media loaded into my "Media" project within the production and have a variety of issues with media taking a long time to load or not loading at all and having to be reconnected. (No, I cannot break up the media and import it into separate smaller projects and I shouldn't have to). I've deleted the media cache a number of times, restarted the computer, and updated PP. Each time PP crashes, I restart it and it is able to recover the latest version of the projects. It takes anywhere between 10 minutes and 3 hours to reload the 20 or so terabytes of media so that I can try to work again
I do a lot of work between Photoshop and Premiere. Creating layers in photoshop, then importing them into Premiere.I work on a laptop, it's a high specification and about a year old. When I import Photoshop documents, the layers are stacked on the timeline to that I can introduce and animate these layers on the Premiere timeline. Been doing this for years without issues, until my Premiere automatically upgraded from version 25.5.0... I'm unable to export these projects without the 'software rendering' option. One of the below happens during export:1) Whilst exporting, Premiere just freezes, CPU usage stops and it's obviously stopped exporting. I can click cancel, but can never export the project.2) If I leave it long enough, sometimes an error appears "Accelerated Renderer Error - unable to product frame, around timeline: XX:XX" which is always the multi layering parts of the video. After a lot of research, I use the 'software rendering' option, which W
So i had version 25.6 and version 25.6.2 was released and i decided to update, after the update i enter the program no problem started new project added the video files and i started to edit, after i look into the files to add them to sqeuence it crashed. Started again instant crash when i enter into project, started again works fine i look into the video files crashes, i downgraded same, downgrade to v25 the same, entered a new project that worked before the same, started a new project the same. Cleared everything, reinstalled and so on the same. Installed v24 works fine, installed again v25 crashes. So what is the point of paying if every new version is horrilble and the updates are the same as when it was CS with no subscription? Also version v25.6 when i added a mp3 file like music most of the time the audio didnt exist, i had to restart the program to have the sound on that file and sometimes it just cuts after 4 seconds where it dit work fine and i had to re
Premiere Pro doesn't support the same layout for the PF_EventExtra structure when invoking plugins based on the AE SDK to handle events in teh Layer or Comp windows. In After Effects, by virtue of uncommenting a macro in the SDK headers, plugins can access the context-specific PF_WindowUnion when processing events for the Layer and Comp windows. Crucially, this gives a plugin access to the PF_ItemWindowInfo->portRect member, the only sanctioned method to know the current viewport coordinates. In Premiere Pro, if a plugin attempts to access that same structure, it is clearly filled with the wrong information, suggesting that the PF_USE_NEW_WINDOW_UNION is indeed After Effects-only. Lacking this vital piece of information, plugins in Premiere Pro are forced to use a rather unorthodox approach. When handling a draw event, the PF_DrawEventInfo->update_rect member appears to containt coordinates for the viewport, which need to be cached and reused when process
Premiere Pro ignores 3rd party plugins that change PF_PUI_INVISIBLE and PF_PUI_DISABLED flags in response to parameter value changes to implement context-sensitive UI (aka dynamic parameter UI) if said plugin makes the change while handling events for custom on-screen controls in the Layer or Comp windows. Steps to reproduce:- Download FxFactory 9 https://fxfactory.com/download/ - Launch FxFactory and install our FxFactory Pro plugins- Launch Premiere Pro- Apply the Trackable PiP plugin, found under the FxFactory Pro Video plugins group:- In the inspector, look at the Configuration parameter:- Click the Manual vs Object Tracker options, and notice how the plugin is changing PF_PUI_INVISIBLE and PF_PUI_DISABLED flags on a set of dependent parameters, to ensure the correct context-sensitive UI is displayed:- Now select the effect header to display its custom on-screen controls:- Notice that the on-screen controls provide some custom UI to change the same Configuration parameter, on-scree
Load a large project, edit for a while, try to exit premiere: premiere hangs. Need to close in task manager. This has been happening since 25.x and is still happening in 25.6.3windows 11 pro 25H2 I have decided to log here every bug and annoyance that I have been working around recently and for years, I'm not spamming, but there may be a few
I saved as, saved my project and manually saved as i went to ensure my project was saved. When i went to lunch I closed the project. I repopned it using the saved file and the timeline was blank. Media was saved into the media bin but the timeline sequence was blank and i lost all of my work. This ha snow happened twice - me thinking the first time was a me error. I have checked through autosaves and checked the media bin, it was gone. I have spoken with an agent and tried to find it, it is gone. The saved file does technically exist but the timeline just dissapeared. Ive tried a third test as advised my the agent, and it has done it again. The file saves, but the media within the timeline sequence is gone.
When a 3rd party plugin based on the AE SDK advertises custom UI in the Layer and Comp windows, Premiere Pro will hide custom UI immediately after handling a parameter value change on behalf of the plugin. One of the more obvious goals of custom on-screen controls is to allow users to tweak parameter values through a more approachable UI. Premiere Pro makes it impossible to do so for transitions, as the custom on-screen controls are hidden immediately after a change occurs. Steps to reproduce:- Install FxFactory 9: https://fxfactory.com/download/- Download and install the Block Party transition via FxFactory- Launch Premiere and add the Block Party transition in between two clips: - Select the effect name in the inspector to display its custom on-screen UI:- When the on-screen controls appear, click one of the two controls that allow you to switch grid style or shape of each block: - Notice that immediately after clicking the control, Premiere Pro hides all on-screen UI for that plugin
I'm on Premiere 25.6.2 on an M4 Max MacBook Pro.When I launch Premiere, I get an error message "Sorry, an error occured." This error message happens twice in a row but I can click "Send report" both times and continue to opening a project. I've verified that this only happens when I have an HDMI display attached to my MacBook Pro.I have tried resetting all settings and preferences by holding down a modifier key while launching Premiere. This does not solve the issue.
Installed the insta360 plugin. Loaded an existing project that contained insv files and others.Originally found that this stopped nikon raw files from loading, but then noticed canon c80 files were not loading either. They were not reported as missing media - they simply appeared in the project as offline.I have reported this to insta360 and have heard nothing back. Could anyone confirm this behavior? This happened in 25.6.x and in beta 26.0
I have been working on a project for over a month now and yesterday all of a sudden the button Generating peaking just kept on going, unabling me to work on the project. This morning I updated to the new version, but still the same. I opened my project at 10.00 this morning and now at 13.20 it is still running. Project of only 7 minutes. How can I stop this?
I have a multicam sequence and want to add a morph cut effect to a cut point. Didn't work on the multicam clip, so I flattened the clips and tried to add it to those. It says "Analyzing in Background" but the effect doesn't render and it doesn't show any of the effect settings in the Effect Controls and "Analyze" is greyed out. PP 25.6.3MacOS 14.7.1
Hi all, I keep getting this error when trying to track gaussian blur and when masking. I read a couple other identical posts with suggestions that don't seem to be the solution. I've noticed that it will happen randomly and inconsistently. Sometimes the tracking works without issue, other times the process will stall and I get this message. Computer specs:Apple M4 16 GB RAMmacOS Sequoia 15.5245 GB of storage (with 20 available right now)Premiere Pro 25.6.2 (build 1) Has anyone encountered this and found a fix? Cheers,Maximus
Hi all, I know this is a classic problem and can commonly trip up new users, of which I am a member, but I've looked up all the common solutions and am still having problems. I have made sure I've selected what I want to export, re-rendered it, reset my preferences and cleared the cache, moved it to a new file and restarted my PC. I only installed the software yesterday so there's no updates on creative cloud either. Yet still, the app refuses to even open the export window, let alone actually export anything. Can anyone help?
I’m reporting a repeatable HEVC export failure in Premiere Pro that persists despite extensive troubleshooting and is not related to captions, effects, or corrupt media. Issue Summary Premiere Pro fails to complete HEVC (H.265) export at the final frame of a long timeline, consistently returning Error Code 39 (“Error finishing encode”). The failure always occurs during end-of-file finalization, regardless of timeline adjustments. Project Context Platform: macOS (Mac Studio) Timeline: ~2+ hours, UHD 3840×2160, Rec.709 Export format: HEVC (H.265), Main10 Encoding tested: Software and Hardware Bitrate tested: Multiple VBR settings Timeline content: Fully pre-rendered clips with subtitles already burned in Final sequence: Simple stitching only (cuts, no effects, no captions, no overlays) Observed Behavior Export always fails at or one frame before the end of the timeline Trimming clips or adding black frames only shifts the reported timecode; failure remains at the end
When attempting to export or import, Premiere Version 25.6.3 Build 2 acts like the window has been opened to select either a file to import or a location to export but the window is not there. The software is stuck waiting for a response that is impossible to execute. I have to open the Task Manager and End It. It happens at random and it happens every day. Computer is a Dell 11th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i9-11900 @ 2.50GHz (2.50 GHz) Extremely frustrating.
