When using lightroom, scrolling up and down using a trackpad has severe input lag which causes the scrolling inputs to be deleyed by 1s or so. This makes scrolling is very unpredictable, meaning quickly navigating controls on the edit page, scrolling through the library and navigating the thumnail strip becomes extremely tedious and slow. The issue seems to be related to scroll inertia when using the track pad and while I am unable to test it with a mouse, dragging the scroll bar is very responsive.  I am using an M1 Pro MacBook Pro (32GB Ram) and lightroom runs quickly despite this issue so I know it is not performance related. This also appears to be a relatively new issue as I have not had problems with this in the past on this device.

When exporting a JPEG from Lightroom, you can attach your name, social media handle, and a list of edits via a digital signature.   You can find the option to apply Content Credentials while exporting a JPEG in the export panel. It is, by default, turned OFF.

I don’t have a question but since for some reason “Feedback” brings me to a troubleshooting page, I think you have some things confused. So, some feedback I have is that I miss the Loupe mode that Lightroom “Classic’ had where I could see image settings on my phone. Having to pull up a separate pane to see this sucks. Maybe I’m the only one that thinks this, but I’m trying to provide some feedback. Just another feature that got removed from the best version of Lightroom before Cloud BS took over. 

In the iOS Lightroom app in the “share photo” screen, “Save Copy to Device” and “Export As” both cause a loading screen to appear very briefly and then immediately disappear. If I hit the settings cog to the right of “Save copy to device” I can change my export settings normally, but when I actually go to share the photos that loading window pops up and disappears but no export happens. It works properly on my iPad (M4 13” Pro). I have verified I’m using the latest version of Lightroom on my iPhone. This issue has persisted for several weeks at least, probably longer. 

I am trying to have students invite me to their albums with edit privileges with a weblink from Lightroom for the web. I can see how they Invite with edit privileges by email. They can click the Invite button, change the dropdown to “Can Edit” and send me an email. But, I do not want 90 emails. I want to do this by link so they can paste that link into Canvas. But when I do the share with just the Copy Link , it is view only and I do not see a pop down control to change that to “Can edit”

After the April 2026 update, the search function seems to have (somehow) gotten worse. I know that the update says it addresses search problems but it seems to have broken things.In all of my photos in Lightroom, I identify people by name and put them into the captions. Prior to this, I could search lightroom and all of this person’s photos would show up. Suddenly I am getting the most BIZARRE results when searching people’s names. The name “Cait” brings back a ton of cat pictures for example - i guess it thinks i am looking for cats? Not everything needs AI. My entire workflow has been disrupted by this, does anyone know how to fix this?

I keep getting this error: "Catch in IPhotoshopApplication, exception encountered: Failed to create enviroment config: photoshop_exception"  I do not know how to fix it ive tried to reinstall it as well as my video card driver and nothing seems to work for me. Any suggestions are welcome

System : CPU: Intel Core i9-14900K GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 RAM: 64GB DDR5 (2x32GB) Motherboard: Gigabyte Z790 AORUS PRO X WIFI 7 (BIOS Date: May 27, 2025) OS: Windows 11 My system experienced repeated hard freezes (requiring a physical forced reboot) exclusively when using Adobe Lightroom. The crashes occurred regardless of whether GPU acceleration was enabled or disabled, whether studio or game drivers were used, with RAM XMP enabled or not, etc…The true cause was identified via the Windows Event Viewer. Immediately preceding the critical system shutdown (Event ID 41: Kernel-Power), Windows logged the following driver failure:The driver \Driver\WUDFd failed to load, Device : Root\Display\0000 Status:: 0xC0000365This lead me to believe this was an issue arising from Lightroom interacting with display drivers and, indeed, after deleting the parsec (Remote Desktop app) virtual display driver the issue completely disappeared.

Eu troquei de celular recentemente. Instalei novamente o ligthroom. Os presets vieram junto com o backup .   Mas quando eu edito uma foto antes e depois coloco o preset depois ela volta a ter a edição original da foto. Mesmo nas fotos que já foram editadas anteriormente da troca do meu celular.Isso acontece dentro do app. E também quando coloco o preset, a bolinha que fica debaixo  baixo do ícone não aparece. 

I have an old iPad that does not go higher than ios17, I would like to download lightroom mobile but I get a message that I need ios18 or higher to do that. Is there a way to install an order version of Lightroom?

I am using Lightroom Classic 15.3 and Lightroom (Cloud-based) 9.I regularly take high-resolution landscape images (Sony a6300, ARW format) and merge them into panoramas. When I try to merge many RAW images (around 80), I occasionally get the error: "Unable to merge".If I then select other adjacent images from the same photo set, the merge may succeed or fail. I'm not sure what causes the failure or what the requirements are for a successful merge.I would be happy to provide sample RAW files to help reproduce the issue.My setup:Windows 10NVIDIA RTX 409096 GB RAM  

I switched catalogs last year and have been unable to use the cloud portion of Lightroom. I haven’t sync’d my catalog because there are a lot of photos I don’t have access to any more that are sync’d currently. I found out about Adobe Lightroom Downloader and was able to see the process and get it started. Well it turns out…“Your Lightroom account contains 811,487 photos, 1 videos, 0 deleted photos, and 0 deleted videos totaling 21.0 TB. Choose a download destination that has enough free space to hold these files.” I’ve seen people complain about 870GB download speeds… Is there a best practice to this? Any tips and info would be super helpful for a download of this size.

In Adobe Lightroom, the left sidebar under the Albums section does not display the full names of albums when the album names are longer. When you create a path with the pen tool, then choose Stroke Path you get the Storke Path options. This defaults to the Healing Brush. When you click ‘OK’ an error message pops up stating:  “Could not use the Healing Brush because the area to clone has not been defined.” Obviously, the Healing Brush does not need to define a sample area prior to working. Can you please fix? This worked for 20 years. it’s been broken for over 2 years. Thank you for your time. 

After rotating a radial mask (~25° or more), moving the mask causes it to increase in size with each drag. Translation appears to trigger scaling, making the mask impossible to control.Occurs on macOS using a trackpad (Lightroom Desktop 9.2 and 9.3). no me aparece marcada la opción seleccionar todo en lightroom

Over the past 3 days, lightroom mobile does not work, period. It won't add photos from my photos app, and any photos that are in there are unable to be edited. All I get is the spinning wheel.It also will not export any photos. Basically it is unusable. I am using the latest Android version, on a pixel 10 pro XL.Look forward to hearing feedback and how the issue can be rectified 

When I go to move a slider like contrast for example, I typically click and hold somewhere on that slider that doesn’t cover the circle so I can see where it’s moving, but when I let go now the value jumps usually by around 5. So I click and drag with my finger starting on the line (not the circle), I drag my finger to let’s say +6 contrast, and when I let go it jumps to +11. Doesn’t happen when I click and hold right on the circle but is just a little annoying that how it used to be.

Under recommended presets, none of these presets will load

For the two  days now I have been trying to import some images into Lr Mobile on my iPad Pro. The images are stuck pending. I’ve rebooted the app. Did a hard reboot to the iPad Pro. Paused the sync and resumed the sync. It usually takes less than a few seconds to import a few images (5 or 6) and it’s taking forever because it’s stuck in pending. I’m using Wi-Fi with a strong signal and everything. I don’t know what else to try. I have plenty of free storage space on my iPad Pro so that is not it either.Within Lr Mobile, I’m using 63% of 100gb of Cloud Storage. I have 36.92gb of free storage. Use cellular for sync is not available (only tried this to see if there was an issue with my hotspot), I always sync over WiFi. thanks!

My newly purchased laptop features with intel’s new CORE ULTRA X7 358H, Arc B390 iGPU. Lightroom simply cannot recognize the GPU and cannot use the hardware acceleration. When will the new hardware get support?

In Lightroom mobile camera, DNG photos are coming out totally green and color tone is entirely off. Jpg are fine. This is on android 16, Snapdragon 8 elite, Lightroom version 11.3.1. I am using oneplus 13s.
