Open for Voting

P: Sort photos by sync or not syncedOpen for Voting

Feature Request: Filter Photos by Sync Status During Import in Lightroom MobileI would like to request a new filter/sorting option in the Add Photos / Import screen in Lightroom Mobile.Requested FeatureAdd a filter or sort option to display:Synced photos and videos only Not synced photos and videos onlyThis filter should be available directly in the photo picker when selecting media to import into Lightroom. Why This Is NeededLightroom Mobile’s automatic sync is not always reliable. There are times when the app reports that everything has been synced and backed up, but many photos or videos are actually missing from Lightroom. The unsynced files are not grouped together. Instead, they are scattered intermittently throughout the camera roll, making them extremely difficult to find manually. The only visual indication is that these items do not display the Lightroom (LR) badge, but locating them one by one among thousands of photos is impractical.A “Not Synced” filter would allow users to instantly identify and select all media that has not yet been imported, ensuring that no photos or videos are missed and eliminating the need to manually search through the entire library.BenefitsPrevents accidental loss of photos that failed to sync. Makes it easy to recover from sync failures. Saves significant time for users with large photo libraries. Provides confidence that the Lightroom library is truly complete. Reduces support requests related to missing or partially synced photos. This would be a valuable quality-of-life improvement, especially for users who rely on Lightroom Mobile as their primary photo backup and editing workflow.

There needs to be a way to modify the default cursors to improve visibility, especially on 4K displaysOpen for Voting

As long as I’ve been using Photoshop (since Version 4), I have struggled with finding the cursor on light areas of an image. Since upgrading to a 4K display, the cursor has become, for all intents and purposes, essentially invisible when editing a white or light gray area on a UHD screen. The limited setting choices in Preferences/Cursor are of no use. Windows has had the ability since 3.1 to set the cursor size and shape, including inversing the arrow to black over a white background and white over a dark or black area of the screen. It’s nearly impossible to even select an area of the image with the rectangle or round tools as the cursor just disappears in the light background. I’m trying to edit an image with large areas of gray and white in order to smooth them out by selecting and copying decent areas of the image,  but here I am, at 3:59 a.m. cursing the cursor out loud. Just so you know what I’m experiencing, I double dare you to find the cursor in this screenshot from my system:Find the cursor!I cannot imagine for a moment that I’m the only one with this complaint, and I do not believe it would be that difficult to add some code to the Preference toolbox to allow customization of the cursor to accommodate different circumstances and displays. I can’t believe this is not a the house on fire issue for vision impaired users. Thanks for letting me rant.Stefan.
