I switched catalogs last year and have been unable to use the cloud portion of Lightroom. I haven’t sync’d my catalog because there are a lot of photos I don’t have access to any more that are sync’d currently. I found out about Adobe Lightroom Downloader and was able to see the process and get it started. Well it turns out…“Your Lightroom account contains 811,487 photos, 1 videos, 0 deleted photos, and 0 deleted videos totaling 21.0 TB. Choose a download destination that has enough free space to hold these files.” I’ve seen people complain about 870GB download speeds… Is there a best practice to this? Any tips and info would be super helpful for a download of this size.
When I go to move a slider like contrast for example, I typically click and hold somewhere on that slider that doesn’t cover the circle so I can see where it’s moving, but when I let go now the value jumps usually by around 5. So I click and drag with my finger starting on the line (not the circle), I drag my finger to let’s say +6 contrast, and when I let go it jumps to +11. Doesn’t happen when I click and hold right on the circle but is just a little annoying that how it used to be.
Add tethered support to the Lightroom Desktop product
Subject: Custom Background Options in LightroomHi Adobe Team,Please consider adding the ability to customize the background in Lightroom, including the option to upload a custom image. This would improve presentation and allow photographers to better match their visual identity.Best, Anders
Applying presets in Lightroom 9.3 takes an alarmingly long time.Presets that applied instantly just by hovering the mouse when rolling back to 9.2,seem to take over a minute in 9.3.This is a serious problem.I need 9.3 to work with the A7M5's HQ RAW files, but the current speed makes working impossible. The same issue has been confirmed on MacBooks (m1/m1pro/m1max/Sequoia 15.7.2).
Hello, I have started having error messages when using Lightroom and Acrobat. “Error 10000, unable to connect to the server” type message, when my connection is on and other apps to operate (InDesign, Illustrator, Bridge). I am using a Mac running on Sequoia 15.7.5.I am (trying) to use Lightroom 15.3Thanks you for your help solving this problem which is really blocking me professionally.
Why does images I exported from Lightroom Mobile becomes less vibrant than the edited photos on the app? Do I have to change some settings?
I have a pixel 7 on android 16. When enabling HDR in lightroom I get HDR unavailable. My device is a supported device.
Lightroom sidan blinkar när jag redigerar och även när jag inte gör något. Det ser lite ut som om sidan ska krascha men den blinkar bara.
The app crashes.
Hello. I am having error 10000 in Adobe Lightroom. It started about 1 month ago. Basically, there is a message saying that it is not possible to check my subscription. There are two options:- Exit Lightroom- Try again. But if I try again, there is another message asking me to logoff. Important to mention that I am connected to other Adobe Applications, such as Creative Cloud and Premiere Pro. Basically, if I logoff and login again, it is solved for a couple of days. Then, a few days later, problem happens again. I already reinstalled Lightroom. Attached you can check messages (sorry, it is in Portuguese). Version installed is 8.4, and I am using Windows 11. Thank you.
I have and issue that if I go into the people view, select a person and switch on segmentation by years. If I do this than there are multiple groups for any given year. E.g. I see 5 sections for the year 2018 with different phots in them. Also these segments are not in order but random. E.g. 2017, 2015, 2018, 2017, 2018, 2015Actually I noticed another issue I noticed is that changing ‚sort by‘ has no effect at all. Changing eg. from capture date to import date does not change the order at all.My guess is that there is generally something wrong with sorting in people view.Happens on iPad and iPhone Also in the all photos view the segmentation by year works fine, seems to be a problem of the people view
I must be missing something obvious. In my Lightroom CC Classic workflow, I frequently create a virtual copy of an image and then make adjustments on the virtual copy. This leaves the original alone and unedited. I've gotten used to that workflow - but now I can't find a way to do the same thing in Lightroom CC. I don't find either a duplicate or a virtual copy menu item - what am I missing? Thanks,Scott
After using the remove tool with generative AI selected a bright phantom image appears rendering the tool useless. Photo as attached as an example.
I want a mask that removes dark circles and makes my face look prettier.
Je n’arrive pas à avoir accès aux fonctionnalités premium dans la version mobile de Lightroom alors que j’ai un abonnement creative cloud.
Hello,I've just upgraded from an old lightroom version (6.0 back before CC).I'm happy to see that face recognition has been added, but it feels like it's a minimal version and lacking many obvious features :- force face detection on pictures that haven't been analysed : the pictures that I've migrated from lightroom 6.0 haven't been analysed by this version of lightroom. So all the album that I hadn't sorted by people yet are now doomed to stay that way. It seems to also be a problem for pictures I add from the mobile app and then sync with desktop- manually identify people in pictures : the software obviously fails to identify a human face in pictures sometimes. In Lightroom 6.0 you could draw a square and tell it there was a person to identify there. Could we do this in Lightroom desktop ?- identifying and naming people in the mobile app or web app as well. It's a rather fastidious process to validate all the faces that have been found in pictures, it would be great to be able to do
https://tonycooper.smugmug.com/ZZZZ/n-rkTsJ/i-WmSJFWf/AThe above is a (partial) screenshot of my Lightroom Classic Library screenImages are saved to E: = desktop drive) initially. I backup all images on a Seagate external drive (D:) and the column on the left is supposed to display the folder list w/image count. D: and E: are synched. At one time it, it did, but it doesn’t now and I don’t know what changed it.Viewing the Seagate drive directly, all the folders shown on the right (E: = desktop drive) exist and contain the number of images shown. How do I restore the list on the left?Thank you for your response.
Please add the auto mask feature for LR Mobile. Also please add color swap as well for IR.
When I use exposure slider the whole image becomes black while sliding. So the slider works, if I move it to the left image is less exposed, if I move it to the right it’s more exposed. But WHILE sliding I cannot see real-time changes as the whole image turns fully black. I am professional photographer so I use lightroom every day, I tried to reopen, restart etc. but nothing helped. I noticed the problem 2-3 days ago and it’s pretty annoying. It doesn’t happen with other sliders though, just exposure.
I'm not sure what is happening. I've tried to run denoise on a few photos, they all turn out like this. That one little square that isn't green still changes if I use other editing sliders. It's like the denoise worked on a couple areas and turned everything else into green disco snow.I'm on windows, using Lightroom 9.2, x64Things I have tried:Windows is up to dateGPU Drivers are up to dateHave restarted LightroomExporting the photo retains the green, so it's not just a visual glitchHappens with multiple photos
I already tried to download even the old versions but it still doesnt work. I dont know why
Hi everyone, I'm currently using Lightroom (Cloud version, not Classic) linked to my work email pro account.I'm trying to be proactive about data safety and I want to make sure I have a personal backup of everything in case I ever lose access to my work account. I already saved my .tiff unedited files on an external hard drive, and I would like to back up all my custom presets, HD tiff, jpgs and web quality jpgs of all my pictures. My goal is to be able to automate my data backup & to be able to access it later with a different Adobe Lightroom account.Any experience or step-by-step advice would be much appreciated. Thanks!
Since updating to Lightroom version 9.4, I am told that I need to update AI settings before exporting photos, even if I have only applied denoise. The process then hangs, stops completely, and tells me that Lightroom needs to repair, and that I should reinstall it. Having done this, the same issue remains. I have now reverted to the previous update which is working fine.
On the desktop version, when we select to store an album locally (for offline access), it always downloads the full resolution images. My understanding is that the same feature on mobile only downloads the “smart preview” versions of the photos. I would like to have an option, either in the settings or when downloading an album, to select if I want the full-size files or the smart previews. There are two options I’m asking for this: I mostly use this when travelling. Having all the full resolution photos takes unnecessary spaces. When I travel with a less powerful devices, having full resolution photos slows down Lightroom a lot and uses an unnecessary amount of resources to process the images.
