LR is on my desktop (MacBook Pro) cannot be upgraded and cannot be moved to my Apps

Hi everyone, I'm new to this community and I've been using Lightroom CC on my iPhone and iPad for the last 7 years with Lightroom cc and Classic on my laptop (windows) as well. I've been having this AI generative removal tool not responding after selecting and clicking on "remove ". Please see attached photo. All of the firmware for iPhone/iPad and laptop are updated with the latest. It was working fine only just two weeks ago when I used Classic to do some Denoising . Just wondering if anyone knows a fix for this?  Thank u

Hello. Im currently using Lightroom on my stationary pc. Im lookin to buy the a new laptop:ASUS Vivobook model S5507QA-MA049W. From what I understood this runs windows arm64. Can I transfer my currently active lightroom from my pc to this new laptop. Will is work on the arm64 platform? Thanks

Hello, I am writing to report ongoing and very frustrating issues with Lightroom. The program repeatedly freezes and shuts down by itself, causing me to lose hours of work because the edits are not saved. After it crashes, my entire system restarts, and Lightroom reverts to previous versions of my projects. It even reopens old folders from the previous day instead of the ones I was currently working on. In addition, the software runs extremely slowly. Every single change takes ages to process, making my workflow unbearably inefficient.These problems have become a serious obstacle to my work, and I would really appreciate your assistance in resolving them as soon as possible. Thank you for your attention and support.Gabriela

I have a microsoft surface 4 laptop and using lighroom classic on the desktop. This problem has only just happened recently. I only just finished a portfiolo with 200 photos and I'm trying to edit 30 photos and it keeps crashing, freezing on me. Whenever I try and use the AI removal tool (generate ai) it will freeze, take forever to load it or basically stops and keeps saying "not responding". It will even do it when I'm just trying to add a preset.  It also sometimes shows up with this black screen? Even if I try and zoom in and out it will be heavily delayed and make the computer freeze.  It's taken me soooo many hours to edit what I have can someone please please help me. Photos attached of what it keeps doing. please please help!!! Thank you.

I have been experimenting technical issues with LR for about a month now. I am using a Mac Pro. I am unable to upload my photos from any external disks. Also, the option "exit" fails most of the times and I need to force exit. I have tried everything to solve the issues without result. It is vey frustrating. I am paying for something useless.Any help will be much appreciated.

I am currrently using an M1 Ultra Mac Studio with Lightroom version 8.5 and macOS Sequoia 15.6.  I am unable to get AI Denoise to work with any file type (DNG, NEF, RAW, etc.). I've tried uninstalling/reinstalling Lightroom. Made sure I was using the latest version. Checked to make sure all the file types I was using were supported, but the problem still persists. When I try to click on the "Denoise" box, it brings the screen up with the progress bar, and looks like it's running without issue. But after about 2-3 second of running, it just cuts out and does not progress any further (progress bar/box disapears and goes right back to the normal edit screen).  Then when I try to click the "Denoise" box again, it won't even bring up the progress bar screen. Other AI/generative functions are working without issue. It's just the Denoise. Any guidance/help troubleshooting/resolving the problem would be greatly appreciated. Thank you. 

   Anyone else constantly getting this pop up on unedited photos? App is up to date. Needs a bug fix.   {Title edited by Moderator for clarity and to aid search queries}

When importing HEIC files to Lightroom Mobile on Android, the colours become less contrasty, like a different colour profile is being used. The issue cannot be replicated with jpegs and is not solved by changing the raw default settings (understandably). See attached photos for an example. Lightroom Mobile Android version 11.0.1Samsung s10e Android 12

I'm trying to finally make the switch to cloud-based Lightroom, but I still want to store a copy of all my originals locally. I have turned on the "Store a copy of all originals" setting and pointed it to an internal SSD on my computer. It took most of a day, and I had to restart Lightroom a few times, but LR now says it is "synced and backed up." However, my Lightroom library has 133,666 photos and videos, but the folder on my drive only has 129,010 files. Hi I’m reaching out for help with recovering my Lightroom catalog and photos.Some time ago, my MacBook was damaged by water and began developing corrosion. Before the device stopped working completely, I copied my Lightroom library file (.lrlibrary, 226GB) to my iCloud Drive as a backup.Recently, I downloaded that same .lrlibrary file back to my new Mac and placed it locally under Pictures, using the default Lightroom folder name. However, when I open Lightroom, I can’t locate the photos that were in my original catalog. The Originals folder inside the package appears to be empty, and I also don’t see any of my old albums or collections on the left panel.These were important professional photographs that I no longer have original copies of anywhere else. I’d deeply appreciate your help or any possible way to restore the missing images or reconnect the catalog.Thank you very much for your time and assistance 

After some time of use (let's say roughly after one hour of continuative use) when I apply a radial gradient mask it's shape controls (size, orientation) and red overlay doesn't work, so I can't move or reshape the mask... for some time deselecting the mask and then selecting it again, or moving the mouse out of the photo area, improve a little bit, but after some other minuts I have to restart Lr to get it working again.

Some photos are black and when I click on them Lightroom closes. Some photos show is bright blue with all the previous edits hightlighted.

The downloader will not work... it quits at 9%... is the a way to restict down load like just a year worth of photos?

I am having an issue where my photos have the luminance manual noise reduction applied, however that setting is not applied when I try to export them. I'm using a MacBook Pro to work on these. 

Hi,I am trying to browse through my folders and subfolder in lightroom version 7. I want to show  the content from folders and subfolders in one go, similar as in LrC. The only option I find is to browse to the subfolder with images and show the content of that subfolder. My main folder has no images but only subfolders and the message appears: no editable files in this folder..... In LrC also the number of images is shown for the main folder and all it's subfolders, which is not visible for me in LR version 7.  

I want to download everything stored in my adobe lightroom cloud (about 107gb) to an external drive. Lightroom Downloader is the tool for that so I installed it. When I selected the destination folder it gives me an error that says "not enough space" despite the external drive having more than 2tb available. I have also tried saving to my Mac HD which I have 500gb available, and get the same error.   I am on a macbook pro running 10.15.7 Why is this happening despite me having ample space??? here is a screenshot of the issue

In lightroom I have the option to title an image and caption it. I would like to export, or email the images with that information attached, so I don't have to manually add that in an email. The images are paintings and so it is important to the client that I add information like the title and the dimensions of the painting in. And I added that all in lightroom – but is there a way, when I email or export them the images, that the information is also attached?
