Lightroom ecosystem (Cloud-based)

Hi all, I am using the most recent version of Lightroom on an Android device (Samsung A52). I have just upgraded to Lightroom Premium in order to edit and export videos. When I try to export, save or share any edited footage I am given a "Couldn't Complete Export" error message with no further details. This happens every time. I have tried the following fixes, with no avail. 1. Clear the Cache2. Re Log-In3. Uninstall & Reinstall I am able to export the videos via the online editor on PC but I predominantly use mobile so this is not suitable for my purposes. I have plenty of storage on my device and a stable internet connection. Any advice? If not I shall have to cancel my Premium Plan and find something else. Thank you!

Hallo zusammen,ich teste mich gerade durch die aktuelle Version von LR Mobile auf meinem Tablet durch und bin auf ein Problem gestoßen (für mich).Ich schiebe unter LRC die Bilder in eine Sammlung, diese werden mit LR Mobile synchronisiert - funtioniert perfekt.Wenn ich jetzt in der Galerie die Bilder ansehen möchte, will LR Mobile die Bilder nachladen. Da ich im Tablet keine Sim habe, funktioniert das unterwegs nicht. Kann ich irgendwo einstellen, dass er die SmartPreviews gleich standardmäßig beim synchronisieren mit  lädt? Ich kann ja nicht jedes mal nach dem Sync neuer Bilder alle im WLAN durchscrollen, damit die Vorschauen geladen werden.Für Tipps wäre ich Euch sehr dankbar.

My computer has limited space, so I deleted a folder which was backed up on my hard drive. Now I can no longer download or edit these images in photoshop. I wan't to relink this folder to my hard drive, but I can't seem to find a way to do this. There is not right click and find folder option like there is in Lightroom Classic. 

Hello,I am trying to get into the swing of using Lightroom CC (which pales in comparison to the Lightroom Classic, IMO). I keep finding solutions to most of the problems I have had, however this particular one has me stuck.Anytime I hover over a feature for a moment, an animated tool tip pops up. The pop-ups get in the way of my editing and are very annoying as they don't go away for all too long. This is really slowing down my productivity and of zero use to me since I already know how to use the features. I cannot find any way to make them go away when they pop-up, let alone disable them all together. Every search online only brings up the solutions for Photoshop, which the option does not appear in Lightroom CC.Any help would be greatly appreciated otherwise I will have to abandon Lightroom CC as these are just all too distracting.Thanks in advanced!Take care,-Justin

Hello,I've noticed a change in the search behavior in the latest version of Lightroom (not Classic). Previously, I was able to paste multiple photo filenames (e.g., IMG_1234 IMG_5678) into the search bar, and Lightroom would successfully find all of them. Now, when I do the same, it returns no results unless I search for each filename separately.This has significantly slowed down my workflow.Could you please let me know if this change was intentional? And is there a way to restore the previous functionality?Thank you in advance!

Hello-I am writing as I have a problem. In 2020 I was new to Lightroom and I shared an album with someoe I had taken photos of. They did not download the photos and I cannot find them on my aqccoiunt. I now think it is possible I had a 2nd account? Is there any way of retrieving  using the link? Any help appreciated,Ger 

Hi there, I have come to the understanding that I am not on top of my backing up of photos game. 😞 My phone got stolen & I have lost enourmouse amount of pictures taken over the last 2 years. Now in the recovery process I was hoping that my edited pictures would be attached to my light room account, I do have the paid subscription.  However after logging in, I discovered I was mistaken.  1)How does it work to back up file with light room, is there a way to access previous edited / uploaded content.  2)& then how is the best way to go about preserving pictures, I dont love the cloud - but are starting to feel like that's the only option ? All school hard drive backups, obviously only work when you religiously get to them. Hope you'll have some insight:) (Samsung user) 

If i am. Buying premium in my mobile will that also support in my laptop? 

I can't seem to find FOLDERS anywhere on Lightroom Mobile App for my iPAD. The only options are: All PhotosLR Camera PhotosRecently AddedRecent EditsPeopleDeletedand thenAlbums I can Create a new folder or album but then when I search for that Folder, it's nowhere to be found. Could someone help? I'm on the most recent version Thank you  

Hello,    I am unable to upload photos scanned from film to the lightroom community. All photos are .Jpeg. If I try uploading it on the phone, it states that "This eductation account does not have the permissions" and on the computer, it states "Error 403 An unexpected error occured"   Is there a way around this? 

Olá!Utilizo o lightroom.Eu possuo um problema no armazenamento de fotos que uma opção me ajudaria muito! Desconsiderar a diferenciação de acentos. Eu coloco muitas fotos com títulos longo e às vezes copio e colo alguns títulos que acabam vindo de digitações alheia com e sem acentos nas palavras.Mas o mecanismo de busca diferencia elas e as vezes não encontro o que procuro. Por isso gostaria de uma opção que pudesse desconsiderar isso!

I just install my adobe light room on my mobile phones ios and android.I notice that it auto upload all the photos thats on my mobile phone to cloud. I want it to auto upload only those i set as favorite or i set into a certain tag / label.Otherwise i am overwhelm by all the junk photos shared by others in whatsapp also got uploaded for nothing. I want this experience to be for photograhers only and not all other irrelevant junk images from screen shots to photos shared by groups that i join in my whatsapp.Its very messy right now.

When I open my images from my iPhone in lightroom they automatically are edited and like "smoothed" out. They become brighter and less defined - and I can't seem to stop this happening. Does anyone know how to stop this?  

I'm trying to import .dng photos into lightroom.  They look sharp with lots of detail when I open via Microsoft photos viewer or on my phone when I zoom in.  As soon as I import into Lightroom they look fine but then it says "loading" for 3-5 seconds and the photo loses a lot of detail.  It looks like someone smeared vaseline all over it.  Any ideas?  I'm super sad that all my raw photos from a trip might be uneditable in lightroom.  I included a picture zoomed in on a cloud to show the loss of detail.  Left is lightroom.  Right is Microsoft photos.

Lightroom on iPad didn't use to do this. I've attached two screenshots of the same RAW unedited photo from my Sony A1. One screenshot is viewing it in iPhoto and the other is viewing it imported to Lightroom.  Neither has been edited. In Lightroom the quality tanks; it's terrible. I checked App Store and Lightroom's up to date. This just started happening and with all RAW imported photos, the quality goes way down. Any help would be appreciated. 

Hello all. Album covers from my Spotifyaccount appear in my library every time. I've looked for how to get rid of this but can't find it. Where do you disable this option?

Unable to login to Lightroom dektop or Creative Cloud dektop for what seems like the umpteenth millionth time. Repeated cycle of asking for login credentials which appear to work but don't actually sign me in. And maybe two hours from now it will work just fine. This has been an ongoing issue since purchasing the plan 8 months ago. I've deleted tokens from Credential Manager - no change.  Can not uninstall the app because - it requires mt to sign in.  Can't contact customer service because it requires me to sign in.  And even then you don't actually get to speak to someone - it's chat only and very delayed at that.  Sigh. Lightroom v 8.4, Windows 11.

With Lightroom Classic now able to export HDR JPEGs, could you share the roadmap for bringing the same capability to the cloud-based Lightroom desktop app? It’s surprising to see this feature already present on mobile yet still missing from the desktop version.

Adobe Lightroom Version 8.4  Apple M3 Pro - MacOS Sequoia 15.5  Lightroom is lagging/stuttering when the desktop app is in use. It gets hung up on "preporting" when attempting to export, indefinitely. This means I can not edit my photos properly and then I can not export them to be saved. There is a bug that needs to be fixed. As of now I am unable to proceed with my photography because the app is so bugged. (Cloud-based). [moved from bugs to discussions according to the community rules - Mod.]

What’s the easiest/best way to keep track of who receives the photos I share, and which photos are being shared? I plan to be sharing lots of photos soon and I can't rely on my memory, so I have to ask around. I appreciate all useful suggestions.

Hi Adobe Community,I’m a happy Lightroom user on the 3TB plan. My library contains many valuable photos.Is Adobe Cloud alone sufficient for long-term access/reliability?Do you recommend an additional backup (external drive or second cloud)? If so, any best-practice suggestions?Thanks, Robbert

When I open Adobe Lightroom for iPad it no longer remembers where I was last editing. Every time it just opens to the top. So, being that i have almost 30,000 images in my Lightroom, and if I'm editing 5,000 photos deep, it no longer remembers that and I have to scroll down and find it each time I open Lightroom. I removed the app and reinstalled it, and it's still doing the same thing.    I hope this is an error and not a new feature. I have no desire to use a cloud based system that can't remember where I left off.

using Lightroom how do i convert raw orf to JPEG?

I use Lightroom across multiple devices. iPhone, iPad mini, iPad Pro.  The pro keeps having problems downloading original images from the cloud. Saying the file location doesn't exist or hanging.
