I am a creative. I am specifically the kind of person who is being replaced with AI output. Sending me daily emails about all your 'wonderful AI products' is rubbing salt in the wound. It's also really got me questioning why I stay with the Adobe ecosystem. Honestly the only solid reason is that I've learned these tools. I can learn other tools. Tools that aren't trying to jump on the AI bandwagon.
Hi all, I am attempting to make a map of an area for a gift. I stitched together 60 tiles from google earth. On photoshop you can clearly see the differences in the shading/color that appear in straight vertical lines (see attached). These appear to be shading differences within the same screenshot/layer on google earth. Does anyone have any advice on how to best blend this together so that it looks more uniform? Thank you
i don't know why is thatcan someone help me?cannot figure out how to fix this problem
Hello, when I try to log in to the photoshop desktop application I get the "You've previously signed in with Google." message, however, my paid subscription is connected to a non-gmail email. There is no way to proceed to my own account without clicking on "Continue with Google". I'd appreciate if anyone could help me to solve the issue without uninstalling the application. Thanks.
I've encountered this problem a few times, trying to engrave a photo on a coaster or something. I've got a couple of photos like the one attached that I want to do, but I don't want it to look odd where the photo is cropped at the bottom. Is there a way of softening, or feathering, just that edge of the photo, to make it look more natural? ThanksChris
I'm sure I'm doing something dumb here but I can't find anything on this in this forum or elsewhere on line. I'm watching Julieanne Kost's excellent LDC Photoshop "Essentials" course, and she's "Place Embedded" 'ing a .PSD image into her session and it's resizing to her current canvas size. Mine places (showing transformation controls) but doesn't resize with .PSD, .JPG or .DNG file types. I have the preference setting checked for "Resize during Place Embedded" (and "Always create smart objects when placing") and it DOES work with .TIF images for some odd reason. Anybody ever seen this?? Thanks in advance!Using a current iMac running 10.13.4 and PS 19.1.3 (current as of 5/13/18)
I tried to launch Photoshop earlier today, but as soon as the startup screen reaches 'measuring memory' it crashes. I don't get any error code, it simply disappears. I've tried updating Photoshop, resetting preferences, launching without plugins, downgrading to a different version, updating my Nvidia drivers, none of that works. I managed to launch through Windows 8 compatibility mode but it was really slow and I'm worried it could mess things up more relying on that mode. I tried to install Photoshop Beta, crashed at the same 'measuring memory' point. Uninstalled it and any other Beta programs, didn't work.Used the Creative Cloud Cleanup Tool to completely get rid of Photoshop, didn't work. Went through multiple different versions of Photoshop, all of them crashed at the same point. Sometimes it gets further into the launch but then I receive an error pretty much saying 'Something has gone wrong, Windows will report it to Microsoft' (I can't remember specifi
Photoshop resets Workspace every time I launch I have to Reset the Workspace to either my Saved Workspace or "Reset Essentials" - using V26.11.0. Never had this issue in last 25 years. Thanks for any assiatance!
It's in the export panel, but not in my Save As Copy anymore, or in generic save dropdown. I looked in the settings but didn't find anything about which file types appears in drop down menus. Where did it go????
can you please allow or enable non-adobe generative ai models in photoshop

Hello Adobe Team,I'd like to share feedback regarding the design consistency of your products. After opening the menu window in Photoshop, I noticed its appearance does not match the design aesthetics of Windows 11, nor does it align with the more modern look of Adobe After Effects and Premiere Pro. The Photoshop menu window feels quite outdated and boxy.A similar issue is present in the Effects panel of Adobe Illustrator, which also hasn't seen an update for many years. If this is a design choice, then why is the experience different on Mac? On Mac, these windows even support dark mode and look much more modern. Why hasn’t this been implemented on Windows? Is this intentional, or is it a technical issue that hasn't been resolved yet?I'd appreciate any insights or plans for future UI improvements that would make these panels look more contemporary and cohesive with your other apps.Thank you!
I use lighting gels and camera filters when photographing. For instance, my polarising filter changes mired by +19, independent of the colour temperature. I want the images I create using or not the filter to be at the same colour temperature independent of the lighting conditions.Adjusting colour temperature is inappropriate as in most cases the colour temperature of the scene is unknown and probably unknowable. For instance, I do not have a colour measurement meter for measuring my various flash guns and lighting units, never mind daylight. Assumptions are a bad idea.Photoshop etc needs to provide and incorporate professional tools for professional activities. Not enabling mired adjustments is unprofessional.Mireds have been around for 90 years.Time for Adobe to catch up and add a tool widely used by photography professionals.
I have a cloud document which contains a lot of illustrations. They're drawn high res in this document and I need to be able to export them cropped, and at 25% of their actual size. (Keeping the high res version is important). Finally, I undo the changes after the export. How do I do this safely? I crop the document, then size it down to 25%, then export it, then undo. My fear is PS crashing and because it's a cloud document, auto saves the cropped document. A work around would be not using Cloud Documents, but I want to be able to access this document from various locations so it's easier this way. Can anyone suggest a means of safely cropping/resizing exports so I don't risk losing the high res images? (I could copy it to a new document, but because my computer hangs when loading new documents it's annoying, and I'm used to my method from when documents didn't auto save constantly. Option to not auto save cloud documents would have been nice here... Copying to n
Hello! Is there a preset in Photoshop CC that each time I open an image, it will fit in the window. Each time I have to use (Command 0) to Fit In View. Is there a setting that fixes this. Thanks!Message was edited by: Sahil Chawla
Can anyone tell me how I did this? I am creating a tarot deck and need symbols for the suits of wands, swords, etc. I recall the process of creating the symbols out of ancient sword imagery and being able still having the details in a 2D format. I haven't done it in over 2 years and have completelty forgotten the steps on how to do it, and have had ZERO luck with trying to search how to do this. This is what I was able to do before: and I am trying to do the same black outline on this new image: Thanks in advance!
Hi! I know this has been asked a few times but I can't seem to find an answer to my problem. I changed the location of my scratch disk in a location where I can easily see them but the problem is I can only see the temp files when I open Photoshop. Whenever I try to delete them it says I can't because Photoshop app is currently in use. I also tried the purge option within Photoshop but it doesn't seem to change anything. I hope someone can help. Thank you so much!
Hello!I’m a product photographer / Graphic designer specializing in end mills and other milling/turning tools. For some of my compositions, I like to incorporate the metal shavings (also known as chips) that are produced when these tools machine a part. I often use them as a textured background element in my photos.I’ve always wanted to create a custom Photoshop brush from an image of these chips. The goal is to make it easier to remove and then selectively paint the chips back in where needed during post-processing.In the reference image I’ve linked, I want to clear out the center area to make room for a logo, then use a brush to paint some chips back in around the edges to maintain a natural look.Could someone walk me through the best method for turning a detailed image like this into a clean, usable brush? Any tips on isolating the chips, cleaning up the image, and setting up the brush would be really helpful. Also, if you know of any how-to videos you've found helpful creating a br
Hello guys, I did some cleaning on my computer and I think I have accidently broken the UI home screen that displays all my current projects. So far, nothing else has been affected however, I can't create a new file and the home page looks like this. Any leads on how to fix this? I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling and it reamins the same.
When one person on our team saves a file as a PNG or JPG, Photoshop adds a lot of noise and makes the image very degraded in appearance. This is a recent change as of the last month and needs to be investigated.
I recently had a problem and Adobe support took remote control of my Mac and needed to restore my Preferences to default. That solved the problem but now I have another. When I open an image in PS, the image window is so large that even when the entire image is shown in the window, the actual window is much larger and the scrolll bars show. Used to be the window frame was either the same size as the image or slightly larger with no scroll bars. Sometimes the image itself moves out of view and I have to use the hand to drag it back into view. I can't find the control that allows me to set the dimensions of the window frame.. Advice?
Ok. This will be hard to explain. But it happened before, and it happened in older and newer versions. I had two different files opened. I was just working on one checking if everything is okay so I can save them. Then I realized, both files are suddenly the same. And they werent just a second before. I wasn't saving them. Wasn't duplicating them. Didn't mess with anything except one smart object that was open too which I closed. Now I wasn't sure what to do but I didn't want to lose the work. Hoping it's just some screen drivere issue (which happened before) I closed and saved. And got two same files. One was replaced with other while it was being open and I have no clue how. There is no shortcut that could do that. There is no action that could do that. There was nothing in recovery folder, no even smart objects in temp folder. And there should be tons of smart objects.Windows 11 Pro, Photoshop 21 (the one with two flamingos)Similar thing happened before but I wasn't saving files
