hey everyone i am new to adobe photoshop and when i erase it takes more then one clickmeans when i click it erase but still it is visible but it is light and it take 1 to 10 or 5 clicks to erase it all can you help me with this

Hi all,I'm just starting out trying to use layers and following tutorials on Youtube, and one tutorial has shown me how to create a background and a brush layer - then advises you only have to drag and drop a photo in your files onto it to create another layer.Nope.I googled the problem and there are two "fixes" I've encountered - one the "regedit" fix here, and the other going in and unselecting "run as admin".I've done both of these and still no ability to drag and drop. I've been trying various solutions I found on Youtube for literally an hour and a half and I am practically pulling my hair out in clumps.I'm on a PC laptop, running Windows 11.If it's somehow impossible for me to enable this function, is there any other way to add a photo from my files as a new layer instead of opening up an entirely new tab for it? At the moment it looks like I can't use layers in the way they are supposed to be used at all because I can't do something as simple as click and drag images. It is EXTR

The creative cloud app shows that version 27.0 is installed, but the "About Photoshop" in Photoshop still shows vresion26.11.1. I have a new Windows 11 computer, and 26.11.1 runs great on it. What would cause version 27.0 not install over 26.11.1? (I'm older, but I really don't know how else to describe the issue.)

I was using my droplets this morning with no issue.  Without changing anything whatsoever, I tried to use a droplet I've already used this morning and got the JavaScript code was missing error.  I can verify that the Javascript hasn't moved nor has it been altered in any way.  Photoshop hasn't been updated or closed between using this droplet successfully and it failing.  I'm on the 27.0.0 release using a Mac running Sonoma 14.5.

I create Instagram carousels DAILY for myself and my clients, some are minimal but most are creative and have seamless designs to make them unique.  This update limited the sizing for exports to 8192px, absolutely destroying my workflow.    Please reverse this or fix it.  Instagram increased carsouel from 10 posts to 20, my canvases are 10800 or 21600, 8192 isn't going to cut it.

Hi guys,I am new to this community but have used Adobe Photoshop CS6 for a long time. I have been pushed into a situation where I have to build out a Windows 11 based laptop and need to reinstall Photoshop CS6 Extended. I have an original DVD and the install went as expected. I am now struggling with applying the official patch that will get me to the final CS6 updated status. Like many others, I have no desire to move to cloud based computing so I do not want the new updater/updates.I have searched through many posts on here and all seem to point to the need for me to get ApplicationManager6.2_all.exe to facilitate the load of the official patch. I have clicked on numerous old dead links shown in this community and searched the internet. There are lots of fake sites out there but I have had no luck.My request for help here I don't believe is illegal - can somebody please help me with a copy of this file? I am happy to provide proof of having the kosher media and product code. I c

I'm trying to create a mockup in Photoshop where I apply a rug pattern onto a cushion. I have photos of the object (the cushion) from 7 different angles, and I want to automate the process using a script inside Photoshop. I can do this manually using the Vanishing Point tool, but it's very time-consuming. When I try to automate it with an action, it doesn't record the Vanishing Point steps. And when I try to use a script, it can't access the Vanishing Point tool either.Is it possible for a script to open a Smart Object, insert the pattern into it, and transform it into the required perspective automatically? I have around 700 patterns to apply, so doing it manually isn't really an option. Can someone help?  

Today I am getting this error messsage when I try to open any photoshop file:"Photoshop not load the user measurement presets file Photoshop does not recognize type of file". I have tested it on loads of PS files which yesterday I could open fine. I recently updated to PS27.0 in c reative cloud. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling Photoshop but getting the same message. Need help with this ASAP!  

I had to roll back to 25.7 because export scaling at 3x looks horrendous in all later version. Here are my export settings and what it looks like in 26.2 comparted to 25.7.   Please fix this issue.

Hi, we have Adobe design std (licensed, certificated etc, we have all documents proving that it was bought legally) bought in 2012 (we could use it at that time and it worked normally). We have tried to log in there some time ago but there is an issue with the key and we can not log in there. We have tried to contact someone to help us to solve the issue but of course with no solution, they say that they do not know the source of the purchase..So how it is possible that we have certificate? ...   So we spent our money and can not even use it. Can someone competent help us here? Thank you.

I’m exporting as PNG using both “Save for Web (PNG-24)” and “Export As → PNG” with Bicubic Sharper and Convert to sRGB checked.Everything looks fine at larger sizes, but when I export the 320×66 version, the logo becomes noticeably soft or blurry — even at 100% zoom. Dear Adobe :If you want to lose more and more private customers who used your tools (PhotoShop and Lightroom) for their hobby rather than business: Well done!
