Issue: Photoshop version: 26.10.0 20250811.r.7 x64 (final, Release)OS: Windows 11 64-bit (10.0.26100.4946), 4070 RTX (mobile), i7-13700h, Windows HDR enabledSteps to reproduce:Create a new 1000 x 1000 px document., RGB, 8 bit.In [Edit > Color Settings...] enable "Blend RGB colors using gamma 1.00".Create two 200 x 200 px, #00f blue raster squares with 50% opacity ("Normal" blend). Put the second one into "Pass Through" group and observe that its opacity gets reduced to 25%, while the first one retains 50%. Expected result: "Pass Through" group works the same way in gamma 2.20 and 1.00 (by being ingnored from composition as if it was not there).Actual result:For unknown reasons when RGB gamma blending (1.00) is enabled "Pass Through" groups don't actually pass through, they modify alpha from 50% to 25% of the layer inside. 

I am talking about the new features, the invites to explore and everything else undemanded popping up everywhere, in all apps, on the site...I am 63 and feel treated like a toddler! Thanks!  Ps: Maybe put your energy in correctly syncing the, to me, useless libraries.They never sync and I constantly get a warning about that! 

Since the update to version 26.10.0 20250811.r.7 595d3a6 x64 (final, Release), the Edit in Photoshop 2025 function in Lightroom no longer works correctly. The Photoshop 2025 app opens, but the image itself does not open in Photoshop.In my case, this problem only occurs when I try to edit NEF or JPG photos in Photoshop. If I perform the same steps with a TIF file, the photo does open in Photoshop.

Hola a todos, tengo un problema con photoshop ya que desde hace mucho tiempo tengo unos pinceles creados y establecidos, pero el día de hoy tengo un problema y es que manejo dos tipos de pinceles uno que detecta la presión de la tableta y otro que no para hacer diferentes trazos, el problema es que ahora tooodos los pinceles hasta los que tenía configurado que NO tuviera dinámica de forma, detecta la presión del pincel, intento desactivar esta casilla pero se me desactivan todas hasta las que tienen la opción de la dinámica de forma, pero cuando uso mi lapiz digital inmediatamente detecta la presión y me cambia automaticamente todos mis pinceles a la opción de presión de la pluma.me gustaría saber si alguien tiene la solución porque es tedioso tener que desactivar y activar casillas de dinámica de forma cada vez que quiera intercambiar entre pinceles sin presión y no, o sea por algo cree pinceles personalizados en este estilo, y nunca había tenido ese problema en todo lo que llevo usan

Hello,I'm working on a script that turns layers into smart objects, but preserves their masks on the smart object.For that, I need to save the current layer mask as a channel and return its name (done that), delete mask, convert into a smart object, and then recreate the mask from the channel that I saved and that I have its name.I tried recording an action in which I dragged the channel into the layer which creates the layer mask,  but undoing and running the action again fails. I tried to work with the code I got from that action but I still failed.Ideally, I'm looking for code that does not load the channel as a selection and then create the mask, but does it directly. Is that possible?

I just updated Photoshop and when I try to Edit Photo from Lightroom to Photoshop the image won't open Any ideas?

for the first time, PSD is glitching, and destroyed my ability to finisha deadline.  I don't work in broadcast.  I use it for 1. writing and 2. fine art.I don't want a fancy schmantzy version.  I just have simple tasks.I guess it is time to pay for using psd, but adobe couldn't just tell me that.that would be too simple.instead they destroy your life.I cannot contact adobe to find out how to upgrade (I don't want to upgradebecause I get a confusing program that I don't need.  I just need simplicity,as I stated.)Is there anyway to contact a sane photoshop employee to get some answers?thanks for wading throught his rant.

Regular layers and adjustment layers show the Vector Masks to the right of the layer, like so: But for some reason in Photoshop CC, color fill layers turn like this once a Vector Mask is linked to them, with an icon at the bottom right indicating there is a Vector mask: Is there an option to make the color fill layers act the same as regular layers? This is what I would like (it's a photoshop edit): My principal issue with this is the "link" icon is missing - the one between the layer and the mask that toggles editing the layer and mask separately or together. I sometimes duplicate and drag Vector Masks from a regular layer to a color fill - and then have no way of toggling or even knowing if the Vector Mask is "linked" or not. Please at least tell me how to do that.

So I have this project that I re-use to export cards for a trading card game. It consists of a smart object inside which I paste the image of the trading card, and in the main project that smart object is nicely trimmed and with a glow effect. I've been using the same .psd file to export images for like a year now, I changed nothing about the settings of it, but now all of a sudden both the preview and the exported images have a gray tone and are under-saturated. I'll attach a before and after so you can see. I'm sure it's something to do with color profiles because if I enable "Proof Colors" and set the Proof Setup to "Monitor RGB" the preview looks just fine. But of course, that's not an actual fix because the exported image still has the wrong colors. Problem is, I have zero idea how to fix it. I've been trying to switch around the color profiles, assign different profiles, convert from one another but nothing seems to help. I just want it to go back to the way it onc

Long time power used here. In 24.7.0on Mac OS 13.1Mac Book Pro 16-inch 2021 M1 Max When on a layer or layer mask and using a keyboard shortcut to select another tool the program switches to the tool but then immediately switches back to the previous tool selected. Each time I use the quick key to try and switch it continues to switch back over and over again. I have to completely click out of the layer I am on or the layer mask I am in to clear the issue or manually click the other tool. Seems to only be an issue when using a key board shortcut for that tools. It doesnt matter what tool I'm in, it seems to happen on every tool. It happens the most when I'm on a mask and trying to paint on a mask. Restarting the program or full computer restart does not fix the issue. This just popped up in my most recent upgrade to 24.7.0.   

I often used this action set in the past.  But not recently.  Yesterday was was working in Photoshop 26.10.0 using the firefly 3.0 tools.  Decided to try the old Watercolor Action set on the image produced in Firefly 3.0.  The result was nothing like I used to see with this action set. I was in the Creative Cloud for a least an hour this morning trying to locate a new version of the watercolor action if a new version exists.  No success. Has Adobe discontinued this action set? If a new action set exists, where is it? Thanks  

L'année dernière, j'ai enregistré un fichier pour le web au format PNG, et cette année, en suivant exactement la même procédure, le résultat est différent. Je trouve que l'image est plus agressive cette année et je ne comprends pas pourquoi les couleurs ont changé. J’ai joint deux fichiers pour que vous puissiez voir la différence. Since I got a new desktop and installed Photoshop version 25.12.3, the pixel thickness specified for my pencil no longer matches the actual width. For example, when I enter "1 px" in the box next to the pencil, I get a line 2 pixels thick. With higher values, e.g., 4, 5, or 12 px, the lines are always 2 pixels thicker than the specified value. How do I ensure that the specified value matches the actual width?Thank you in advance for your response. Anneke

I did a lot of retouching work and suddenly couldn't save my file. When I save it, I get an error"Could not save because of a disk error (-1)."Now I can't close Photoshop without losing the work I've done. Please help me to solve the problem.There is no choice of where to save the files, the error message appears immediately. Adobe has full disk access in the settings. The RAW files I'm working with are on an external disk. I have been working from it all day and have been saving files without any problems. The external ssd drive and the system disk have a lot of free space.I tried to open files from the system drive in Photoshop - still the same - nothing is saved. Also tried creating and saving a file in photoshop. No kind of files can be saved.I have macOS Monterey 12.3, M1, Photoshop was updated 3 days ago.

Hi,when I open a RAW file in photoshop, I apply a b&w layer and then a camera raw filter, I obtain a completely red image.I tried to open the same RAW file in photoshop, applying the camera raw filter only (thus without the b&n layer) and everything seems to be working fine.The problem seems to be related to the b&w layer.All my apps are updated to the last version, working on a windows 11 system.Is there any way to fix the problem?Many thanks for your support.... ps. the image shows my screen with the above described problem 

When I try using the clone stamp or healing tool, once I click to sample the layer becomes inactive. It's set to sample all layers. Tried looking at all possibilities but can't activate the layer once it's sampled. 

The file I'm trying to open was able to open about 2 weeks ago. Now I keep getting the pop up message that says it couldn't open because of an error. The error wasn't there when I last saved the file. It's PSB file. I've tried the suggestions from the "Learn how to fix, "Photoshop could not complete your request because of a program error" when opening or saving files" posting on the Adobe website. Nothing worked.I've also tried opening the file on another device. It keeps giving the same error message.  Another file that I had saved on the same day as the one that now won't open can open. I don't know what happened to the file that supposedly has an error.  I don't want to have to completely restart from scratch. 

Hello,  I have a problem which I can only work around by restarting PS. But it happens about every 10 minutes, it is really frustrating and I can't find a solution. When I am working at first there is no problem at all. Sometimes I can work for an hour straight without any problems, other times it happens after a couple of minutes.  The Problem is that PS starts to Stutter when zooming in or out. It can even zoom in or out all the way to the max, so far that the canvas is so small (or big) that I can't even see it anymore.  Also when I grap the canvas to move it, the whole canvas jumps back to the place where I initially grapped it.  The second problem that occurs when the above happens is that my other tools start to freak out. For example: If I have a brush selected and I paint somewhere PS creates all kinds of random lines over my canvas.  I've attatched a short video to this report which shows the problem. Version: 26.0.0 (it i

I've been experiencing this bug in all version of CS so far. It hasn't been fixed by any update. When placing an .ai vector smart object in Photoshop the object gets automatically distorted. Instead of placing at 100% on both horizontal and vertical axes it gets randomly distorted. This is a serious issue when using logos or other branding artwork where it's critical for it to be in proportion. I've also noticed that if I delete an element from the .ai file the smart object distorts even more severely once it updates, even though the artboard is unchanged and the outermost edges of vector art are also identical. Does anyone have a fix for this?

I recently tried to install my version of photoshop CS6 on a new laptop. However. After downloading and installing the files and entering the serial provided by my adobe account. It says invalid serial number.This is not a software issue. Everything was working on windows 10 on my old laptop, and the 30 day trial version has no problem running on the new laptop.The serial number has been verified as valid by online support. I was told to deactivate the software on the old laptop. So this has already been done. I know the software is not supported anymore. But the issue is not the software. The issue seems to be the online serial validation not accepting a working serial. Any help would be very much appreciated.Best RegardsChristian

I have an action that runs a few plug-ins, NIK, Luminar and On1. Today, when I tried running the action and when it gets to Luminar, I was getting an alert about "Luminar can't be run", or words to that effect. So I deleted the Luminar plugin part of the action and then tried to re-record that filter, now, the space with that plugin is left blank, (no description). It does work, it's just weird that there is no descriptor there. I have reset the setting for Photoshop, deleted and reloaded Luminar, but still with the same issue.PS 26.10.0, Mac Studio M4 Max,Thanks in advance.  

hey guys, from this morning. i am having a removal tool issue. some times it's working, but mostly not. crashing the app after i canccel or it's automatic after a long wait. What to do? 

When working in the Photoshop Web App I'm unable to change the font that I am working with on Text layers.  The workflow I'm using is: Click the Text Layer button > Use the curser to click where I want the text > Type my text > Highlight my text > Try to change the font.  I am able to change color and size of the text without problem, but not the font. I tried changing from the mobile toolbar as well as from layer properties. I tried closing and relaunching my browser, clearing my cache, logging out and back in, creating a new project, and restarted my computer. The issue persists through it all. I've attached a video to display the issue.  Any advice is welcome!

In a file with 2 large artboards, the background of each board had a circular gradient. When exporting, the circular gradient changed to linear and I couldn't export the original design without first rasterizing the layer so that it wouldn't generate a change in the design. En un archivo con 2 mesas de trabaja de gran tamaño, en cada mesa el fondo tenia degradado circular, al exportgar el degradado circular cambio a lineal y no pude exportar el diseño original sin antes rasterizar la capa para que no generara un cambio en el diseño.
