Photoshop

Hi Guys, I am so frustrated. I have contacted imagentic portraiture several times..but they keep just giving me the same generic answer that Im not copying the code right. Seriously. ?? I have called adobe, apple, Ive unstalled reinstalled everything updated everything... I'm just stuck .been dealing with this for a couple of weeks. I bought portraiture for both photoshop and lightroom. It works perfectly fine on my lap top. but when i try to install the license key to register on my i mac it keeps giving me the error. wrong key code or expired. Which it is not. It is the correct code. It fell like its something or a setting on my iMac that is preventing it from working. Does anyone have any idea? I really can't even edit without it. So Im really behind. A couple of months ago I created a post about how CC app does not show latest versions of the apps and that I cannot update anything. Nothing has changed since then and offered solutions were too inconvenient and I didn't do them. Earlier today I thought what if I try to update them from web app and I clicked install button for each app and it directed to me Creative Cloud app. There I can see them being "updated" (from 24.0 to 24.1.1) to latest versions with one major issue, they are not updated, they are installed as "fresh" so I lost all my preferences, actions, etc. I had custom action sets that are saved in Actions panel but not exported. Is there a way to bring them back? I regularly backup using Time Machine and tried to locate these files with no luck. I don't mind the preferences but getting these custom actions is top priority for me. Appreciate any help.

I am an animator. I use Photoshop to make texture maps for my 3D models.A few years ago, some of the tools I need were removed from Photoshop, namely converting grayscale maps to Normal maps, that ugly lavender used-chewing gum look.This has created a speedbump in my production pipeline. In other words, this is a serious Quality of Life issue for me.Substance 3D doesn't have all of the same tools as Photoshop. It has a lot of bells and whistles I don't need and won't use. It is a gigantic pain in the butt to have to swap programs in the middle of what you're doing just to perform ONE function, especially when your edits might be tiny details that need to then be checked in the game engine or animation software. And the earlier version of Photoshop that is still available and can do that one thing doesn't have all of the tools of today's Photoshop. So, no matter what, Adobe is forcing either compromises or program-swaps on developers like me. That's unacceptable.And I'm at a point

So when i try and use the smudge tool it tells me not enough memory?

Noto Sans JP and Noto Serif JP were added in a Windows 11 update. However, when using these fonts in Photoshop v26.5, the weight is fixed to Thin.There was no such issue with the previous static version of Noto Sans JP.

Hi, I need some help in how to use sky replacement on a photo I have taken of a volcano that has smoke going up into the sky. When I use sky replacement, the volcanic smoke is covered, and when I try to brush over it using a mask, the edges look inauthentic (even with feathering).  Can I get some assistance on the best way to keep the smoke and replace the sky. Any directions/links to videos would be welcome. Sara

I am not able to open WebPShop.plugin on my MacBook which is managed by my company. The managed device settings allow downloads only from verified developers. Has anyone else had this issue? Any solutions would be apreciated. Thanks.

Hi,I am trying to create a texture pattern from the bottom layer and the same being applied in the Bevel & Emboss -> Texture effects, and afterwards being deleted. Hello there, i'm new to Photoshop automation and wanted to try using DataSets to create a Test with a few hundered test images. However when I get to the point where I want to import the CSV file I get the error:"Could not parse the file contents as a data set. There were not enough variable names in the first line of the text file." But when I look at different Videos on YouTube they all have their Data arranged the exact same as me, which is quite confusing.  I've attached my CSV for reference.

Every time I go into a file and make a change and then try to save it, it says I do not have permission. I look at GET INFO and it shows that everyone can read and write and the file is unlocked. Then I open the file again and still it will not allow me to save. Photoshop 2025 on a new iMac.

I think having default shortcuts for exit, closing and closing other and closing all is not enough. We need more ways for accidentally closing documents. Why not Exit without saving shortcut? Exit with Operating system shut down. 😄Seriously, those actions should not have shortcuts by default. 

I have tried to set Photoshopas my default app for opening  .jpg files. When I navigate to Photshop .exe file and open it it does not work, I can only open .jpgs by navigating to their locacation within Photshop file selector.  I'm running Windows 11 and I've noticed that Photoshop is not listed in default apps. I have no issues with psd. files , the Photoshop icon is visible next to the file, implying it's a Photoshop file. I've uninstalled and reinstalled Photoshop and I'm still getting the same problem.

When I click export or export as nothign happens. OS: windows 11hardware: Asus ROG troubleshooting done: -reinstall PS-windows update-uncheck GPU-check disk space-allocate new scratchdisk-reset export settings-no plugins used Recently ran sfc and disk cleanup which may be related.

My Ps is 25.5.0v. Tutorial is Ps Beta 25.5. In my one Parametric Filters are missing. I do not know the reason. How to fix it?     

I'm a fashion/product photographer. A client sent me an outerwear coat to shoot on a mannequin and no shirt for underneath. I thought, "No problem. I can probably generate the neck part of the top with Generative AI." That's a big NO. Every time I try to generate the fill, I receive an error message that wants to send me to the Adobe Use/Guidelines page. My original input was "Women's black ribbed turtleneck shirt". After a few different variations, I wondered if the AI thought I was being "racist" for using the word "black".  No matter what I wrote, an error was always returned sending me to the Guideline page. (None of the guidelines seemed valid for what I asked.) Pity there isn't a way to create what I want with a plug-in for some other AI.

Hi ,I need help, please.How transform white background of Artboard in transparency background ? I don't understand beacause there is no white background in my layers. All layers are transparencies. ThanksVin.

Hello, I was working on a project in Photshop and suddenly some layers developed a permanent artifact. They go away If I paint over it but does anybody know what causes this and how to prevent it? Is it a software or hardware issue? Thank you! 

Hallo zusammen, das Problem: Das generative Füllen ist ausgegraut. Ich kann es nicht anklicken, gibt auch keine Fehlermeldung oder Sonstiges. Es ist einfach nicht verfügbar. Andere lösten es: Ich habe schon mehrere Beiträge darüber gelesen, allerdings konnten alle das Problem lösen indem Sie in Behance das Alter eintragen. Beim Anmelden in Behance erscheint bei mir kein Fenster und ich finde auch keine Möglichkeit mein Alter irgendwo zu ändern. Was könnte noch das Problem sein oder die Lösung bringen?  Info: Das Konto ist Teil unserer Firma und kann (teilweise) über die Admin Console bearbeitet werden. Auch darauf habe ich Zugriff, kann jedoch die Lösung nicht finden.  Photoshop (25.5.1) und Creative Cloud habe ich auf die aktuellste Version geupdatet.

I had a few hundred brushes on my Photoshop. But today when I opened photoshop, all the brushes were gone, except for the default ones and the ones from the last set that I imported in. When I last imported that set of brushes, I clearly remember the rest of the brushes still being there as I was using some new and old ones together, so I don't think I clicked "reset brushes". Also, I can't change the hardness of the brushes, except for the default ones. I already started re-importing some of the lost brushes, but it'll take too long to do all of them so I would really appreciate it if you could help me with this problem
