I am experiencing 3 problems with photoshop When I add a text and I want to go to filter gallery and add HALFTONE to add lines on my text It doesn’t apply it All of my blend modes when i hover on them it either turn them white or black and that's it when I want to make a text transparent after I added effect (changing the R,G,B Channels to make a cool effect) it instantly turn it black and if i want to make the background black or other colors it fully cover the entire text. Its so weird because previously it worked perfectly but when I try to do another one this happen. I tried everything from Uninstalling photoshop, Adobe cleaner tool, to graphics card updates but nothing would work
New version of Save for Web with updated UI will not assign presets (JPEG or PNG) to individual slices. Changing the Preset setting now changes the setting for all user slices. So the workaround is to save out the slices for each format needed separately now. Seems like a bug to me, I have been using this workflow for several years.
When printing in Photoshop the default resolution is 240 dpi. I would like to increase this to 300 dpi and would be grateful for advice on how this can be done.
First, I really like this feature. Having actions available as buttons with assigned shortcuts can significantly speed up repetitive workflows.A few suggestions:Shortcut conflicts: If a shortcut is already in use, Photoshop should show which command or action is using it and allow users to reassign that shortcut directly from the conflict dialog instead of simply blocking the assignment. Editable save settings: For save-related actions (PNG, JPEG, TIFF, PSD, etc.), it should be possible to open and edit the associated save settings directly from this panel, including compression, transparency, ICC profiles, metadata, layers, and other format-specific options. Better keyboard navigation: Pressing Enter should save changes immediately. Pressing Esc should return to the previous screen. The entire interface should be fully keyboard-accessible. Basic UX. Save button placement: The Save button sits at the bottom of the panel. Consider moving it higher, duplicating it at the top, or relying
Hi everyone,I’m having an issue with Photoshop 2026 on Windows 11.Photoshop opens normally and I can create/edit blank documents, but it instantly crashes when opening:- JPG/JPEG files- RAW files- Lightroom “Edit in Photoshop”PNG files open correctly without problems. Also, clicking Preferences > Camera Raw crashes Photoshop immediately.System:- Predator Helios 300- i7 10th Gen- RTX 2060- Lightroom Classic 2026Things already tried:- Reinstalled Photoshop, Lightroom, and Camera Raw- Reset Photoshop preferences- Disabled GPU acceleration- Installed NVIDIA Studio Driver- Cleared Camera Raw cache/settings- Disabled plugins- Restarted Windows multiple timesHas anyone experienced Photoshop crashing only with JPG/JPEG and RAW files while PNG works fine?Thank you!
Hey everyone, i've noticed that when I add bullet-listing styling to my paragraphs and then export them to pdf the symbols don't appear (watch image 1) , they only do when exporting to png or before exporting (see image 2) Does anyone know how to solve this? Or is it a bug? Photoshop 2025, version 26.3.0 release
I was given a lot of photos of diagrams and asked to remove the creases so they would look a bit flatter. How can I do this in Photoshop? The photo shows an example of creases.
i went to developer site, create the project and wanted to add to APIall of the things that i wanted, cannot be added to apii subscribe to creative cloud pro for API and now none of it work. How to make it work?
Is there a way to turn off the sample text in the Photoshop Character palette? I thought I had this one solved by just setting the "Number of Recent Fonts to Display" to "0". This tactic has worked for years and it was working but now the previews are back even with the 0 recent fonts set. I can't figure out how turn them off and I’m about ready to uninstall the most recent Photoshop updates.
I have a new install of Adobe Creative Cloud and Adobe Photoshop. Before I did anything, I tried using the brush tool to paint a line. I discovered that at 100% hardness, the brush tool does not fill the circle that represents the brush all the way to the edge. See attached photos. (1) The first photo shows the brush filling black paint on a gray background. You can see that the paint does not fill in to the edge of the circle. The brush is set to 100% hardness, 100% Opacity, 100% Flow, 10% Smoothing. Default setup from Adobe install. (2) The second photo shows the Settings for the Cursor in Preferences. Again, all default from Adobe. Why is this not filling the circle 100% and how can I change this? Thank you!
My genereative ai credits are disappearing without me using any ai. I opened a jpg in photoshop, went to the adjustments panel and manually used the sliders to adjust the levels. When I opened Photoshop I had 34/1000 credits left. When I saved out my jpg after adjusting the levels I had 33/1000 credits. I did not use any form of the generative ai.Additionally when I do use the generative ai to extend one photo it uses far more than one credit. This morning I started with 60/1000 credits. I opened the jpg I wanted to extend. I used my crop tool to extend all sides to where I wanted them and hit generate to fill in. I flattened my image, saved and closed, my credits went all the way down to 34/1000.
Hello,For several updates now, I’ve lost a very important feature in the Layers panel regarding the blending mode dropdown menu. I used to be able to scroll through the blending modes using the mouse wheel, which was extremely convenient. Now I’m forced to change modes by opening the Layer FX panel, which is much less fluid (I’m on a PC version). What’s even more surprising is that the search filter in the Layers panel, just above the blending mode dropdown, still allows scrolling with the mouse wheel.I hope you can restore this functionality that has always been there. Thank you!
Today I encountered with a Telegram channel which is Uploding Pirated adobe softwares. [Link to piracy site removed] This is the link to channel. I have attached some of the screenshots, there are many softwares. Hope you take actions on it. Thankyou. Mikhel Singh
For well over a year I've had this issue and I thought at first it was a bug that would be corrected in the next update. A ridiculous amount of updates later (seriously, why so often?) and its still happening. I use keyboard shortcuts for tool selection, most commonly the clone stamp, the brush, and the spot healing or remove tool. when I hit the keyboard shortcut to change from remove tool to clone stamp (for example) it switches to the clone stamp tool for less than a second then back to the remove tool. Sometomes I have to hit the shortcut three or four times to get the selection to stick. Its so consistently bad that I've started hitting the shortcut four times by default to make sure. It's a huge time and attention drain. Anybody got any fixes?
Having an issue converting OCIO files from scene referred AcesCG to display referred ICC profiles in Photoshop 2025. From reading the PS documentation I see that Edit > Duplicate to Image Profile command does this, as it offers all the available working ICC profiles as the target settings for the output. If I set the output space to sRGB then then conversion matches fine, but if I select any other RGB profile as the target (such as Adobe RGB, ProPhoto etc) then the colours get too saturated ? Looks like the command preserves the sRGB values but just display them as Adobe RGB/ProPhoto colours, i.e. the same result as Assign Profile from sRGB > Adobe RGB etc in an ICC workflow. and the resulting saturation/hue shifts. Any ideas why this is happening and If this is the correct behaviour and if so, why bother offering other output ICC output profiles and labelling it as a conversion if the gamut is always sRGB ?
I updated Photoshop from 27.7 to 27.8 via the Creative Cloud desktop app. When I launched PS the home screen showed “recent” images which I had last worked on three months ago, and my settings were similarly backdated.I fixed my setup by rolling back to 27.7 and restored preferences from before the update (thanks to Time Machine) but it’s cost me an hour’s work.macOS Tahoe 26.5.2 (25F84), Apple M2 Max
Currently, in Photoshop, the only way to clean up the "Recents" home screen is to clear the entire recent files history (File > Open Recent > Clear Recent File List). There is no way to target and remove just one specific file from the list. The Feature Idea: I would like to request the ability to remove individual files from the "Recent" list (whether they are stored locally or in the Creative Cloud) without actually deleting the physical file from the disk or cloud storage. How it could work: Simply add a small "X" icon (or a "Remove from Recents" option in a right-click context menu) on the corner of each file thumbnail/list item on the Home screen. Clicking it would immediately hide that specific file from the active Recents list. Why this is important: * Privacy: If we are working on a confidential project or presenting our screen to a client, we might want to hide a specific project from the home screen without losing our entire search history or other active projects. Workspa
Brushes suddenly stop working properly with blending modes. No matter what mode is selected its always paint flat color.
I would like to know how to download the files from my Adobe Creative Cloud's storage plan onto my computer so that I can free up space. Your advice is greatly appreciated.
I updated to PS v27.8 and it will not open, no matter how I try. I've restarted my desktop, tried opening directly, tried opening a file, tried opening through Creative Cloud, and I only get a Crash report to fill out. I did the upgrade a couple days ago (Sunday 6/21/2026), and haven’t been able to open Photoshop since. I REALLY need to be able to use it ASAP.
Mac版 v27.8にアップデートして以降、「レイヤーから書き出し」でpngを選択すると、保存先フォルダが存在しないという表示が出て進行されません。v27.7にダウングレードしてもなおりません。Mac はTahoe 26.5.1です。
This is truly bizarre. I created a action to crop a bunch of images. The action only has 2 parts.1. Select Subject2. Image/CropI used Automate/Batch to run it on a folder with 48 small clothing images that I downloaded from a site that sells blank garments. Here’s the crazy part. As I watched the screen run the action, a garment would pop up, momentarily process, and the lights in my room flickered 3 or 4 times, on each garment! LOL There were 48 images, so I had plenty of time to make sure that I’m not imagining it. 48 times my ceiling light flickered, perfectly timed to each imaged just before it closed the image. The image would open, process, lights flicker, then image closed. So what does this mean? Does this mean that Photoshop actually caused an energy surge to do each of these little images. Each image sizes averaged 500KB. I’ve been a Photoshop user for several decades and this is the most bizarre thing I’ve ever seen.I’m using Photoshop 27.8OS Name Microsoft Wi

The Adobe application will not complete any rotations. Instead a orange error is displayed all the time.
I have this recurring problem with Photoshop, and possibly with the other CS applications too. Whenever I disconnect my 27-inch LG UltraFine 5K, Photoshop's window ends up being too large to show its grab-able title bar. I have not been able to figure how to solve this problem. It happens all the time, unless you purposely move Photoshop to the smaller MacBook monitor and resize it before quitting the application. No zooming or toolbar reset or anything else will reset the window to its proper window boundaries.Anyone have any ideas?
