Photoshop

The Photoshop is  really nice. I have been using this for past 2 years. But this subscription model makes me feel like I do not own this one.I am looking forward options.Or is there any plans from Adobe to bring back buying full version option?Thanks.

Hey everyone,I’m trying to recreate a distressed/aged type effect in Photoshop similar to what you'd see on vintage posters or worn signage. I’ve attached an image for reference — you’ll notice the text looks rough, with parts of it eroded or worn away, almost like it’s been scratched or weathered over time.

Hi there,  I was working on a file for the past week which is saved on creative cloud. Last night I was going through minor issues with the document as it was slowing down and not changing the size of one of the images I put, so I saved the document to the cloud and closed it and restarted my laptop in hopes that it will get rid of that problem. I try opening the document and it comes up with an error and says that the Photoshop file is incompatible even though it was made in its newest version and opened on that same version. Could I please get some help with this

Until yesterday, I used BIng to generate AI images.I down load the image I wanted and it opened directly into photoshop.I then saved the image using the "prompt" I used to create the image in bing.If the name was then too long I deleted from the end of the name.SUDDENLY now it only uses the first 5 characters of the prompt and adds a  hyphen and a number.It shows in Bridge with the silly shortened name but in Photoshop in the recently used files the name is correct.Even trying to rename it - it does not always work and gives another version of the silly name but now silly  2. If you try again you get silly name 3!I have sent hours on the phone with the help desk and they cannot solve the problemThey suggest I only use express - which I do not like.I want to be able to use BING as I did until yesterday!

I have recently upgraded to a new Mac Mini M4 with 64gb of RAM. For some reason, certain files are causing Photoshop to hang (not responding) when executing tools that worked better on my aged Intel machine. In general I would say PS is behaving strangely in lots of minor ways since the upgrade. I have reinstalled photoshop, manually reset preferences. It may be that my preferences settings have cuased some of the problems. The file in question in a pretty simple composite to which I haven't even started adding detail. It is currently made up of just six layers of objects and is showing as 125mb in size. PSB format, pixel dimensions are quite large 6404 x 6404px but I assume that is nothing this machine shouldn't be able to handle. When I select crop, it hangs for maybe 30 seconds and Activity Monitor shows Photoshop in red text, not reponding, using 125% of CPU. Dear All, There is something around the ceiling light. It's taken by 360 camera "Ricoh THETA Z1" after cleaning the lens. I would like to make it clean to be visible the light.  Could you tell me how to do it? I guess there is a functionality in Adobe Photoshop(ver.22.2) or LightRoom Classic or After Effects. orientation gets stuck at undo/tools and layers. It just sits there and does nothing. I hover like it says and let it play over and over each one and nothing ever happens.

Bonjour, je suis sur MAc et dernière version de Photoshop et Ilustrator. Le boulot m'a donné des fichiers .AI qui s'ouvrent en couleurs sur Illustrator mais quand je les importe dans photoshop, ils s'ouvrent en noir et blanc. Je ne sais pas pourquoi. Alors je les ai copié en PDF. Des fois, certains docs s'ouvrent tout de même en noir et blanc alors que dans Apercu du Mac, ils sont bien en courleurs et des fois en couleurs....  Ca, c'est mon premier souci. Mon 2eme souci, c'est que j'ai pris un de ces PDF simple, un graphisme noir sur fond transparent issu d'un format .AI que je n'ai pas crée, donné par le boulot. Il s'ouvre en objet dynamique dans Photoshop. Ok mais quand je clique dessus pour en changer la couleur ou quand je fais CALQUE/OBEJTS DYNAMIQUE/MODIFIER LE CONTENU, il s'ouvre en PDF dans Apercu du Mac et non en .PSB sur Photoshop. Auriez-vous une idée de la source du problème s'il vous plait?

If I use magic wand to select a small to medium sized area the process goes fine until later when I view the edited and saved file with explorer and notice the file is corupted - mostly just white background with faint images showing.

Immediately upon startup, it reports an error (picture) and the only thing you can do is confirm and the program closes. Tried a new installation and it's the same. Tried a new installation of the Windows operating system and reinstalled Adobe Photoshop and the error is the same. Please help

Hi,So basically my patterns that i've created have dissapeared from the patterns window. This is the second time this has happened and some of these patterns were literally created a few hours ago. I have no idea what i've done wrong as i save all my files reguarly and my photoshop is up to date. It there a way to get them back because thats hours of work i've just lost. Any suggestions would be greatly appriciated.  Thank you

Hi Everyone, I have two .PSDC files that I saved as a copy to local SSD.  The first one has a size of 2.57 MB, and the other 2.58 MB. Once converted into WebP files, one ends up with a file size of 43 KB, and the other 193 KB. Why so much difference?  The both compressions were set at Lossy 65%. Is this a good percentage for website use? Regards, -Ron

I am trying to change the color of one of my layers inside photoshop so that it matches the color of the background. Whenever I select this layer and then try to utilize the color sliders inside the Properties tab that opens after clicking one of the Adjustment options they don't appear. Is this is located in the preferences/settings of Photoshop where it only needs to be 'checked' to appear? I am at a loss. Any help on this issue would be greatly appreciated! 😊

When I try applying outer glow, this happens... I made my logo on a different software and want to use photoshop to add additional effects. However when I use the outer glow it gets limited by this arbitrary bounding box. I'm assuming I need it to act like a normal object but I don't know how. I tried doing stuff like raterizing and converting to smart object but none of it has worked. How do I fix this issue?

I no longer see the search/filter function at the top of the Layers Panel in Photoshop 26.5.0.I'm running on a Mac mini M4 Pro with macOS Sequoia 15.4.Is there a configuration setting someplace that needs to be toggled to get that feature back?

I just recently bought a Lenovo Ideapad computer that has Windows 11 on it.  In 2013, I bought the student's version of Adobe CS6, and I tried to install it on my new computer.  However, when I did, I got all sorst of trouble!  It said that there was a driver I didn't have that I needed, and in the end, I had to restart my computer from scratch.  I never did download it at all.  Is there a way to do that, and how?  If not, why, and can I get any Adobe product like it?  I have a lot of brushes and fonts I used with my CS6 that I would like to continue to use in a new program.  HELP!!

I just switched over Photoshop CC from PS5 and I am encountering an issue that was not happening before. The smart objects are being saved with extra numbers on the end of the name. I found another thread that explained why, but I can't figure out how to change it. I am able to change the name in the layers panel, but when I open up the embedded file, the name has the additional numbers on it. How do I change the embedded file name?

I use fonts with glyphs and suddenly the glyphs are stuck on and won't turn off. So there are glyphs on each letter that I use on a font that has glyphs. I've tried everything I can find as a fix and see that others have the same problem. Please can you work on a fix? This is really annoying. Thank you. : )

i have been struggling with this problem for over 2 hours, I'm trying to upload a video into photoshop and it wont let me. everytime I try it turns into a picture, and when I try to zoom it in it tells me to convert it into a smart object. meanwhile, the dynamiclinkmediaserver application is bouncing up and down in my dock trying to open. it then stops and I check for more info and it says "application not responding" I updated the photoshop to the new update, I don't know if it was that caused it, but I downgraded and still doesn't work. I've reinstalled, restarted my mac, etc. i don't know what to do at this point, HELPP!!app ver.26.4.1Macbook Air M1 2020
