can I still purchase old version of photoshop like CS5?

I have a bunch of logos that have a blue background with white detail. The white detail, because it's anti-aliased, has some of it as a gray scale.  What I need is blue detail, with a white background. I'd like the blue detail to also include the tone or brightness of the way the white detail was. In searching, everything I've found has been using "invert", which turns the white into black, and the blue into orange. I've found nothing that shows how to reverse colors. 

PS26.2, WIN11----------------------------------------I am not able to use PS since the app thhinks I am logged with another device, have anyone experienced similar issues? Support says there is an outage.... support is never reliable.  I experienced lots of troubles logging in in the past, so much I had to include swearing in my password to cope with frustration. Now I am writing ghere because I'm trying to be shut out after reseting password.... very risky.  I am logging with DESKTOPxxx 

Is it just me or has the quality and performance of PS been on a steady free fall downwards?  I am working with a file that has 6 art boards, all of them 1920px wide. I nudge one of the artboards and photoshop freezes, and either takes 5 minutes to compelte the nudge, or just crashes.I have a gaming computer capable of great things. This is not a "me problem"  Is there a fix to this? I just updated photoshop and its worse than ever.  Anything we photoshop users can go back to having photoshop performance levels from 2018?   Best, 

I changed my membership from 1 Tb to 20 GB on July 29, 2023. The next period will therefore start on 29 July 2025. I have heard that in the future you will have to pay annually. Can I then indicate on July 29 that I want to pay the subscription per year? Or should they do so before 15 January? January 15 is a date that I have heard but cannot find anywhere, not even that I will have to pay my subscription per year in the future. Thanks for an answer

I'm trying to find a really good, detailed description of how Select > Sky works. It has bitten me a couple times, especially when the first attempt using Select > Sky did not produce a complete selection of the sky and I then needed to use another tool to add to the selection.  I've learned quite a bit through experimentation, but I'm wondering if someone has actually written about or made a video with useful material on this topic, specifically identifying the limitations of Select > Sky.  What I am finding is that Select > Sky will work quite well in certain situations, particularly those where the sky is significantly different in color or brightness from the adjoining non-sky areas, in other words it is easy to find the edge between the sky and non-sky parts.  In those cases the sky area appears white in the mask and the non-sky areas appear black.  However, even when there is a well defined boundary, I also find that the "marching ants" are not a t

After updating to version ps 26.0 the layers in a video timeline are not played back anymore after pressing the play button or the space bar. The playhead does'nt move. The playback of an imported video-layer works fine. Have anyone else experienced the same problems?

Well, I wish I could report a smooth transition, however, I can't get past the opening screen on my 2017 iMac Pro running Ventura w/32gb RAM.  All other software, LR and LrC runs smoothly.  All Adobe Software is running just fine on my Macbook Air.  I am wondering if my Photoshop Elements 2022 on the Mac could be the culprit?  Having said that, I am blown away at what is in these packages and I have not even begun to put them through their paces, just a couple edits with the presets in LR.  Perhaps, the information below will help:   Model: iMac18,3, BootROM 529.140.2.0.0, 4 processors, Quad-Core Intel Core i5, 3.4 GHz, 32 GB, SMC 2.41f2Graphics: Radeon Pro 570, Radeon Pro 570, PCIe, 4 GBDisplay: iMac, Retina 5K (5120 x 2880), Main, MirrorOff, Online

I want to save my edited tiff that was made in Cinema 4D as a png or jpeg without losing my detail in the highlights of my image. However no matter how i do the conversion it has not worked and converting the image to 16bit makes it very washed out and lose a lot of detail. 

I send images from LRC to PS to edit and after completing my edits I save the file so it can be 'returned' to LRC for final adjustments and management. Recently my images returning from Photoshop are corrupted and I have reset my PS settings. I'm using a Macbook Pro M3 (OS Sonoma 14.4.1) and the latest LRC, PS, and ACR. Has anybody exprienced this and has a solution?

I wish to load at Photoshop startup a simple ExtendScript, which loads and stores some variables from the environment. The script itself is simple and already tested out to be working correctly, however I have troubles setting it up to run on Photoshop CC 2019 automatically at startup on MacOS Mojave. According to both ADOBE PHOTOSHOP CC SCRIPTING GUIDE 2019 and ADOBE PHOTOSHOP CC JAVASCRIPT SCRIPTING REFERENCE 2019 the script only needs to be placed inside the startup folder located at:~/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Startup Scripts/or we want to limit it to Photoshop only, then inside a separate folder:~/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Startup Scripts/Adobe Photoshop/However this seems to not be the case in MacOS Mojave at least. While it works in the general/global Library folder and its parent:/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Startup Scripts/Adobe Photoshop/It does not work from the user level library hierarchy (~/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Startup Scripts/).   I developed a CEP plugin and have been using it for years. Now with version 26.1 of Photoshop the message appears that it cannot be loaded because it was not signed correctly. Can anyone help me?

Been using PS for about 4 months and this is the first time it won't let me deselect from Marquee, Quick Select, or Magic Wand. I can click and place it in other places and I can access the other tools but of course can't use them outside of the marked area. I just know it's something simple but I can't figure it out.

Hello, I have an issue where when I am trying to open a file in Photoshop it just stuck and the only way I can get around that is to close the program completely (forcefully) and that's it, I pretty much can never open that file because it won't load on my computer. Furthermore, it happens to many files and not just a single file. Note that I am aware the first thing you are going to suggest is to update to a newer version, I am well aware on that, but I did tried it and I still have the same issue, just stuck and never works. In the newer version I had many more problems that the support team wasn't able to resolve and that's why I had to roll-back to this version, but I also prefer that one. PS version:  22.x.xOS: Window 10amout of RAM: 64GBspare hard disk capacity: 500GB (C:\) and 3TB (D:\) both are setup to run with Photoshop.Thank you.

When opening PSD files, the app freezes and just says "Reading photoshop format" but never actually opens the files. During this time, I am unable to do anything in the app aside from close it. I've tried resetting preferences, redownloading the app, etc and none of it seems to work. I try to open psd files and it just freezes with that "Reading photoshop format" text.

Hi,ever since Pshop 4.1 I have wanted a brush choice with a far greater spread of softness feather beyond the opaque dark centre., as if the hardness slider was twice as long.Having just upgraded to 26.2 still we have the exact same limiting brush as 30 years ago.Very dissapointing.in 17.1.1. raw there is a brush with far greater soft area compared to centre dense area. Why cant we have that in photoshop ?Why though in raw mode is the keyboard [ and ] keys control over brush size going from 2mm to 6mm in one click, no decent increments, unusable for painting into sharp corners. Even the slider for size goes 1 then 2 and a relatively massive difference in size.Also the feather is back to front, in Pshop far left is soft, in raw converter far RIGHT is soft. Its called feather and in pshop hardness. Its as if raw converter and Pshop are designed by two totally separate organisations. As shown in the attached video, pressure sensitivity works fine, but there is a bug where pressure is not applied at the very moment I start drawing a line with the Apple Pencil. Even after restarting both Photoshop and Sidecar, the issue persists. I've been learning Photoshop the last couple months and I keep running into this issue where my cursor exclusively becomes the select tool. No matter what tool I pick, it will only drag and select pieces of my project. This has happened multiple times over the time I've used PS, it happens nearly every couple hours that I use the application now. If I shut down photoshop, anything I type or click on my desktop acts like a hotkey, like scaling a website up or down when I use the scroll wheel, or typing keys in a browser opens up caches or shows me my history.
