Photoshop

After a recent update, I can no longer permanently turn off “Show Extras” and layer/selection edges. I don’t want any edges, bounding boxes, etc showing. How can I turn these off globally and permanently like I could before? When I close all files, those options under View are greyed out.

Yesterday morning it was working just fine at first, but by about the 10th photo I was editing, the Selection Brush’s add more setting stopped functioning. It performs like the add less. The add less works correctly. I cleared my browser cache, restarted my browser, tried a different browser, restarted my computer, and none of those helped. I asked the built in AI and they advised trying in an incognito window incase it was a plug-in interfering. Still no difference. I tried a different image, thinking maybe that was the issue. No change. The AI said that it is most likely a bug on your end, so here we are. Note: No, I do not have the ability to install the desktop version on this particular PC.

All of a sudden, when I open any image in Photoshop, the colors appear to be desaturated...In Photoshop only. When I open that same image in Window Picture Viewer, or Quicktimer, or even if I drag the image into a brower window, the colors appear fine. But in Photoshop, something is clearly wrong. Now, I can make color adjustments to the image, but when I save and reopen reopen it in another application, I can see that color changes have been made, but they still don't match what Photoshop is displaying.The images are RGB image...I've checked the color space setings in Photoshop, and they are the default (Edit > Color Settings: North American General Purpose 2 / RGB: sRGB IEC61966-2.1 / CMYK: US Web Coated (SWOP) V2, etc, etc). I also made sure View > Proof Setup was set to: Working CMYK. I even reset Photoshop to it's default settings (by holding down CTRL-ALT-SHIFT on launching Photoshop)...But the images still appear desaturated when I open them in Photoshop...So, I don't unde

Issue summary: A smart object produces unexpected behaviour when dragging a smart object with polar coordinates applied to a new document depending on where you drop it off on the canvas. Product and version: 27.8.0 Operating system: Windows 11 Steps to reproduce:  1. Create a square document 2. create a gradient (or any other content) and turn it into a smart object 3. Apply the polar coordinates filter 4. drag and drop the smart object to a new document 5. depending on where you let go with your mouse on the canvas, the filter outputs different results Expected result: same output as the document the object was copied from Actual result: result depends on placement on canvas, which can’t be changed by repositioning the smart object. double-clicking the smart object also does not help. it seems like the polar coordinates filter is stuck to the coordinates where you let the mouse go. Environment- Windows 11 Pro 25H2, OS Build 26200.8968, x64- Photoshop 27.7 (20260514.r.11) and 27.8 (20260610.r.13)- NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 SUPER, driver 32.0.16.1047ProblemPhotoshop cannot complete startup on Windows 11 25H2. I have been using PS since 1999 and these new versions [cursing removed] are unusable. I have spent days trying to solve erros and bugs. Why did you nuke such a well oiled software. almost every update since 2018 [cursing removed].... why is there no alternative to PS [cursing removed].   why break something that worked so well decades ago

Heya adobe collective.I somehow accidently created these new visual guides and i cant work out to get rid of them except by hiding extras and its not a fix and they keep coming back. I know its something simple and something new. 

update from 25.12  to 26.10surprise to see the instability of the [ remove tool ]  after 3 to  4  stroke photoshop freeze and after 10s a message appear saying not enough RAM memories.. any workaround ? I have 64g RAM PS I did a clean uninstall of the previous photoshop version befor einstalling the new version 26.10

I ran tests on all of this the last 2 days. Previous AI moves before activating the Credentials are not logged anywhere. The exif data does show layers being added but not if it was AI assisted or generated layer. The record of Everything AI in the process, only will show if creds, activated  and .c2paws created. Shame it can’t be included into the Photoshop file and then in the exif data, but I can only assume the data following is too much. Regardless I see this system being totally problematic. Since smart objects are contained in the psd and Psb format, I would assume it is possible to get this info into the container at some point? Interested to hear adobe experts views on this..

Hello everyone.In the past, I would shoot RAW, and I would also shoot a RAW file of the Passport Photo Color Checker for camera calibration. Inside Adobe Camera Raw, I created a DNG file, and I used the Color Checker Passport to generate a calibration profile, which I saved in this folder: C:\Users\User Name\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\CameraRaw\CameraProfilesLater, inside Camera Raw under Camera Calibration, I would select the profile name created from the Passport calibration.It seems that Camera Calibration inside Camera Raw is different now. In other words, I can’t select my custom calibration profile anymore.Thanks.

I recently compared Firefly, Gemini Nano, and FLUX 1 Kontext Pro inside Photoshop. One gives me ideas in seconds with different generations vs the time it takes to draw one sketch or composed one. It’s an incredible power, but I wonder if we’re losing our creative "gut feeling" in the process. Design has changed for many. In Photoshop, AI has turned the canvas into an interactive partner. Adobe Creative Cloud isn't allowing me to download Photoshop or InDesign on my laptop because it says I don't meet the system requirements. However, when I click the three-dot menu for more options, I don't see the option to download older versions.My PC is running Windows 11, has 8 GB of RAM, and an Intel processor (Intel Celeron 4205U)

Bonjour, Je fais de la retouche photo et j’utilise régulièrement LIGHTROOM qui fonctionne parfaitement.Depuis quelques temps je suis passé sur PHTOSHOP et CAMERA RAW mais celui-ci plante régulièrement avec le message suivant : “Le processeur graphique a rencontré une erreur irrécupérable. En raison d’une erreur d’exécution, l’accélération GPU a été désactivée pour le reste de la session”. Ca n’a pas l’air de planter sur PHOTOSHOP.PHOTOSHOP et CAMERA RAW sont à jour.J’ai regardé sur le web et appliqué toutes les astuces ainsi que les recommandations Adobe mais rien n’y fait. Ma carte graphique est bien compatible (NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 8 Go de mémoire vidéo - avec les pilotes mis à jour et les paramétrages pour PHOTOSHOP réglés). J’ai une tour avec un processeur INTEL i7-4700 et 64 Go de RAM, un écran 27” ASUS QHD(2560x1440). Auriez-vous une solution ?Merci de votre aide
