Photoshop

Using Photoshop 27.3.1. Used File>Scripts>Load Files Into Stack. In the dialogue box I clicked on Browse, and located two photo files (.psd format)I clicked on them and clicked OK. I checked “Attempt to Automatically Align Source Images. Clicked OK. The images successfully stacked. However all of the SINGLE ADJUSTMENTS LAYERS grayed out and could not be used.  This is not supposed to happen. I tried again. This time I opened the two .psd files into my photography workspace. Then I selected File>Scripts>Load Files Into Stack. I then clicked on “Add Open Files” and the box for auto alignment. This time, the files successfully stacked and now the Single Adjustment layers remained white and available to use.   Weird bug.

The preview function is not working. The preview checkbox is selected. I've tested the preview for levels and it is working there.

I would love to be able to tun off the brush outline, while painting it can really get in the way especially using brushes that have a wide range of size using pen pressure. It makes a huge outline and small marks. I would love to be able to turn down the opacity ideally, from 0 to 100. 

Hello,In Adobe applications, the sidebar (the one at the top of the windows) only works when I click on the top-left corner. I can’t move the windows by dragging from the center or the right side anymore, which is what I usually do.It’s quite frustrating. How can I fix this?Thank you very much.

I have recently updated to Photoshop CC and can no longer save files to ico format. In CS6 I had a plugin from this website: http://www.telegraphics.com.au/sw/ but they don't have anything for CC listed yet. I tried to drag that plugin into the CC plugin folder and it didn't seem to change anything, restarted Photoshop and the machine as well.Does anyone know if there is a new plugin out there. I used google and couldn't find anything, maybe I'm searching for the wrong words. Any help on this would be appreciated, I need to make a little more than 300 icons this month for my companies product and don't want to have to install CS6 back on the machine.

Hello,Here's my problem:I open Photoshop (27.4) on Windows 11 I open a PSD file I create a layer I double-click on it / I open "Layer Style" via the top menu And error message : I don't understand why this is based on a “smart object” because I have the same problem with a regular layer.I reinstalled this version of Photoshop, installed the latest update for my graphics card with NVIDIA App, restarted the PC, uninstalled Photoshop to reinstall the previous version (27.3.1)But nothing works

It won’t open 

I keep getting this Error 11 message.  I have shut down and rebooted my Macbook Pro 2023  (M2 Pro,  Sequia 15.5)  and cannot make it work.

Is the font or text size slightly different  in the Canvas size window compared to the image size window. It just doesn't feel like it matches the rest of the UI anymore, is it just me? 

I'm trying to resize my image by 25%, but when I try it goes to 99,9%.When I try resizing by pixels it won't do that at all.I have Resample checked.I have been working with Photoshop for 30 years and have never had any problem with this.

I'm using version 25.12.1 and after the recommendations of another community member, the program still randomly resets itself.  It will either a.) reset the workspace, plugings, actions or b.) will reset the hotkeys.It's a random thing and happens at least once or twice a month.Any suggestions - I've uninstalled and reinstalled.  I've made sure that it's being run in Administrator mode.  I'm signed in to the Creative Cloud when I run it.

HI All, I've just updated photoshop to include the new Generative function (AI) and seem to have los the "remove background" option bar that used to appear below a picture. Anyone know how to get it back or how [cursing removed] do you do remove background now?   Cheers Nick

I’m having insane Photoshop issuesI’m running Windows 11 on a Dell 8660 precision, I have 128 GB of RAM using   Photoshop 27.4Never really had any problems with this machine But I’m having massive problems with PhotoshopTool, jumping, lately when I’m using a tool and I switched to another tool using the keyboard it jumps back. It’s a joke. I’ll go from Zoom to pen tool and as soon as I put the cursor over and start to work, it jumps back to Zoom or really any tool if I direct select the tool, it still happens but not as bad as when I use my keyboard. Now before anyone blames my keyboard, I have no issues with my keyboard at all except tool selection and Photoshop, this has been happening for a while, but with this latest version of Photoshop, it’s happening constantly. I’ve rebooted my machine. I’ve updated my machine. It’s still happening.Next issue isFreezing! Photoshop locks up constantly every day it’ll lock up from 30 seconds all the way up to five minutes. When using the pen tool to stroke a path, it always converts to the wrong brush. (1080 custom brush)I'm trying to use a solid round brush, but it always converts back to the 1080 brush.

Photoshop CS6When you hold down the mouse button to select a tool, it no longer shows the names of the tools except the very top one.For instance:  If I select the Brush Tool, but hold down the mouse button, it shows the icon for the Pencil, but it does not show the name, “Pencil”.I don’t know all the names of the tools so this is a hindrance. Please advise.  I did not see this issue duplicated hence the bug report.
