Photoshop

I removed the Nik Collection 8 from my Mac but the still show up in the Creative Cloud panel (Plugin) as well as in Photoshop. How can i remove the entirely. Seems they’re just still menu items.regardsReimund

After cropping out the layer outside of the original image, GE should fill in the blanks.It is telling me to drag out the canvas first but I’ve already done so.I attached a screenshot. 

Macbook Air M5, 25mb ram, 2tb hard drive with 1.25tb space on the drive.Photoshop 27.5.0All works fine opening raw files from a Canon R5 (.CR3 format) but when I try to use Super Resolution in Camera Raw window it stops with an error: “Could not open “_123456.CR3” because the file-format module cannot parse the file.” I have used super resolution with other CR3 files in previous versions on an M1 Macbook Air with no issues at all. Is this a bug or have you guys changed something?

When selecting a menu object (drop down menu, a slider with number in field (such as the crop aspect ratio menu or the feather amount in Select and Mask) or a check box (like the preview check box in Select and Mask), the menu object stays highlighted after clicking it. I’ve been using the “Select People” feature in Camera Raw since it was introduced, and it’s always worked well for me until recently. Now it has completely stopped working.Every time I try to use it, it processes for a moment and then returns the error: “Unable to select people in this photo.” This happens on every image I try, even simple headshots with a single person clearly facing the camera.I’ve already tried updating Photoshop and Camera Raw, uninstalling and reinstalling both, and updating my operating system. None of that has fixed the issue. I’ve also confirmed that all other masking tools (object, background, sky, etc.) are working as expected. It’s only “Select People” that fails.For reference, I’m running Adobe Photoshop v27.5.0 on a 2020 iMac (3.6 GHz 10-core Intel Core i9).This is a feature I rely on regularly, so it’s been incredibly frustrating to lose it without any clear reason.Has anyone else run into this issue or found a fix?

Photoshop Wont let me Double Click into my text box anymore and I have to use the thumbnail, which throws a wrench into my work flow. I have to think the only thing could be is that this only. happens when using artboards? there or a few other things like that and I've noticed that the only difference that's obvious to me right now is that I'm using art boards and I wasn't before. Could that be it?

Tight label edges trip up Photoshop's selection tools because the software struggles distinguishing fine fabric detail from background pixels. Switching to the pen tool instead of quick selection fixes most close-cut problems immediately. Hi, seem to have an issue when trying to use my Fill Short Cut (Shift/F5) iwhen using Logi MX Keys keyboard. Dont know if it is the keyboard or a software switch I am not turning off or on in Photoshop. I have examined preferences/ short cut keys and memnues. The default is correctly set for Photoshop. Any Ideas?

Hello, I am a CTE and Art teacher in Seattle and we are currently struggling with the Photoshop tutorials. I am using Google Chrome, on desktop computers newly purchased by my district. I am having issues with students seeing the “learn” button and being able to access the same tutorials in the same way which is key for teaching a class of 30 students. We’ve tried resetting the workspace, next I am going to try Purge and purging all. What else do you recommend? IT support in my district does not know how to use the program… 

Hi everyone,I’m currently using an older PC with limited hardware performance, and I’m exploring the possibility of running Adobe applications through Microsoft Azure (virtual machine/cloud setup).I have a few questions and would really appreciate your insights:Can Adobe apps (like Photoshop, Premiere Pro, After Effects, etc.) run smoothly on Azure without noticeable lag, especially on a low-spec local machine? How dependent is the experience on internet speed and latency? Will the performance be comparable to running Adobe apps on a high-end local desktop? Is the overall experience (UI responsiveness, rendering, playback, etc.) the same as the native desktop version, or are there limitations? I tried to use Firefly upscaler to enlarge an album cover, but I’m getting a guidelines error.   “We encountered and issue with your result.  Please view our guidelines and try again."  The problem is a very simple and tasteful nude illustration on the cover.  If I remove the nude artwork, the upscale is generated without any problems.   Images are below.  Image on left would not upscale, but the image on the right upscaled without a problem.  While I understand this is intended to prevent users from creating pornography or images with explicit nudity, this image is clearly neither of those things.  I was able to use a competitors software to get the job done, but it would be a more efficient workflow to stay in Photoshop.    I've seen numerous posts from users in the fashion industry that cannot upscale images for the same reason.  If you worked for a publication like Playboy, I would imagine the generative tools would be completely useless for editing their content. There needs to be

The generative upscale in Photoshop has crashed. Neither Topaz nor Firefly has been working for hours. The loading bar fills up but then it gives an error.

I create renders in V-Ray/Maya. I’ll have a PSD that is a stack of different render elements, all of which have had the ‘As Transparency / As Alpha Channel’ option specifically selected when I’m creating my composition.Often, I’ll start compositing as soon as my render has started, rather than waiting for the final image. If I save out the render elements again whilst my render is running, or when it’s finished, when Photoshop automatically updates the smart objects it breaks what option I’ve chosen and will choose it’s own option - I think it goes by whatever I selected last.Can Adobe please make it so that the render layers keep their chosen option when they are (automatically) updated?

Ive been following everything and i still cant do itI press option and click on the layer mask channel to paste my texture overlay and it still doesnt paste. No matter if i do it the shortcut way or the way through the menu and ive reset my tool and the app and still nothing im so frustrated. It lets me edit the layer mask with brushes but i cant paste anything into the layer.

Seeking assistance for a zooming issue. I have already checked and unchecked enable gestures and scroll to zoom, ensured that photoshop is using my systems graphics processor and the issue persists. I am able to zoom by pinching on other applications so it is not a hardware issue. The left-right scrolling also seems to be inverted. I have also uninstalled, reinstalled both photoshop 2024 and 2025. Any assistance would be much appricated as this has entirely derailed my workflow

When trying to add a new color swatch the first in line is replaced instead. Not possible to create a new one. Any suggestions?
