Photoshop Elements

When I edit files in PSE 2026, the settings 'Include in the Elements Organizer' and 'Save in Version Set with Original' are no longer sticky. I have to explicitly set them each time I edit a file. They used to be sticky and remember their last settings. 

PSE has been bad at playing videos for as long as I can remember. For example:Playing videos is really slow. With some videos I get 'Preparing file for playback...' What exactly is going on? File Explorer on my Windows PC can play back these files almost instantly, why can't PSE?The video player is weirdly modal - it pauses when I click away from it. Why?If you're playing a video and you drag the scrubber bar, the video pauses and you have to press Play again. Why can't it just continue playing like every other video player? It seems like the video playback component of PSE could use a bit of attention.

18pt type when correctly sized is perfect for application. Sometimes it's so small it's impossible to see - and the maximum size 72pt is also barely adequate. Sometimes rebooting makes it work correctly, sometimes not. Any advice appreciated. (Computer 3 mo. old Dell Pro Micro Plus QBM 1250)

Hi.Is there any way of installing plugins e.g Topaz Photo Ai etc in Elements 2025.I have tried through the settings,preferences and this will not work and i have also tried navigating to Applications then highlighting Topaz AI and opening up and copying the file and pasting into the Elements plugins folder but thi still doesn't work and i get the dialogue box that the plugin is broken even though all works fine in another application and as a stand alone on my Mac. I'm not sure if the option of installing other plugins into Elements is now available but i am sure i have been able to use them in previous versions.Any help will be gratefully appreciated  

PS Elements 2024 not displaying background color when display preferences set to Automatic  It does when set to Small 100% Display, but then the whole screen is so small to comfortable see anything.  One suggestion was to reset the Workspace but it happens that the Windows Panel doesn't the Workspace option either.How do I resolve the display with the tool bar? 

I can not print my pictures from Photoshop Elements 15 any longer. When I click on the ”Print” button,, all what happens is that the pgrogram shuts  down. Grateful for help.Stefan

I am unable to import TIF files into my elements 26 organizer.  I get a message saying these files are not supported. However, these are files that have been loaded into Elements 25 with no problem. I can import jpg files, just not tif files.   I am able to open the tif files in the elements 26 editor and process them, but trying to import to a catalog is not possible.  Suggestions?

I purchased and registered a copy of Photoshop Elements 15.  I have entered the serial number from my Adobe account.  When I try to use the software it give me the below error.  But when I check my activated devices, I have NONE. How can I resolve this?  Please help.gurn3

Have been using PE 2024 for months. Today Editor won't open. ERROR : APP linked to Ipp Libraries.  Ver 2021.6  No DLL from list found.  ippcve9.dll (most suitable) Its been fine. What happened overnight and how to fix it?

For the last couple of days I have been unable to download any adobe stock backgrounds.  It says we are unable to process your request.  Please try again later.Is there a bigger issue out there....anyone else having this problem?Sue October 10, 2025

I am so angry with Adobe. I have PSE 21 working perfectly fine on my PC I then get a new laptop and download it only to find it won't accept the serial number and gives the error that because it is installed on 2 other machines (it isn't!) that it won't work. I contact Adobe they take over my laptop remotely to try and fix this but can't and I am left hanging waiting for an email response from the team that can supposedly help with the issue. Today they close my case without any further action or response and I am left with no option but to upgrade for £73! This is so unfair just because I got a new laptop.

This is iteration 54231 of this question, I'm sure, but for your amusement...I have a large number of digital pictures, most likely a subset of which are in the Photoshop Elements Organizer. I'd like to -- start removing duplicates, which I would classify as same file name / same date taken / same file size -- a side benefit of this would be that I'd get a list of pictures scattered across my disks which are NOT in PSE, which would hopefully be of a small enough number (ho, ho, ho) that I could pick through these at my leisure, deleting any that might be incriminating <g>. -- after that, insert GPS map images if the pictures have GPS data stuck up in the EXIF, for those times when I go back and think "Oh, nice. WTF was this ?". There's the hand-include of info from Garmin that would also be useful. -- determine for future use whether PSE Organizer is really the place to store this info. I'd rather not build a RYO solution unless pushed to the edge of the cliff

Running latest Windows 11 with 32GB RAM, RTX 4060, 10th gen 7i-8 cores, plenty of storage room.I have the Dxo Nik Collection 7 and Photoshop Elements 2025. After a few days of searching and fiddling around, I finally found out that N7 was originally configured by DxO to work with Photoshop and not to fully work How to usewith PSE 2025. What a disappointment! Hopefully, someone on the forum will be able to show me how to use N7 with PSE 2025. BTW, right now, only 3 of N7's modules and its palette are on PSE 2025...and they don't fully work. If you can't guide me to how to use N7 with PSE 2025, then tell be how to remove N7 from PSE. Thanks.

HiWe recently moved computers and as part of that moved over all our photos, unfortunately we did this in Windows rather than Adobe.This did mean we could put them in a better folder e.g. C:/Photos (they are then sorted in a folder for each year) as over several years of moves in Adobe the catalog had ended up in C:/photos/Users/<username>/Pictures/Photos.If I want to put Elements on the new machine and recreate my Catalog with alll my Tags etc, then I think I will have to do the Catalog backup and restore in Elements, effectively duplicating the copy we already did. However I wanted to ask first in case there is any other option to point to the newly copied files. Could I just copy the catalog folder over or would I still lose my tags?I still have the old machine with everything on it.Thanks

Photoshop Elements 10. Can someone please HELP. I have had Phohtoshop Elemets 10 since 2012, I have changed to a new Desktop computer and it is running Windows 11. I have just found out that Elements 10 does not work with Windows. What can I do, I am a pensioner and can not afford to upgrade to the newest Elements. HELP PLEASE.

Ich versuche mich bei photoshop elements 2024 an zu melden mit gültiger seriennummer, danach schließt sich das Fenster und öffnet sich nach ein paar sekunden wieder. Seport konnte mir auch nicht weiter helfen. Neuinstalation brachte auch keinen erfolg.Die Galerie läst sich ohne Probleme öffnen.

Bonjour, J'ai un ancien adobe photishop éléments 9 et première éléments en version physique. Le numéro avec L'usure c'est effacer ou puis je trouver le numéro de série hormis derrière la jaquette.Merci pour les réponses 

In Elements 2026 in the Save As dialog, I am expecting that checking "As a Copy" will automatically add a suffix to the original filename so that I can easily save a copy of my image rather than overwriting the original. But, the "As a Copy" checkbox appears to do nothing.  This caused me to accidentally overwrite a few originals.

I have just bought PSE 2026 Elements and Premiere, and have the notification.  When paying for it I tried to go back to check something, then could not go forward again, so although I have order number and order ID by email, that is it.  How do I upgrade these in Organizer and Editor on 2 computers?  Currently have PSE2025 and used Elements for 20 years. Thank you.

Photoshop Elements 2025 freezes when i try to open a camera raw file. However Elements 2022 works perfectl;y with camera raw files. I have tried un-installing The camera Raw plugin and re-installing it but it doesn't make any difference. Appreciate any ideas  to resolve this.

I recently scanned my C drive using Disk Savvy Pro and discovered that one of the largest users of space on my C drive was C:\Users\Ted\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Elements Organizer\25.0\CAHeadless. It contains 14.4 GB of readable text formatted LOG files. There are 519 files of this type in the directory. Here is a typical example of the filename: CAHeadless_e060d772-1786-42b4-b5d1-a9be3852b40e.log. Are these files needed for the normal operation of the PSE 2025 Organizer?Can I delete them?  

HiAm testing the latest Elements 2024 and wanted to start using the Organizer to make library more manageable (I have Elements 13 but can't get it to load on new PC due to a license loop at start-up, thought maybe a good time to upgrade).So far I just tested importing two folders, maybe 200ish files each mostly photos, some videos.One of these lives on my NAS as a mapped network drive - browsing this folder in the Organizer is extremely slow and painful, eg. huge delay on scrolling, not useable really and that's with just one folder. I assumed thumbnails would be generated and stored locally, is there something I'm missing?I tested a second folder saved locally and it is definitely much faster. However I see other users complaining about slow performance also - adding another SSD to save a copy of all the photos locally could be an option but would want to be sure it would definitely work before doing that?!(Just to add - pc I'm using is a 12th gen intel laptop with 16gb ram, fast 5ghz
