Just upgraded from Phootoshoop 2025 to Phootoshoop 2026 (27.8.0). When running large batch jobs get this [removed]:Have 40GB RAM so that’s not the prob. My (wild) guess is that the Phootoshoopers have messed with the “close” command - files are closed but their RAM remnants are not purged.End up having to split single jobs into multiples (huge headache), never happened with Phootoshoop 2025. My imac is a powerful imac intel i7 - unable to install the latest photoshop because of compatibility.please provide a link to a working download link version for intel i7? photoshop 2024? I cant find any sort of access to older versionsthank you

Each Artboard contains several layers (text, shapes, images, etc.).For each Artboard, I'd like to:Select all layers inside that Artboard only (excluding hidden and locked layers). Convert those layers into a single Smart Object. Rename the Smart Object using the Artboard's name. Center the Smart Object horizontally and vertically within the Artboard. We are experiencing an issue with Photoshop on our MacBooks. Essentially, Photoshop is unable to overwrite existing files. This happens both when using the normal save function (Command + S) and when using Save As with the same filename.When we try to save, Photoshop displays the error message "Disk Error", and the file is not saved The scratch disk is not full, and the issue only occurs when working with files stored on our file server. We have also verified the file permissions, and everything appears to be correct, with the affected users having the necessary read and write permissions.This issue occurs on all of our macOS computers, including macOS Sonoma, macOS Sequoia, and macOS Tahoe.

Hi, I am running into a space issue on my laptop. It is causing PS to not run properly or even stay open, I cannot update the software on my computer, or update some of my Adobe apps. Is it possible to delete older versions without losing anything? I haven't added my own tools etc. to PS. I attached a photo of the apps that are taking up the most space on my computer but I am afraid to delete them without asking first. This isn't my area of expertise. 🙂 

Window - Adjustments panel is not opening in my custom workspace. When I switch to default Photography workspace, it does open, but there are not some option available, for example I'm not able to select default Clip to Layer option. Adobe Photoshop Version: 27.8.0 20260610.r.13 4081857  arm64 (final, Release)Operating System: Mac OS 26.5.1

I'm trying to import a .psd file into after effects and it just loads indefinitely. I've done this many times before, but suddenly it isn't working. Also, the color space is NOT the problem. My file is already in RGB. Does anyone know what the problem my be. If the file is corrupted, how can I determine this?

Hello everyone,With the latest updates, the 3D objects in some mockup files aren’t working in the current versions. I was able to resolve this issue by using version 21. However, that option has been removed from CC. Does anyone know how I can get these mockup files to work?Thank you

Is there a way to configure the radial adjustment mask in Photoshop to match the view in Lightroom CC, where two circles are visible and adjustable? In Photoshop, only the outer circle appears. It's only with this mask.

Since the latest update, each time I go to export my file, I'm told that if I export it as a jpeg, I will lose information. This happens whenever I open the export window. It started to happen after the latest update so I am now in Photoshop v 27.0 and I'm running on Windows 11.

Camera Raw no stopped launching Photoshop when I clicked the Open button. I was working a couple days ago.I have a Windows 11 PC with all the latest updates.I am using Bridge 16.0.6.9, Camera Raw 18.4.1 and Photoshop 27.8.0Any suggestions?

Hello there,I noticed that there are still serval old Photoshop folders in my hard drive. Some of the files, 2022, and 2024, are only contained small files such as plug in and filter folder. Only the version 2023 contain large files in that folder. I checked creative cloud and found only one Photoshop (2026 version) in the App. Therefore, I won’t be able to uninstall 2023 version via Creative Cloud. How can I get rid of the older version? Can I just directly drag the older version of Photoshop folders to trash can? Thank you.

I have a question about using generative fill, or any other similar tool to clean up art scans. I have a series of images, oil paintings, that I’ve scanned and need to clean up. They are to be used for posters and such for Hollywood, and there’s a lot of clean up. the paintings are full of lint, dust, hairs and other things stuck to the varnish. I’m using the healing brush tool, but it’s time consuming. I never use Generative fill or any of the AI tools because, well, they never work. So I thought I would try with these. I try and use Generative fill, and type “remove lint, hair and dust”. I’ve tried a few such prompts, but what I get is complete destruction of the image. Any ideas on making this quicker, or any prompts that might work? Remove dust, lint and hair gives me this:

So ive been having this issue for the past 3 months with the Brush Tool ( Flow ) that isnt working properly.  This is how it should work like everybody knows.. the scattering isnt there. I have a video example to show whats going on with my brush tool, instead of doing what it supposed to do, it lowers the opacity.. which is kinda weird..   here is my video of the bug

I upgraded to PS 2026, but my custom actions did not migrate from PS 2025 even though I had selected to migrate presets and actions.The Actions still work in PS 2025, but the corresponding atn files do not show up in the Actions folder in Finder, which is probably why they did not migrate.I recreated one of these Actions manually in PS 2026, saved it, used it, but it also does not show as an atn file in the Actions folder.If I try to Save Action from PS 2025 into PS 2026, the the file shows as greyed out.So it looks as though my custom atn files exist as ghosts ?Can’t see this specific issue addressed in the Help community, but please advise.

A question for the tech-smart people on the forum: I'm wondering, for the purists out there, if there's software that isn't using AI? Adobe keep promoting their generative functions but what if some of us don't want them, do we have any alternative (other than film and a darkroom again)?

This doesn’t happen every time, but has happened several times over the past few months on my laptop and desktop (both Macs). When opening PS, I get an error that says PS is damaged. I have to install PS again which erases everything I had saved in PS (workspaces, plugin credentials, tools properties, etc). Super frustrating. Has anyone else experienced this?  

I am using the touchpad on a new MacBook Pro. The paint tool and eraser tool stay engaged after I have released the tools, sometimes for several seconds. I am also beginning to have release problems with the modifier keys. How can I fix this?

Since my latest update to PS, my brush looks different. It always had a solid curculare line, now it is a jaggy cirsular edge. My settings have not changed. Anyone have this issue or an answer?
