I'm pulling my hair out with Mac Elements Organizer 2026! The Organizer window has a MAJOR difference from LR, and that is that I can't select the PARENT FOLDER, and see the contents of ALL NESTED SUBFOLDERS containted within. This makes viewing and organizing a complete PITA, as I can't just veiw my ENTIRE catalog of images, then make selections over that entire group of images. I'm also missing the file count for each Folder. Hope someone can help! In the attached photo, I've selected Food and Cooking, and the Media window is blank rather than showing me the contents of all the nested folders; ie. bbqhq, coffee, etc.

Hello,I have licenses for Photoshop Elements 2019 and Premiere Elements 2019 and want to move the programs from an old Win 10 computer to a new one with Win 11. I can download the installation files from my account, but then I can't install the programs, all I see is a blank window with the Elements logo and the title "Adobe Photoshop Elements Installer".I have installed Creative Cloud, and downloaded the installation files there. When that didn't work, I installed a trial version of Photoshop Elements 2026 and tried installing 2019 after that, as others with the similar problem solved it with this method. But that didn't help either. I have installed and uninstalled Creative Cloud several times from both Chrome and Firefox. Now I have run the Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool and removed everything and then reinstalled Creative Cloud twice, restarting the computer in between. But nothing helps. Anyone here who can help?

Glenn answered my original question, but I was not able to post my reply.  I have two other questions about using the lasso tool, then copy and paste.  (1) If I lasso part of my original photograph, and want to paste it over something I want to cover up, how do I make it work the first time I paste it? I have had to paste it 7-8 times (thereby creating layers on top of layers, I assume?) in order to completely cover up the bad spot.  (2) If I make a lasso and they copy of an area on my original photo, how many times can I paste it, say, in different places?

I want to move my catalogues and images from PSE 10 on a Windows 10 PC to PSE 2025 on a Mac Mini. I’ve succeeded in backing up a small catalogue of 650 images to a destination on the Mac over my home network, but when I try to backup a larger catalogue of 10,000 images, PSE 10 freezes when 34% of the way through estimating the size of the backup. I’ve “optimised” and “repaired” the catalogue, but it freezes at the same point every time.I’ve tried writing the tags to the image files and then breaking the catalogue into several smaller ones, but PSE 10 fails to transfer a large percentage of the tags to the new catalogue.I wondered whether I have to install the PSE 2026 free trial to upgrade the PSE 10 on my PC first. I disconnected my PC from the outside world a year ago, so I downloaded the Windows file to my Mac and then moved it to the PC. Unfortunately, the file needs access to the Internet to download the program, and I don’t remember what I did to disconnect it.How can I get PSE 1

Upgrading from PE Organizer 21.0 to 25.0 on Windows 11: Should the “My Catalog” be referencing the same “Catalog”?With my upgrade PEO 21 references “My Catalog 1 1”and PEO 25 references “My Catalog 1 1 1”.Attached are copies of both versions of “System info…”, My Catalog Properties” ,screen shots of “My Folders” file structure and Windows Version.Also, the number of “Items” (Files) “Size of disk” are different.Finally, why does the “System info…” reference Windows 10 when it is running on Windows 11Pro?Thank you as always!

I have a photo that I’m trying to edit. I lasso part that I want to copy/past over something I don’t want. When I first tried this it sorta worked, but I had to paste it over the undesired place about 7-8 times, each time.  Now I can’t do it at all. I can lasso, but it says I can’t copy it because no pixels are selected.  I don’t know how to select pixels in my lassoed section.  😗

I just want to cancel a subscription to a plugin.  Jigsaw Puzzle Creator - Pro.  The plugin is horrible but I don’t see a place to cancel the $1.99 per month I’m being charged.  Help 

I just upgraded on my MacBook from Adobe Elements 2020 to Adobe Elements 2026 (due to Tahoe incompatibility.)  When I edit a photo, I choose to save in version set with original.  However, I am not able to view the individual items in my version set.  I used to be able to do this in Organizer 2020; in fact, all my old version sets from 2020 still work in 2026 just like always.  But anything new will not display the individual or original files.   To be clear, I am choosing:  Edit > Version set > Expand Items in Version set.   This does not work on anything new.   The pictures due show the version set watermark in the top right.   I have no way to go back and see the original unless I split the version set into individual files.

I am using Photoshop Elements 2022 I've been importing my images from my Samsung S25 for a year now (since I bought it). I am using the PSE function: Import > From Camera or Card Reader. While organizing my images, I recently discovered that PSE is also importing the thumbnails. This makes it look like I have duplicates but one has a normal 5-6 Megapixel resolution the other the resolution of the thumbnail on the phone and the file name does not match.On the phone, they are located in another folder under: Internal Storage.The images: This PC > Internal Storage > DCIM > Camera The thumbnails: This PC > Internal Storage > Pictures > .thumbnails.The .thumbnails folder is marked as Hidden, but still PSE grabs the thumbnails.I guess I'll have to use the 'Files or Folder' option and navigate the the DCIM > Camera folder. Is there another way to avoid downloading the thumbnails?

photoshop elements 2022: when i try to use the editor the next error: monitor profile "............." is corrupt. start software to calibrate again. when i do so nothing change. it looks like photoshop is using the wrong .icm file (a very old one) . windows is using the new profile.

The problem continues.If using the “Face Tagging” feature. Auto Curate and Smart Tags fail continually. The Repair or Optimize of the Catalog does nothing. I have exempted all “Adobe” folders from Windows Security to now eval.If I don’t use the Face Tagging, Auto Curate and Smart Tags works fine.  If I install on a Windows 10 computer, all works fine.Ready to pull my hair out.    

Using Elements 2026.  I would like to take just the face shown in photo 1 and use it to replace the face in Photo 2.  I’m pretty good at selecting and enhancing, but I’ve never swapped things between two photos.Photo 1Photo 2  

I would like to purchase/enroll in an online course for Photoshop Elements 2026.  I’ve been fumbling my way around for the past few years and now I want to take a real class.  When I searched for classes I found: How to Gurus, Udemy, Bring your own laptop, Ed2GO, TeachUcomp, and a few others.  Do any of you have any recommendations? And do any of these courses have a feature where I can email or speak directly with a tutor when I have a question?

It looks like Adobe Photoshop Elements 2026 is available in ebook version only.  It is too small to read on the Nook device but I am able to read it on my PC.  Unfortunately, there is no printing capability, and I am not able to read it and perform exercises in PSE at the same time on the same screen on the same computer.  This would be like reading a recipe in a cookbook on the screen and then having to close it while making the cookies.  Isn’t there a manual that can be purchased as paperback?  I have searched and it seems there is no paperback available.  Would I be able to print parts of the tutorials available in the software? 

This affects EVERY dialog I opened in this version, after a forced upgrade.

The data missing from this histogram is gone forever.  We all know that, but I wonder if anyone is aware of a tweak or trick that might possibly improve the quality of this image despite it’s missing data.  It isn’t a total loss but you can tell it isn’t right.  I’ve seen this condition with other images over the years and just moved on.  Does this thing have any hope?    

Unable to print from the editor.  Click print and it goes back to the opening window/screen.Changed printers but can’t remember if I printed with the old one or not

“New” files, from 2024 and later, although not all, do not autocurate. I made a test catalog and imported 10 “new” photos, and it would not autocurate. Checking task manager when attempting to autocurate 50 or so photos, autocreations.exe would run for about 10 seconds and then exit and no autocuration would be performed. JPEG files would autocurate, but not raw files, even for an older Nikon Z6 and 24-200mm lense.

I have Elements 2023 for PC.  I can get “Text on shape” to work fine on a new blank file.  I’ve even tried on a file with a color fill and saved as a jpeg, then re-opened, and it was fine.  When I try on a file with a photo as the background layer, I get to where you add text and don’t get a cursor, just a blinking dot.  If I try and type nothing shows.  I have made sure everything is in contrasting colors so nothing would seem hidden.  What could I be missing?

I have PSE 2026.  Could anyone tell me the simplest, quickest method of converting my RAW files into jpegs, either through Organizer, or after editing.  I wish to be done in batches, not one by one.  Thank you.

Good morning. I recently had to purchase a new Windows 11 OS laptop as my old laptop died. On the old laptop, also running Windows 11, I had PSE 2021. When I bought the new laptop, I purchased PSE 2026. I did have an external drive backup of my catalog, as well as all photos backed up on Microsoft OneDrive. When I downloaded PSE 2026 and first opened it, I was prompted to get my photos which had been restored to my laptop via OneDrive. All of my photos are now in PSE 2026. However, it did not access the files that contain the information for tags and folders, so I now have some 20K photos with no organization. I am trying to figure out the best fix for this. Is there some way to access the file(s) that contain the folder and tags data that is likely somewhere on my hard drive? If not, would it make more sense to uninstall PSE 2026, reinstall it, and then restore my catalogue from the external drive backup? I appreciate any guidance here! Thanks,Craig

I have version 7, which does not accept non-Roman text in text boxes (Yiddish characters in particular show up as blank).Is there a later version that does support this?Thanks.

I’m running PSE Organizer v26.0 on a 2025 iMac with OS 26.3.1. I had to upgrade to PSE 2026 because 2022 no longer worked. The catalog is displaying all the thumbnails fine, but whenever I double click on ANY of them (JPEGs, TIFFs and RAW) I just get a grey box with question mark.If I SLOWLY move the Zoom slider, I can get it to show a full size image, but if I slide too far, it once again gives me a grey box. So I have to move the slider gingerly. Of course, I would prefer to just double click on the thumbnail, which always worked before.I have deleted the cache. I’ve reset Preferences. The Manage Catalogs function does NOT give me a REPAIR option. Only Optimize, which made no difference. Any ideas? Thanks. Duncan
