I have lately updated Premiere to verison 25 and encountered an issue, that majority - including me - has been facing a lot before. When I first saw the shamleslly washed out color export (like, WHY AT ALL) a long time ago, I found a solution, people were talking about on the Internet - Gamma compensation lut. And it worked fine all along. Now when updated, Premiere doesnt seem to carry out much of it... As I know version 25 is still beta in many ways - I cant just stop production because of this. Need help!

Hi all, This has been a pain in my butt for as long as I can remember.  So I'd be color grading on premiere and be like: "Yeah that's looking good." Head onto render the video to then discover that colors look nothing the same on Quicktime player as on program monitor. Now I know that Quicktime uses diffrent gamma 1.96 wheres premiere shows in 2.2 or 2.4. And also did color grading on After Effects, then I used the dynamic link to go ahead and do sound design on PP. And even then the colors in PP look diffrent to AE program monitor colors.  So my question is, how can I do my color grading in PP that guarantees me that the final consumer, which would be instagram and tiktok, they see almost the same colors as I'd on my PP program monitor. All the best!

I don't know if i am editing videos wrong but this is how i do it. I make woodworking videos and I have hundreds of videos in the media bin and I drag each one to the time line one at a time. I sometimes edit it in the source panel or I edit it in the timeline depending on what i am doing.  Whenever i do a voiceover premier creates a new audio file in my media bin and it causes the media bin to jump all the way to the bottom of the list. then i have to scroll all the way back to the clip i am working on. it is really aggravating and time consuming and i can't find a setting to turn it off.

I was thinking that limter is made to cut sounds above the treshold then in multiband compressor when I lower a "thresh" it raises volume up. It is quiter when It is at 0 than at -10. I don't udnerstand why. Pleae, can someone explain it? 

I know this has been addressed before - the bug listed here does not  seem to fit my situation. I can't drag anything at all - nothing works at all from adding media to the project, adding it to the timeline, dragging sections around, nothing.  I only have one monitor, so it's not the scaling issueI'm on a more recent Win11 Build (KB5060842)I'm on Premiere 25.3 (build 84)The PC is brand new, built by me so it's not like I'm dealing with legacy issues. I literally can't do anything. I used keyboard shortcuts to at least drag my trimmed items around a little but it's essentially a brick at this point. I've restarted Premiere, closed and reopened the sequences, the project, tried multiple other projects, and not a damn thing is working. I'm at what passes for my wit's end and I'm one step from reverting back to Pr 2023 if this continues. Is there some moron setting I can adjust somewhere?

Hey, I've recently came across an issue trying to open a project that I've been working on for weeks now.When I try to open the project, the progress bar makes it approximately 3/4 of the way across, and then a message comes up saying "Your system has run out of application memory. I can't get past this stage.Wondering if anyone here has some ideas that could help with this... Hello,I have looked around the forum for info about this, but I don't seem to be finding any answer.I am trying to use the voiceover tool on a timeline to record audio coming from a Blackmagic Decklink Studio 4K.I select the blackmagic audio as Audio input, but the voiceover option is greyed out.The card is connected via SDI and also the AES/EBU input are connected. Hi allI have a problem after the update to Premiere Pro CC 2019. My video rendering and playback option is all grayed out when starting a new project. In Premiere Pro CC 2018 i could choose between: "Mercury Playback Engine GPU Acceleration (CUDA)"(the one i always choose) and "Mercury Playback Engine Software Only". But in CC 2019 version the option is grayed out on the "software only" option.This is resulting(i assume is the reason) that when i open all my old projects all my rendering is on done(shows red) and most of my LUTS have gone all arse ways. When i start new project every clip i import shows red in the sequence panel(not yellow like in CC 2018). This is slowing down my workflow by about 40% due to rendering and extensive exporting times.Any suggestions what could be the issue?Best regards James

Hi, so I'm opening a few old projects from months to a year back, and these folders have jumped from a few drives here and there, but I haven't encountered any relinking issues.  So in opening the project, it works perfectly fine/normally. sometimes I'd have to relink a clip, but since I put them all in the project's folder, it USUALLY doesn't have an issue. When I click the 'Export' tab I usually export drafts in 720p or 1080p, so I use that default preset. But after pressing the export button, it'll initiate the process but stay on the "Encoding [sequence name]" at 0%. I can wait an hour and it'll stay on 0%. stuff I tried:- I've tried sending it to media encoder, same issue.- Tried rendering it beforehand but it'd either go ridiculously slow (hrs) or similarly to the export, stay at 0%.- I checked to see if it was my adjustment layer, original clips, and audio clips by exporting small parts of them individually, but the issue only happens when I export the sequen

I'm running into an odd, intermittent, serious problem. I sometimes can't add more than one marker. I can always create one marker just fine, regardless of whether there are already markers, but after that, nothing happens when I do the usual methods: pressing M, clicking the menu Markers > Add Marker, or right-clicking the timeline and clicking Add Marker. Those menu commands are not grayed out. No additional markers appear anywhere: the timeline of the Program Monitor or the Sequence panel (perhaps not the right name), nor the Markers panel. Nothing is added to the History panel either.  My focus is on adding sequence markers while the Program Monitor is active, but this problem also applies to clip markers. After I spent my one sequence marker and could add no more, I was able to create one marker on a clip, but only one. Once it happens, this problem is persistent, at least for a given sequence or clip, during a Premiere session. Now I can change only 5 seconds forward or back using the mouse.There were no restrictions before. Why did you create them? It's stupid. 

I have a 3 camera, 5 mic, round table discussion that is an absolute mess. On top of the 5 lavs, I have 1 boom recoding, and 3 camera's nat sound recording. I'm dealing with a 30+ audio channel Multicam mess on my hands.   Does anyone have any suggestions on how to bring this all in and make sense of it all? Get the cleanest sound with way less audio channels? Please help! 

Hi,Question to experts. I'm getting clips to be played out of the UHD HDR OB van. It works in HDR. The clips are converted form SDR versions. On the editing suite they look ok, but in the OB they are dimmed. Please have a look at three screen shots. Lumetri Scopes for Rec709 (of course SDR clip on the timeline), Rec 2020 and Rec2100. Rec2100 simply shows lack of full dynamic range. Now - if you look at the fourth screen shot - showing test bars from the OB you can see full dynamic range in Lumetri Scopes in Rec 2100.BUT - this dynamic looks overexposed on my Canon DP3120. See picture. Lowering the exposure -1,2 makes the histogram correct on the monitor (picutre) BUT it is too low on the Lumetri Scopes in Premiere (getting to the range of Rec.2020) So bit confused here..How to up-mapp SDR footage to achive full scale in Rec.2100?Rasing Exposure, Whites, Highlights of course makes the whites goes up but the whole picutre is getting too bright.. I'm experiencing terrible input lag when I do multicam editing, I have 2 cameras, using medium-quality proxies, and the footage is in an SSD, it actually plays fine, but I'm editing a concert, and when I hit the key to change camera there's a random delay before premiere executing the cut. (Shown in the video) It actually takes away the benefit of using multicam because I have to adjust almost every cut because it didn't land where I wanted, and it's driving me crazy and taking a lot more than it should because of this.  Also when I want to stop playing (to adjust the cuts) it keeps playing for several seconds, it has reached around 30 seconds after hitting space. (Not shown in the video) It usually starts with no problem, but the lag begins when I make an adjustment to a cut I didn't like. How can I now edit subtitles in the Captions window?I love working in this window.  

Ive been trying to fix this for hours, and unaware how. Basically, any clip with text or overlays become highly tinted purple and extremely vibrant. Ive change my colors in project settings, my render settings in media encoder, yet it only worked on 2 text pieces. Ive also been rendering them in to out. What am i doing wrong?

 I check the video through Quicktime player. It has a normal sound.But when imported to Premier pro, the sound disappears as shown in the picture.I want to know how to solve this problem. Note: This file is obtained from data recovery. I don't know if it affects the use or not. 

Title basically says it. I'm having constant crashes with perfectly stable blackmagic cinema AND Prores footage not only while encoding but often times scrubbing it as well. This is my basic setup Windows 11Intel Core i9-14900KFMSI PRO Z790-P WIFI (MS-7E06) (U3E1)NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Ti SUPERMy home computer doesn't crash at all doing this stuff. I do have a 5080 gpu but even back when I was on my 3090, it just never happened. I've done Hirems Boot USB apps, hardware memory tests, the whole smash far as I know and no hardware errors are ever detected. I wondered if the GPU itself could have a physical issue the system just isn't reporting. Any ideas would be appreciated. This is my work computer and I do video production full time. I COULD swap the GPU with the one in this little side office we use for podcasting if that might help but I just don't know what to do at this point.

Hey,I want to know if there's a way to make both program and source monitor at the same place (window). So I can toggle between them in the same panel/window. Since both are seperated (right and left). Is there a way to make it on the same window or by using a shortkey to display one instead of another but in the same window ?

Le programme premiere pro se bloque à chaque importation d'éléments sur la timeline. En effet, à chaque element glissé le logiciel ne répond pas pendant 30s en moyenne que ce soit wav, mp4 ect....  lorsque j'appuie sur play pour jouer le moment sur la timeline. Cela rend donc le processus de montage très contraignant. J'ai vidé le cache media et activé le gpu acceleration. Cela n'a pas aidé. Auriez vous des pistes de solutions ?  Merci d'avance

Generative Extend causes a subtle but noticeable color shift, making it useless untill fixed. I'm working with ProRes 422 HD Vlog footage with Panasonic's 709 convert LUT and everytime I try ot use Genereative Extend there is a slight shift in exposure and contrast. Is there a setting in the timeline that I am not aware of that can fix this problem ? Herb Sevush
