I've been using Premiere Pro to create 4K 60fps videos for a few years now.  So far I've uploaded more than a hundred of them to YouTube (most unlisted, but several published).  And I've never had a problem viewing these videos in 4K on my TVs... until now. Within the past few days, I've noticed that when I upload a 4k 60fps video to my YouTube channel (and then wait for 4K processing to complete), I can watch that video in 4K on my PC and phone, but on my TV the resolution is limited to 1080p.  Chromecast , Google TV Streamer, and my TV's native YouTube app all limit the video to 1080p, but all my non-TV related devices can show it in 4K. For example, a couple days ago I uploaded a 2 hour long 4K 60fps video.  I waited several hours for 4K processing to complete, and then tried viewing the (unlisted) video on various devices: Computer:  I tested multiple browsers (Chrome and Firefox) on multiple computers and they all let me view the video in 4K

Hi everyone, I've been working on a Productions project for a while now. It consists of several projects files. It's a documentary with over 100 multicam interviews. I noticed the generated .cfa files are massive. In one single day, it created some 40 files ranging from 9GBs to 77Gbs. Is that normal? Just the .prv folder where those files are stored "weights" 1.1TB and it took up 1/3 of my server. I'm not 100% sure but I believe those files were generated the day after I updated to Premiere 25.5. Thanks. Marcos H.

Hi everyone,I'm looking for a way to download Adobe Premiere Pro 2023 (specifically version 23.6.8) for Windows. The Creative Cloud app only offers the latest and previous versions, and the support chatbot keeps redirecting me to those.I really need version 23.6.8 for compatibility reasons with ongoing projects. I've looked all over and can't find a solution, I'm hoping that someone here might have a solution. This consistenly happens across different projects I'm working on, the audio or dialogue track fades in when the sound starts in the clip.  The length of silence at the beginning of the clip/segment/track doesn't change anything.  I'm am using .WAV files.  The result is that if the text/words start with "As", the entire word is dropped from the .mp4 export.  Or the word "Therefore" sounds like "erefore". There isn't a transition or fade in that I can see, DeNoise isn't being used, in the Sound Elements tab nothing is selected (meaning it isn't trying to clean up dialogue).  I'm not using noise cancelling headphones, but am wired directly to external speakers. If I replay the clip several times in a row, or rather only let the first few seconds play, and then replay that segment again and again, by the 4th time Premiere Pro will stop fading in the t

I'm trying the following.   a) define custom Premiere Pro shortcuts,  one per label color. b) Write an AutoHotkey executable, that presses the proper buttons when launched, activating the shortcuts defined in (a) c) Use the node.js library called Child process [1], implemented in my own extension, in order to launch the previous executable automatically, according with some triggering condition implemented inside my script.   Now, I'm not a professional programmer, and stuff like node.js and Autohotkey are totally new for me.  So, just before  starting a useless work, I ask you: do you think that such scheme could be doable?    My biggest concern is about the implementation of the node.js library and commands inside my extension.  Reading the article [1], it seems that the node.js c

I’ve searched this forum but couldn’t find anything that was recent (over 2 years ago) or actually had a solve in the comments.For the past week, I’ve been trying to edit some videos where the main file lives in my OneDrive. (I have no idea else where to store GBs worth of video on my work computer, and we use Microsoft apps at work so I have to use that storage system. I am on a Macbook though.) Every time I open up the file, it has to “Relink Media” and is always stuck at 21%, and even if I let it run for HOURS in the background, it never budges. I am able to play around in the timeline, and press play, just the footage never loads.I thought I found an answer in unchecking “Use Media Browser to locate files” in the Link Media box, but that did absolutely nothing. I’m currently looking at my Premiere screen where it’s trying to relink media at 21%.Is this a Premiere issue or OneDrive issue? I can clearly see the video files in my OneDrive, it’s just like it’s not connecting to Premier

In premiere, the audio file that I have is only playing from the left side. I have followed all of the YouTube videos on how to fix this, from modifying the audio channel to adding the "fill right audio with left" effect. After adding the effect, the audio file in the timeline still only plays from the left, but in the source it shows that both the left and right audio channels are filled. And when I play the audio file in the source window, it is playing from both the left and the right. So basically, in the timeline, I only get left audio, but the source shows both left and right. Any ideas on how to fix this or what I need to do to make both sides play in the timeline? Thanks!!

I have 6 hours of raw footage from interviews for 2 documentaries films.I want to edit the footage through the transcription window, an option that is supported by automatic transcription in English- it's much faster in this way. Since Adobe didn't bother * to support Hebrew auto transcript, I had to buy a third-party plugin that makes subtitles. I exported the subtitle file in SRT format but to my suprise the Primiere transcript can't imported it (even though it has a time code).There's also no option to create the transcript manually. In addition, Adobe only supports importing .prtranscript formt files - a format it invented but didn't share with public, thus preventing the possibility of converting subtitles into transcription. Does anyone have an idea how to overcome this issue?-and as a side note:* Why there is no ability to transcribe in Hebrew?We are 10 million people, biased towards high-tech, art  and creativity. Hi everyone,I'm having a strange issue in Premiere Pro that I didn't have before, and I'm hoping someone can explain what's happening.I'm editing an interview that was originally shot in 4K. I have a 4K sequence containing the entire interview, and I've already cut out the questions etc.I then duplicated that sequence and renamed the duplicate. In this new sequence, I want to create the final version and export it in HD, so I changed the sequence frame size from 4K to HD.The problem is that when I select one of the 4K clips and go to Effect Controls > Motion, the blue bounding box that appears around the clip doesn't match the actual visible image in the Program Monitor anymore.For example, when I set the 4K footage to 50% Scale, I would expect the 4K image to exactly fit the 1920×1080 sequence. Instead, the blue Motion bounding box seems to be offset so different in size from the actual image, which makes adjusting the footage very confusing.My current workaround is to press F to o

Hello, I need some help finding a version of Premiere Pro and After Effects that is compatible with a MacBook Pro Mid 2012.My Mac specs are:MacBook Pro 13-inch, Mid 2012 Intel Core i5 2.5 GHz, dual-core 16 GB DDR3 RAM Intel HD Graphics 4000, 1536 MB SSD macOS Ventura 13.7.8Based on the hardware, I understand that older versions such as Premiere Pro 2020/2021 and After Effects 2020/2021 would probably be more suitable for this machine.I contacted Adobe Support, but they told me that the oldest versions currently available to them are After Effects 23.0 and Premiere Pro 24.0.2. I am concerned that these versions may be too demanding or incompatible with my processor/GPU.Is there any official way to download older versions of Premiere Pro and After Effects with an active Creative Cloud subscription?If not, which versions would you recommend specifically for this MacBook Pro running macOS Ventura?I mainly want to use it for basic 1080p video editing and relatively simple After Effects comp

I can no longer use the stock audio in Premiere Pro. I get a pop up saying that the CC element cannot be added because CC Library cannot be found. Where should my CC Library be and how can I get it back or recreate it?

Hi,My project has all of a suddent begun to encounter the issue with 'the importer reported a generic error' after I did the autoupdate to Premiere Pro 2024. This project had been faultless up to now. I tried an in-app media cache delete and then an in-system media cache delete via explorer (windows). After the in-app delete nothing changed. After the in-system a different set of assets emerged with the same generic error issue to before i deleted the cache. Am i going to need to re-render these files? They're not specific to one format type. They're all MP4 H264 from different sources. I've not moved the assets across drives. It worked last week and now it doesnt work. Any thoughts or anyone else experiencing this issue after the 2024 update?

In Premiere Pro 24.3.0 (Build 59) on a MacBook Pro 2023 M2 Max (macOS 14.5), I have a Production with two projects, "Cuts" and "Footage". In one of the sequences in my "Cuts" project, there are clips from a video file that play back, but when I try to "Reveal in Project", it says:When I click OK, it says:Again, the clip plays back in the timeline, but it has somehow lost its clip project association. I know where the file is on my external hard drive, but I can't relink it because the clip has lost its clip project association. Here's a similar discussion. I'd like to be able to hear the preview in my left earbud, too. That would be convenient and less stressful. Working with two audio channels is much more convenient—where is this hidden option? Why hasn't this been made publicly available yet? P.S. Please don't tell me about headphones, cache, or updates.            

Hello,I've recently come across a bug in Premiere Pro.  At least, I think it's a bug. I have multiple sequences going in a project for various things.  One's for broll, one's for the rough cut, etc.Whenever i move from sequence to sequence, my playhead automatically jumps to the beginning of the sequence.  This is has only started happening recently, probably within the last update or so. It is slowing down my process dramatically, as I need to keep the play head where I last had it, as I'm working through my rough cut sequence adding various things to it, music, broll, etc. Has anyone else seen this issue arise?

I understand it's in beta but hope I get some light on my issue. I can't get my panel icons to display. The panel shows a default/blank icon instead of my custom icons. What I've tried:1. Following Adobe's icon documentation with proper naming convention (icons/plugin-icon.png in manifest,icons/plugin-icon@1x.png and icons/plugin-icon@2x.png as files)2. Using both 23x23 (panel icons) and 48x48 (plugin icons) sizes3. Testing with different paths and filenames4. My audio is consistently exporting quieter than my timelines. To test this I imported a wav file,created sequence from the file so all settings match, made sure audio clip mixer is 0, made sure audio track mixer is 0, matched sequence settings to export settings, (mono staying mono, matching hz, matching bit rate, etc) ensured effects were off (like loudness normalization being off) exported wav to same settings as original file. I then re-import the newly exported file into Premiere and it is 2-3db quieter than the original.Please help. Thanks!
