A static shot taken with a tripod. An object is lying on the table in the frame. I need to remove the slight, barely noticeable shake from the tripod so that the shot is perfectly steady. For some reason, Premiere adds zoom and camera shake. I don’t need that. What do zoom and shake have to do with it? I need to remove the slight shake, not add it. The whole point of stabilization is to make the image smooth, not to add zoom and shake. NewBlue Stabilizer handled this task perfectly, while Premier did a worse job.     

I am trying to footage taken at a recent event that I shot with one camera, I imported it into premiere pro cc 2019 and then exported it only to get this error message every few seconds.   "Error retrieving frame **** at time **:**:**:** from the file"     The footage was shot on a C300 at 24 fps, in full HD, the sequence is 24 fps 1920x1080 which is a match./ it's only when I try to export it out that I start getting the error.   Please help.     Thanks   H&M     included is a screen capture (hope it helps)              

I am a very, very long-time user of Adobe, and I use speech-to-text almost every week. But that feature sucks.Adobe has improved on many areas, but speech-to-text is awful. I will give an example that might sound interesting: Adobe is very bad at transcribing English when it is not perfectly clear. I have a client who has a black-dude accent. Cool dude. Yet Adobe cannot understand what he is saying. But Google Gemini does. So if Gemini is able to transcribe English with an accent, but Adobe can’t, this must be improved, right?It sometimes even struggles with very simple English. One of my clients clearly says "Jonah," but Adobe always transcribes it as "John." I have to spend a lot of my time fixing everything manually. That’s too much time. I think Adobe needs to take this as an inquiry and fix it in the next patch. Work with an AI tool -I don’t know- but please fix this.

When I nest sequences in Premiere Pro, the video nests correctly, but the audio remains as individual clips. How can I ensure that both audio and video are fully nested as a single clip?   This has worked before on the project. I go and nest a new section of the chapters I make and it doesn't follow like the correct nests I have previously done, so it works but then doesn't?   Also, when I try and drag nested sequences onto the timeline, it doesn't copy the project over and only one cut had been copied despite creating in and out markers.

If I want to remove all the audio pauses in an audio clip, no matter what I select, it removes pauses from other clips on the track and other clips on other tracks.I have not been able to figure out how to remove audio pauses from only one clip without affecting the other clips.*(locking all the other tracks, prevents the other tracks from being affected, but it doesn't prevent the other clips on the same track from being affected).**I did notice that if I double click an audio clip, the transcription feature identifies pauses for just that clip, but if I try to remove the pauses, the delete button is not available.

I tried to install older version that running smooth before in my laptop, but it didn’t show 2024 version on my creative cloud.May i know the solution for this one?

Every time I switch workspaces in Premiere (version 26.2.2 Build 3), my Mac pinwheels. I don’t understand what it could be since the only change is that I am using a better computer. I’m on an M5 Max with 128GB of RAM and I only have a handful of safari tabs open. What am I missing here?

After placing my video and audio files in the sequence, the software fails to sync audio as expected. When I press “synchronize,” the dialog box goes away and it’s as if I didn’t press it at all. There is no error message or even an attempt to sync. It just doesn’t. I am going to install an older version of premiere to see if that fixes it.  

The cursor has stopped, but the current clip has not automatically been selected. Previously in my work session it would have been automatically selected. 

I‘m not sure how to address this error.For starters, I am editing a vlog and the footage was shot on my iPhone 16 Pro Max, in 4K 30. Typically I keep my transitions simple with dissolves and fades. However, this keep popping up: I understand that I could change the sequence settings to match 1080p, but, I have two concerns:I recently updated to the new version of Premiere. But, I never encountered this error before with the previous versions of Adobe Premiere. If I change my sequence settings to 1080 (though it was shot in 4K), wouldn’t this reduce my quality in some way?If anyone has any suggestions or solutions for me please let me know. Thank you! Note: OS - Mac

I am trying to use the typewriter effect in Film Impact. It has all of a sudden stopped allowing me to apply it to the beginning of a clip. It will only appear at the end of the text, and the setting to adjust the alignment is greyed out. I’m using Premiere 26.3 on a Mac running Tahoe 26.5.2.

My Space Bar does not play/stop in Primere 2026.

Hey Guys!      I am trying to figure out how to turn generated captions into "one word at a time" segments. I already know how to make the captions, I am just stuck in how to automate them to just come out one word at a time. Thanks for the help! 

Is there a way to make the “Expand all tracks” feature work right away? When I click “Expand all tracks,” nothing happens. I have to click “Minimize all tracks” first, and only then “Expand all tracks.” Who came up with such a silly and inconvenient feature? Is your logic working?  Make this feature working with just one click!  I have noticed this problem in more than one version of the Premiere and no one wants to solve it. I don't need AI, I need normal functionality    

Hi there,I like using Adobe Fonts (in theory). There are quality fonts there and I use several of them in my graphic templates.However, nearly everytime I start Premiere and return to a project with an Adobe Font, the font does not display. The title displays but uses another local font, usually the one that it as the top of my local fonts list. The way that I fix this is to go to the font drop down in Essential Graphics and click on the small Add Adobe Fonts button.That launches the Adobe Fonts website where I sign in to my Adobe Account. Then I close and reopen Premiere and the proper font displays as it should.Most of the time when it is not working the name of the Adobe font that is being used is displayed in brackets. Like Premiere is saying, this is what font we're supposed to use but we can't and instead it displays a local font.But sometimes, more rarely, all of my Adobe Fonts are simply gone. Searching them in the font dropdown list returns nothing like they have never be

Is there an easier way to keyframe in Premiere Pro when you're messing with the velocity of 2 different properties? Scale and Position for example as shown in the screenshot below.I'm trying to time the velocity between scale and position around the same time when zooming into a chart I've made. It's a bit time-consuming to continue trying to pull both handles to the same place and time.Is there any easier method behind this?

Hi, I’m unable to export my video, it gives me this error:“Unable to install: "C:\Users\Public\Documents\AdobeInstalledCodecsTier2\4.3\mc_enc_hevc.dll" Please close other applications and make sure you have write access to this location and sufficient hard drive space. Or try deleting the folder: "C:\Users\Public\Documents\AdobeInstalledCodecsTier2" and re-launching the application.”I’m using Adobe Premiere Pro 2025. And I’ve already tried to delete the folder AdobeInstalledCodecsTier2 and it still gives me the same error message. Please help!

I can't work in the Effects Control panel. As soon as I try to change something, it disappears.) Another joke from the developers? It's not funny, but I appreciated it.

In PP 2025 and 2026 on my MacBook Pro, when I set an in and out point in a sequence and look at the bottom right in the Program Monitor, it only tells me the duration of the entire sequence, it doesn’t tell me the duration between the In and Out points. How do I get Premiere to tell me the duration between in and out point in program monitor? I feel like this should be the default behavior, I don’t know if I changed it inadvertently at some point or not.

Hello!I recently started working on a project where the team is working in a Premiere Production, and at one point they started using LucidLink to store media instead of leaving it on a drive. There were also some file names that were changed. They relinked everything after moving the files to Lucid, and the media is online when I’m working inside the projects, but every time I open the projects I’m prompted with the Link Media dialog box saying the media is still on the old drive. I’m trying to fix this issue so the team can work in the projects throughout the Production without being prompted to link the media every time they open them. I tried deleting the media cache before relinking, pinning all of the files and projects on Lucid, relinking everything when the Link Media dialog box pops up, then immediately saving and waiting overnight before closing the projects, but the box still pops up the next time I open the project. I also noticed that if I relink certain clips in the Media

I experienced a strange error today in Adobe Premiere Pro 2018 (version 12.1.1) in which I duplicated a sequence, made some edits, and then in one of my clips, there was consistently a random frame popping up from another, earlier clip in the sequence. When I toggled frame by frame, I could still see this same random frame pop up (even though I was looking at a clip that definitely doesn't include that frame). After a few seconds, though, Premiere would suddenly change the frame to the correct one. But it would never go away when playing the sequence.I tried restarting Premiere (and my entire computer), and I tried changing the Playback resolution to 1/4. Nothing worked. I decided to delete the sequence and make another copy. This time, everything was fine. Does anyone know what caused this weird bug? Does this mean that my project is somehow corrupt? I can only add 1 clip to premier then i get red circle with a line through it. I have to close premier then reopen then i can add 1 clip then repeat. Ive tried the basic stuff, new project, clear media cache, nothing changes. The guide says to clear all user settings, plugins but that seems stupid since you would have to put them all back and the problem would return achieving nothing except wasting time.  RTX 5090 Studio driver 6.10.62Intel i9-13900k 128GB DDR5 RAM 4 RAID 2TB Samsung 980 Pro      

How do I delete unnecessary styles? It's kind of a tricky puzzle. Could you add a “Delete” button?
