  Fixed issues in 25.0 Audio: Audio waveforms for a nested sequence could be incorrect depending on the zoom level.     Ok... So what was fixed here?  

For a project that I am working on, I downloaded Divinci Resolve. After downloading it, Premier Pro started to crash out, running extremely slow and lagging during editing videos. When attempting to transcribe the audio to add captions, the estimated generation time became 6 hours! This was not happening before I got Divinci.Do the two softwares conflict? Or is there something else I can do to resolve this issue?

I recently bought a newer MacBook Air (an M1) and it is running macOS Tahoe 26.3.1. I migrated all of the applications and data from my previous MacBook Air (an Intel one). That MacBook Air had Creative Cloud installed on it at one point, but I had uninstalled all of the Creative Cloud apps from it at one point because they were no longer running properly.Now that my M1 MacBook Air should be able to run all of the apps again, I have re-installed several CC apps onto it, including Premiere 2026 (please don’t judge). Every time I launch Premiere, it crashes unless I disable third-party plugins. So it would seem that I have a plugin lingering somewhere on my system that needs to be uninstalled.Problem is, the plugin is not showing up as installed on the Creative Cloud app, and I can’t find a way to see which plugins Premiere thinks is installed. How do I remove a plugin that does not appear in any list so that I don’t have to keep remembering to launch Premiere holding the Command key dow

I can't seem to be able to adjust the vertical offset of a single keyframe after using auto frame. I can adjust the horizontal offset and the speed of each transition though.Using the image as a guidance, when I click on the 460.2 for example it moves a single keyframe left/right(horizontally). If I move the 1058.0 it speeds up or slows down the transition. But when I go to the Reframe Offset, it changes the vertical offset for the entire frame. How can I do that for a single keyframe? Thanks! 

hi, ive been using the auto detect log footage feature with footage shot in sony slog3 sgamut3.cine and it looks really off when converted to rec709. there is a clear magenta and contrast shift in the colour instantly messing with skintones… when i import the footage into sony catalyst browse and convert it, it looks how it looked while shooting. will attach screenshots of the example… this must be due too the mathematical conversion that premiere does being wrong… but how could i fix this…  

Wondering if anyone can provide some insight into what this reset options window is, and why it suddenly appeared when launching Adobe Premiere Pro. I opened Premiere the way I normally do, but instead of going straight into the app, I got this popup asking about resetting preferences, media cache, plugin cache, etc. I canceled out of it, opened my project normally, and everything seems completely fine. The only thing that was different during this launch was that I had just connected a few external monitors through a new Anker dock before opening Premiere. Has anyone seen this appear randomly? Is this usually triggered by a crash, a startup key combo, hardware/display changes, or something else? Screenshot attached.

However, when modifying the PiPL file to define the Name and Category fields, we have encountered issues with using Chinese characters:If we set the Category to Chinese, the plugin can be built, but the displayed text in Premiere Pro becomes garbled.If we set the Name to Chinese, the project fails to build entirely.Could you please let us know if there is an official way to support Chinese characters in the PiPL file, or if there are recommended best practices to handle plugin names and categories in non-ASCII languages?Thank you very much for your assistance.Best regards,

How do I remove and and all searches in a Premiere project all at once?

While Premiere isn’t a forensic tool, it is widely used by multimedia forensic oracticioners. It is important to understand how Adobe treats scaling or rotating images under the hood. The lack of nearest neighbor option under the Transform effect limits the use of the tool and often the resizing or scale is done using another tool with better controls. If Adobe would disclese what interpolation method is used, it would make oracticioners more secure and help to consolidate Adobe in the field of Multimedia Forensics.

What are the features missing or less good in DaVinci Resolve?

Hi there! Any image I put on the timeline, be it jpg or png, makes the premiere incredibly difficult to use. If there is an image present on the timeline, the playhead lags for a second before playing after pressing spacebar. Then when the playhead passes the image, the program monitor freezes and if I stop playback, audio continues to play for a few seconds. Every once in a while it's crashed the program. The only way I've been able to work is to render preview over the images via in-to-out. I have tried uninstalling premiere, cleareing my caches, etc.  Any ideas?Thanks!Windows 10Latest version of premiere 22

This is an “out there” idea, but I recently viewed equirectangular video in VLC and liked the ability to pan and zoom with the mouse during playback.  I have equirectangular images from my drone, but people don’t readily have 360 image viewers.  I thought if I put an ER image on a 2:1 sequence, the make a one minute video from that, it would play in VLC the same way.  It does not.  I would have been pleasantly surprised if it had.  I figure there is a codec, or metadata markers that identify itself to the player as a 360 video.Anyway, if anyone has knowledge on the subject, I’d love to know how to make it happen.Thx

I’ve been getting a smooth workflow for a year now. I’m on Win 11. I have a high-end gaming laptop.I have updated my NVIDIA driver.  

I need to export a timeline in xml format to be used on Davinci Resolve, but it doesn’t come up in the export > format drop down menu.I haven’t applied any effects. I only changed the sequence settings, adjusted the motion settings (clip size and orientation), made cuts, and color labeled some clips.As far as I am aware, the availability of xml is context dependant.Can someone give some troubleshooting tips?

Yesterday I was working on a project that I use to edit monthly videos for a Doctor. I did yesterday’s video and close de project as usual. Today I tried to open the same project and I’m facing this following error “an unknown error occurred while opening the project premiere pro”I tried creating a new project and importing the old one but it didn’t work, this time i recieved this messege. Can anyone help me? Inside this project I have several assets that i can’t lose.

I’m trying to adjust the duration of markers directly in the timeline, specifically markers that already have a duration set (the long rectangular “flag” style markers).My workflow is very timeline-based. I’m editing interviews and documentary material and dropping a lot of duration markers as I go. I’d love to be able to quickly trim the start/end of a marker right there in the sequence, without having to open the clip in source monitor to adjust.  The issue:When, in the timeline, I carefully move my mouse over the little end handles of the marker and try to drag them, Premiere grabs and moves the clip itself instead of adjusting the marker duration. Because of this, I’ve been forced to:* Match Frame* Open the clip in Source Monitor* Find the marker there* Click/drag to adjust the duration from there (or double click to open the marker dialog window to adjust from there)  It works, but it feels really cumbersome at scale, especially considering I’m currently exclusively creating clip

Issue: During playback of projects, Adobe Premiere frequently stops updating the playhead (line that follows playback) in the Timeline Panel until the user stops playback. Once the playback is stopped, the playhead will jump to the correct location.   Verions Affected: Multiple versions of Adobe Premiere   I've seen a bunch of other forum posts about this and some mention "fixes" that include doing things like resetting your Workspace Layout, Resetting view settings, and even completely resetting your configurations - DON'T DO ANY OF THESE, SOME ARE DESTRUCTIVE TO YOUR LAYOUTS! AT LEAST GIVE MY FIX A TRY FIRST, AS IT'S ONE CHECKBOX!   Work-Around Fix: Go to EDIT > PREFERENCE > GENERAL and uncheck the bottom box that says "GPU accelerated UI rendering (restart required)" and then restart Adobe Premiere:   Re-open the project you were working on and you will notice immediately that the project will play with any Workspace Window setup selected, and any settings

Until yesterday I used frame.io V4 in Premiere 26.2.0 with no problem. Today opening the window frame.io in premiere there is a message “something went wrong”.Even if I reload the window this message appears.The Login in my frame.io V4 account via the Browser  https://accounts.frame.io/welcome?legacy_auth=false&auth_callback=adobe%2Bppro://frameio works well: “Authentication complete. Please return to Premiere Pro.” But in premiere it doesn’t work (“something went wrong”).Opening frame.io via the application-page in creative cloud let me work with my frame.io-account within the browser - but not with premiere (“something went wrong”). The same if I sign in at the frame.io-page.I deleted all cache-files, most recently I reinstalled Premiere 26.2.0. Hi everyone,I'm building a premier pro plugin with uxp and stuck with a problem as I'm facing a challenge to mimic the razor tool feature.I'd like to - Programmatically create these cut sections in my original video/sequence - Add markers or tags to indicate which parts came from the original source- Place them in a new sequence one after another- Export srt file programmatically- Extract video metadata programmatically Is there any way to do this using the UXP APIs, or would I need to fall back to CEP (ExtendScript) to achieve it? Premiere 24.6.1 has a bug related to soloing tracks and adjusting gain.  Mainly in that adjusting the gain does nothing, and soling a track doesn't solo it.  Downgrading to 24.5 fixes the issue.

I am currently editing a 2-hour-long feature film. We shot the film in XAVC S-I 10-bit 4:2:2 S-Log3/S-Gamut3.Cine.  There seems to be an intermittent memory leak in my computer, where the available memory will spike to 99% usage, and premiere will crash.  My computer has an AMD Ryzen 9 3900XT 12-Core Processor CPU, an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 GPU, and 64 GB of RAM. Is my computer not powerful enough? Is there a bottleneck somewhere? Or is there something wrong with my settings/premiere?

I have a still image (frame extend) layered on top of video. I want to punch a hole in the image to reveal the video below. I draw a mask in the center of the top layer and add a feather—but oh no, feathering seems to be added to the edges of the whole layer as well, not just the mask shape. 

Been working with PP CC since it came out and have had almost no problems. Now I have a head scratcher. I can't drag a video clip from the project panel to the sequence. The audio comes but the video won't. All I get is the close hand with a line through it when I hover over any of the video tracks. The clips play fine in the source monitor but still cant drag it from source to sequence either. Tried this with clips from several projects and cameras but no go.
