How do I delete unnecessary styles? It's kind of a tricky puzzle. Could you add a “Delete” button?

Why couldn’t adobe just leave the masking as a part of the opacity tools? Like what the heck? All I want to do is feather the edge of a clip and I don’t know how to do that anymore… 

It seems like something is causing Adobe Premiere to not correctly load audio tracks for .MXF files from my Sony FX6. It tries to draw out the waveform, but then abruptly stops and the audio mutes for the rest of the video. Any idea as to why this is happening? I’ve tried deleting the project file itself and purging the media cache, but that doesn’t seem to do anything.   

Hi. When I use Adobe Premiere my internet dies. I cannot download anything fast. Internet slows down. It is because of Premiere. I know because I tried many times. When I start a download and the internet is slow I closed Premiere and at that second my internet becomes faster again. The difference is really big. 100 kb per second to 10 mb per second. I couldn't fix that. I limited Adobe's RAM usage but didn't work

I'm running into an annoying bug in the Text panel while editing subtitles/captions.The Issue: Letters behave fine when typing, but punctuation marks (periods, commas, exclamation points) get placed at the start of the line instead of the end.

Hi, The audio drops out randomly in the timeline during playback. Additionally, the video is choppy in random places, just before or just after the audio drops out. It’s almost as if Premiere is running out of memory, yet when I checked settings, it’s got 26GB allocated. After speaking with Adobe support, with the only solution that seemed to work was to open Premiere in Intel mode and change the rendering engine to Mercury Playback Engine Software Only, rather than Mercury Playback Engine GPU Acceleration (Metal). This worked once, but the problem has since returned. I was told that the issue is “Apple’s drivers are not able to cooperate with the latest version” of Premiere,(direct quote) and to contact Apple, but that doesn’t make sense.  Is anyone else having the same issues? I’m running a Mac Studio, macOS Ventura, with an M1 Max and 32 GB of RAM. Thanks!Michael  

When attempting to transcribe my sequence, the auto captions load bar gets stuck at Beginning Language Pack Download. Any fixes would be appreciated.

Hi everyone,I'm editing a 2-hour video in Premiere Pro, but I only need the transcript for a few short sections that I've already cut on the timeline.When I click Transcribe, Premiere analyzes the entire original source video (2 hours) instead of just the edited clips in my sequence.Is there a way to transcribe only the selected clip or only the edited portion of the timeline without creating a new sequence or exporting the clip first?Any help would be appreciated. I have been using Premiere for the last 10 years.I shoot and edit my video projects for non-profits. I have an issue with Premiere 2025.  A few weeks ago  I started a new project I noticed the audio levels when I placed them on a sequence were hot, I had to bring the audio level down to -10 or more. This was a live talk in a noisy public space so, I wasn't happy with the audio but it was acceptable and the clips seemed to be OK when levels set at -10 which I had never done before. Today I started a new project for a client we work for every year. We filmed an interview with a better environment, I imported the interview footage into 2025 and again the audio levels were hot and I had to bring the interview down about -9. I shoot with the Canon C300ll and have been using the same microphone combinations for years. I always watch my levels on the C300 and when I import the footage into Premiere, I usually have to bring them up to +3- +4 to get good levels. I have been using Premiere 2022

Hi everyone,I am running a system with an NVIDIA Quadro K4200 (Kepler architecture, Compute Capability 3.0). As many of you know, Adobe deprecated CUDA acceleration and hardware decoding support for Kepler-based GPUs in recent releases.When trying to edit in Premiere Pro 2026 (v26.0), I constantly encounter the following issues: "Frame substitution recursion attempt aborting after multiple attempts on file..." error popups during playback. Frequent black screen issues on the Program Monitor where only audio continues to play. Mercury Playback Engine GPU Acceleration (CUDA) is completely grayed out, locking the project into Software Only mode and straining the CPU. Due to Creative Cloud's current N-1 policy, older versions like v14.9 (2020)—which was the last stable release fully supporting CUDA acceleration on Kepler cards—are no longer accessible or listed in the CC Desktop App.My Questions / Request: Does anyone have a working official Adobe direct download link or offline instal

 My CPU does not support AVX2 instructions, so I cannot install the latest Premiere Pro via CC App. I have an active subscription, i need Premiere Pro CC 2022 offline installer, how can i download it?

Hello!I am currently working on a collaborative project, and we do not have our files in a shared drive, rather saving the matching ones to our own computers. When I open my collaborators timeline, it says all media is offline. However, in the project panel, it does not show the media as offline, and the “link media” button does not work (it doesn’t allow itself to be clicked at all.) I was wondering if anyone had any advice on how to navigate this.I do believe I am on a more recent version of Premiere than my collaborator, if that could be the issue. 

Two issues that seem connected. Transcription tool usually works the first time in an edit session, but after a period (5-30mins or so) it stops working - it gets stuck in limbo saying “creating auto transcription” without progressing.At which point premiere usually stops working entirely. ie unable to load clips, play timeline etc. Saving the project is possible though. Upon rebooting the app, everything works fine for a period, including transcription, then the same thing inevitably happens. The freezing also occasionally happens without even using the transcription tool. I’ve tried many suggestions on multiple forums (eg clear media cache, revert to saved layout etc etc).Also tried going back to previous premiere version as this issue only started happening recently. nothing has helped so far.Working on an M4 macbook pro with plenty of RAM, using external drive for media.

In Premiere Pro, what is the red left bracket with a black double headed arrow running horizontally through it? This feature highlights portions of sequences in the timeline. I accidentally making it appear and I don't know how to make it go away because I don't know what it is.

Premiere Pro crashes unexpectedly on Win11 with Amd Graphics CardSteps to reproduce:1. Open Premiere Pro2. Open up a project (only .mp4 videos)3. Hi everyone,I'm building a premier pro plugin with uxp and stuck with a problem as I'm facing a challenge to mimic the razor tool feature.I'd like to - Programmatically create these cut sections in my original video/sequence - Add markers or tags to indicate which parts came from the original source- Place them in a new sequence one after another- Export srt file programmatically- Extract video metadata programmatically Is there any way to do this using the UXP APIs, or would I need to fall back to CEP (ExtendScript) to achieve it? Hi, I have paid version of creative cloud pro In my server there is no graphic card and i don’t want it. I am a small video editor and the server is lying with me with no use. So I decided to use it. Its a 24 core cpu dual socket, 256gb ecc ram and 8tb hdd. I want to use for video editing for just 1080p  videos or less. But the issue is Video rendering and playback option greyed out and i want adobe premier pro use cpu resouce for rendering.

Trying to adjust multiple transitions on audio and video at the same time but it only affects one transition at a time. I thought this was a feature released in 25.4 (https://helpx.adobe.com/au/premiere/desktop/edit-projects/intro-to-editing/apply-multi-transitions-across-audio-and-video-clips.html) but it doesn’t seem to work. I can’t find any videos or articles that explain this problem or even anyone acknowledging this feature even exists. Can anyone help me? Is there a setting I need to enable?

I'm building a UXP hybrid panel for audio-driven multi-cam editing in Premiere Pro 26.2.2. The core operation should be conceptually simple: blade each camera-track's nested-sequence clip at every cut boundary, then enable/disable each resulting segment based on which camera is active.The Premiere UI razor tool does this trivially — each resulting piece keeps the correct source mapping (left = source [0, T], right = source [T, end]). I have not been able to achieve the same result through the UXP API, and a community manager confirmed 7 months ago that "There is not yet any UXP API that mimics the razor tool."I've now exhausted every documented and reasonably-undocumented composition I can find. I used Premiere to produce an .mp4 video, starting with an .mp4 video captured via AVerMedia ReCentral 4 from a website. In scenes that are very dark, there is blotchiness in the dark areas. How can I get rid of the blotchiness? Details:Premiere Pro v 25.x running on Windows11. Source video: .mp4, codec avc1, 3840 x 2160 pixels, 60 fps, frame rate mode variable, color space YUV, 8 bit depth, progressive scan, 16:9 aspect ratio. I'm designing a broadcast package, and it requires animating a blur over the background underneath the title animation.In After Effects, everything looks great, but as soon as I export the Mogrt to Premiere, only the title animation works.The adjustment layer to blur the background is apparently not recognised.  My suspicion is that the Essential Graphics Mogrt is rendered as an autonomous clip, therefore ignoring any adjustment layers that would apply to footage outside of the Mogrt.   Since this Mogrt is to be distributed to and used by several different production companies, having them animate the blur in Premiere themselves is NOT an option, as this would result in random and different end results, depending on how they feel fit to apply the blur.Is there a way to automate this process, preferably linked to the timing of the Mogrt?
