When Premiere Pro crashes, it places the crash logs on your computer. The crash logs store relevant information that can help in troubleshooting the issue. I can't share my file music with Pr, since yesterday, the photos and videos yes but the music no, it tells me that the file is empty and it's not true, the file is loaded with all the music.

Issue - I edit in list view, with many layers of bins to organize my project. Bins twirl down and back up all the time depending on what I am doing. I leave my bins open in the state I left them when I close a project so I can pick right back up next time. Lately, however, when I re-open a project, all the bins have been collapsed so I have to re-twirl everything back down. Updated to latest version 24.4.0 and the Alt+ scroll zoom behaves different. It zooms to a totally different timeline area than the usual mouse pointer/playhead. Any workarounds?

All of a sudden I cannot export H.264 (or other) files.  I have tried the widely-known and available remedies and nothing works.  Files attached.Would greatly appreciate any suggestions.TYJim M.

The Premiere Pro Export window isn't defaulting to Source In/Out when In/Out points are used. Furthermore, it seems to be reverting back to ‘Entire Source’ almost at random. I have to make sure I check that it’s on Source In/Out. My understanding is that Premiere is supposed to check whether In/Out points are being used and set the source accordingly? Hello! I’m trying to take a sequence that’s in a Premiere Production and move it into a regular Project. I made sure all of the media that’s in the sequence is in my project, and imported the sequence, unchecking the option to bring in duplicates. But when I go into the sequence, select a clip and reveal in project, it opens the Production project the clip originally lived in. Is there a way to ensure it matches back to media in my current project? I was thinking reassociate source clips could work but it was grayed out. Thank you!!

Hi everyone, another editor has created multi-camera sequences including sound which I am taking over. But I would rather use Premiere to edit the rest. Is there a way to export the whole multi-camera sequence from DaVinci to Premiere and still keep the synced multicam and sound? Many thanks.

I have gone to use a effect on a video i'm creating and the "color balance (HLS)" effct isn't coming up. I have tried on someone elses laptop and i can find it but not on mine. We also have the same V.22. If any one can help me that would be greatly appreceated. In the image below it should also have an effect called (Color Balance HLS)  under video effects Obsolete.

More and more on PrPro I am noticing that after I spend hours rendering in to out on my timeline to preview my films, none of these previews are linked after closing the app. I’ll close the app with the whole bar green, and re-open it with pretty much the whole bar yellow, and only a few seconds green here and there. It requires another rendering afterwards.  I checked and there are still gigabytes and gigabytes of rendered video previews in the PrPro folder in my documents. But evidently they are not linking. It usually takes maybe 3 or 4 distinct multi-hour render into outs in order for it to remember the whole bar is green. Usually I just copy and paste all clips / items into a new sequence when this happens, assuming it to be a bug from a large, complex and defective sequence. But now this isn’t working either, as this one was a freshly-created sequence. I looked online for solutions and found only sketchy workarounds involving “scratch disk settings” and “tricking it into looking

PP2022I am not sure if this has always been like that, or if it's a new thing but it's driving me nuts. For example:I watch my edit in the timeline and then in some part I zoom in to inspect some detail while it keeps playing. If I now hit pause the timeline automatically jumps to where the playhead has moved to while I was inspecting and away from the section I was looking at.  I would like the timeline to stay on the section I was looking at.If I click in the timeline in order to relocate the playhead while it's playing, it will always jump to the current playhead's position and not where I clicked.In order to achieve this I always have to zoom out, so that the playhead is visible, then stop, move the playhead to where I want to be and zoom out.  This has cost me so much time and I am about to lose my mind about it. I really can't remember ever having this problem in 15 years of editing.  I hope I am making myself understand. I have been searching extens

I turn on Selection follows playhead, skip to next edit and it works fine. But when i press play and the playhead moves along the timeline, when it stops, the selection still remains on the previous clip. It’s supposed to select the clip the playhead is over!This is slowing me down massively as I rely on this feature along with my tourbox to fly through edits making quick adjustments.It worked fine on 25 but 26.3 has broken it.

I’m trying to click and drag on track 2 to move the image but the Selection tool snaps to the first track as soon as I try to do that.  Not sure how posting a screen shot helps but doing it anyway.  Thanks for anyone who knows what might be going wrong.    

I’m trying to drag the media into the timeline (no sequence yet), and it wont create a sequence. I’ve tried to right click the clip and then create sequence from there and it doesnt work. There is no cursor blocking indication, nothing happens when i drag and drop.I’ve also tried changing up some of the audio devices settings and clearing the media cache and whatnot too.This is my first time using Adobe Premier and I really thought it would be much easier to use but this is the worst experience with software so far. Edit 1:I am now able to create the sequence, but dragging a .mov file into it doesnt come with the audioEdit 2:for the audio problem, here is everything i’ve tried so far- Initial diagnosis (specific to the .mov file)Confirmed source patching (V1↔V1, A1↔A1) was correctly connected Confirmed the file showed "Contains Linked Audio" in Premiere Diagnosed Variable Frame Rate (VFR) as the likely cause (file was a macOS screen recording, "Movie on [date] at [time].mov")File-level

Using this feature for the first time, love it. But find that it’s really easy to accidentally clear the text you’ve selected, especially when doing longer blocks than the screen displays. You soft of have to stay parked on a word. If you veer slightly beyond the end of a word it will clear the whole selection. And sometimes I find I can’t highlight any text unless I do it backwards, from the out back to the in. Anyone else seeing this? v26.3 OS26.2

I typically use the transcribe feature (in English, with minimum pause length set to 0.01 seconds) to edit my videos, with cuts largely dictated by the narration. In the text window, I was able to click on an ellipses “[...]” which would select the pause in the timeline, then delete it, shifting the timeline automatically as necessary. Worked beautifully.After the update to 26.2.2 maybe a month ago, when I click an ellipses it is not selecting the full pause in the timeline; when I delete the selection it is leaving a gap behind of about 1 second (but the exact amount is inconsistent).I think the issue is in the transcribe feature itself. I have projects that I transcribed before the update and they still work as before. But if I take those same source files into a new project and transcribe them post-update, the pauses are now measured as being too short.This is a workflow killer for me--what used to take 1-2 hours to edit is now taking 6-8. So hoping someone can help me out. I use a program to create golf tracers called Shot Tracer Pro. It's for Mac and PC. The PC version does not export the tracer as an alpha channel but the Mac version does. In the past I've exported a clip from Premiere on my PC and then imported it into my Macbook Pro into Shot Tracer Pro, the up and then exported the tracer as an alpha channel that I can bring into Premiere on my PC. I simply place it on top of the golf shot and I have a tracer. It all worked well until I updated to the latest version of Windows 11. (25H2) Now I seem to get artifacting in the alpha channel clip. Please see the attached photo.Those black lines on the tracer to the left shouldn't be there. When I put these on a timeline on the Mac in Premiere, which I have on my Macbook Pro, it doesn't happen. The photo without the black lines is from the Mac. I know most people won't know the program shot Tracer Pro but I thought somebody might have an idea of what's going on. Again t

The attached video demonstrates Premiere Pro's escalating RAM usage during editing, caused by the inefficient management of committed memory. Although clearing the media cache is often suggested as a fix, it provides only temporary relief. By default, Premiere Pro stores its cache on the C:/ drive, so clearing the cache merely delays the problem by freeing up space for the committed memory to continue filling up.When editing in Premiere Pro, Windows transfers unused data from RAM to the committed memory space, which Premiere Pro fails to release. This data accumulates in the C:/ drive (Windows default), gradually filling available space.
