Cannot find my previous topic about this issue, so I have to start a new one, and I have an update. The issue: when inside a multicam if you try and change settings in the Lumetri color panel for some of the tracks there, the active window looses focus as soon as you do it, and the Effect Controls window will say “Multiple clips selected” though you select only one clip, obviously. This is how it looks:restarting Pr, applying another instance of a lumetri, deleting cache, resetting preferences - nothing helps, or helps for one second. The issue always comes back. This issue started to happen in Premiere 25.6.x, goes on in the current 26.0.2Steps to reproduce: start a project, import your files create a multicam sequence. I used 2 cameras + external sound in wav. start working with multicam. go inside multicam (ctrl+click), apply colorgrading to the video tracks, apply a podcast preset to the external mic audio track. At this point or later when you adjust the colors in the Lumetri tab
Hi, I am very confused as to what settings need to be adjusted in Premiere to be able to use my iPhone 17 Pro Apple Log 2 HEVC footage (4k 60 fps) and apply a LUT via Lumetri. Scouring the net and AI none of the settings are worded as they are in the application and I have played around with no luck.I’ve been using Premiere for many years but this is my first foray into using Log footage. I understand the concepts but can’t get the correct combination of setting in Premiere. Please forgive me if this has been asked before. George
¿Me pueden ayudar? No se porque no me deja eliminar las pausas, tengo la ultima version de premier pro y tambien la beta. Adjunto imagen
Hey forum,Searched high and low for a solution for this - seems like Mac people had this problem but nothing in stone fixed. After using Premiere for a few minutes the mouse cursor will "stick" to a cursor. For example between switching the Arrow, Razor and Move tools the mouse cursor won't change.Image below shows what I mean, since it should be showing the razor instead of the default mouse icon. One thing that instantly fixes it for a minute is switching between workspaces - though it comes back very shortly. It's not a program crashing bug, but extremely infuriating since I keep messing up edits since I don't know what tool I'm using. What I've tried:-Resetting cache and prefs while booting Premiere.-Uninstalling and Reinstalling using the Adobe Uninstaller tool-Create new workspaces-Create new keyboard preferences-Disable Import WorkspacesUsing:-Windows 10 64 Bit-Premiere Pro CC 12.1 KentosAll the best.Example Pic:
Hi everyone, for a while now I’ve been running into a problem with Sony S-Log footage in Premiere Pro.My usual workflow was: Import Sony S-Log footage In the Project panel: right-click the clips → Modify → Color Enable Override Media Color Space Select Sony S-Log3 / S-Gamut3.Cine This always worked fine in the past and immediately converted the footage out of the flat log look. However, this no longer works at all: The override is selectable, but nothing changes visually Even if I intentionally choose a completely wrong color space, there is no effect Restarting Premiere, new projects, different clips – same result So it seems the Override Media Color Space is being ignored entirely.Has anyone else experienced this?Is this a known bug or a change in Premiere’s color management? And if this function is broken now: what is your current, technically correct way to convert Sony S-Log3 to Rec.709 in Premiere Pro?What confuses me most is that I can barely find anyone online describing
after the last update of premier pro there is no longer the option to crop a clip/image/video with handles but only with % (right, left, bottom, up). when applying the crop effect and using the pen mask tool, i can use handles but i can’t succeed to get to the result that the cropped area is left and all the rest is erased. it weas so much easier before, why did you change it? how can i set an area manually to be cropped easily?
I had the exact issue of an another thread for a while and finally found a fix that no one seems to mention.Setup: Windows 10, Premiere Pro 2023, Nvidia RTX 3050, footage shot in HDR (MOV, ~60fps).The problem: With hardware decoding enabled (ImporterMPEG.decoder_pref = hw in the debug console), colors appeared cooler/washed out compared to software decoding. Switching back to SW decode showed correct colors, but with higher CPU load. What I tried that did NOT work:Tweaking color flags in Premiere's debug console (ColorSpaceConverter.AttemptFinalPixelFormatConversion, Host.ColorConversion.EnableDisplayColorManagementForSWRenderer, etc.) Nvidia Control Panel dynamic range was already set to Limited — no change Disabling IntelEncoder.UseHwAccEncoding to prioritize NVENCWhat actually fixed it: Enabling HDR on the monitor. The footage was shot in HDR. With the monitor in SDR mode, Premiere's HW decoder was mishandling the HDR color space, displaying it incorrectly. Once HDR was enabled on the
I am exporting directly from Premiere, not via AME. I have used some mogarts but I have made sure all the fonts are there and synced. I keep getting an error half way through the export stating "a font that is required has changed restart the export." I have tried a few fonts, Algerian, Arial, I have made sure they are authorized and I keep getting this error. The first time it exported ok, and ever since, all exports fail with this error. I cant go through AME. Obviously this is somthing new as I never got this issue till 2020, does anyone have any ideas on what the cause is please?
what is happening here? why the now legacy is like that and when i drug the Gaussian Blur is like suprise me??? where is the shapes?
Issue I am experiencing severe system instability and a massive memory leak while using Premiere Pro. Randomly during a session, the software freezes and becomes completely unresponsive. On Windows 11 25H2, Task Manager showed RAM usage maxed out at 90%+, whereas on other builds (24H2/23H2), the system would freeze even when RAM usage was stable at 50%–60%. Even after closing the program, the memory is frequently not released by the OS, necessitating 3–4 full system restarts daily to continue working. This happens whether I am working from Suite Studios (Cloud) or from local 2TB NVMe storage.Steps to reproduce 1. Open Premiere Pro and load any project. 2. Add a text layer to the timeline and begin trimming the layer. 3. Continue standard editing tasks (scrubbing timeline, trimming other clips). 4. Observe the UI becoming sluggish, followed by a total system hang/freeze.Expected result Stable performance and responsive UI during basic text manipulation and trimming, with proper system-l
I use Premiere Mobile on both my iPad and iPhone. I was working on a project on my iPhone. When I opened Premiere Mobile on my iPad, I expected the project to be there, but none of the iPhone projects were available on the iPad. How do I get the Premiere Mobile projects on my iPhone to sync and be available on my iPad? Thanks,
I can't merge the files on the timeline using a hotkey . The unnecessary tracks are locked. What's the problem ?🙄
Hello everyone,I'm a developer working on a UXP plugin for Premiere Pro and I've run into a critical environment issue that I can't solve. My UXP Developer Tool is unable to detect my stable installation of Premiere Pro 2025. I am hoping someone in the community has seen this before and can offer some advice. My Environment:Host Application: Adobe Premiere Pro 2025 (Latest stable version, not Beta)Development Tool: Adobe UXP Developer Tool (Latest version)Operating System: WindowsThe Problem: When I launch the UXP Developer Tool, the "Select an Application" dropdown only shows "Premiere Pro Beta," which is an old version that has been uninstalled. It does not detect my current, stable installation of Premiere Pro 2025.When I try to load any plugin (including official Adobe samples), it fails with the error message: Plugin Load Failed. No applications are connected to the service.Expected Behavior: The UXP Developer Tool should list my stable "Premiere Pro 2025" installation, allowing me
I'm super confused so any help welcome... I have a project with a lot of MOV. files which when orignally imported where transparent in the project and worked perfectly. I exported the project, sent to client and have some changes to make. After going onto the project this morning, all my graphic MOV files now have a black background on them and I've no idea what has changed. I have been able to import a new transparent file and it works perfectly, but i'd rather not do this as it means remaking each MOV file and there are about 60 files included. All help really appreciated. Thank youJosh
I’m curious how other people working in Premiere are currently using AI in a practical editorial/logging workflow. A big part of my current project involves a lot of documentary-style footage and interviews, so I’ve started using ChatGPT almost like an assistant editor for logging and note generation. My current workflow is pretty manual, but surprisingly effective: • I transcribe a clip in Premiere• Export the transcript as a text file• Paste that transcript into a ChatGPT thread• Include a still frame from the clip• Ask it to help assess what the clip is, describe visual content, suggest logging notes, categorize usefulness, etc. I often times find this to be quicker and more effective than manually scanning the clip myself and inputting “manually”. I actually shot the footage, so I have good reference on if ChatGPT is right or not, and I am finding it surprisingly effective. What makes it especially useful is that because I’ve talked extensively with ChatGPT about the larger project
I’m currently editing a wedding and I’m trying to export my timeline as an XML so I can grade it elsewhere, but as soon as I hit export and choose a save location...Premiere Pro freezes and sometimes freezes my whole system forcing a cold shutdown unless I can force quit it in time.I’m using Premiere Pro 26.0.0 and my iMac system is running Tahoe 26.3, really need a fix for this, as its making me regret even doing this edit on Premiere Pro. Alternatively I could probably export as a PRORES 442 and then grade it elsewhere but as this is a huge project exporting QT 442 will give me a huge file PS: I have tried clearing my cache, proxying the original footage, moving my project to desktop/hard drive as well as attempting to export different section of the timelineThanks in advanceJosh
Hi everyone,I'm currently developing a plugin for Premiere Pro using the Adobe SDK, and I've run into an issue related to playback quality and rendering.I’ve noticed the following behavior: When High Quality Playback is enabled, the effect renders correctly. When High Quality Playback is disabled, the effect is not rendered at all (it appears to be skipped entirely, not just degraded). But stop is good! This makes me suspect that Premiere switches to a different render pipeline in low-quality playback. I might not fully understand the plugin system yet, but I’ve run into an issue while experimenting with PF_OutFlag2_SUPPORTS_GPU_RENDER_F32.It doesn’t seem to have any effect in my case, and I’m wondering if I might be missing something important. Some AI suggestions mentioned that I may need to implement a CPU rendering path as well. However, my effect is designed to be fully GPU-based, so I assumed that shouldn’t be necessary.Could this be the reason, or is there something else I shoul
CPU Ryzen 5600xNvidia 2060 SuperHi everyone. I encountered an issue while doing my usual stuff. I didn't do anything uncommon, just my usual workflow. Software always autoupdates to the latest version. Usually exporting process take about 20 minutes. But this time I've waited for hours just to encounter an error while rendering. So what is the issue?I tried H264, H265, Apple prores 422. Tried the same thing in AME. I tried segmented rendering and it don't stop at the same place. I tried layered rendering and found out that the issue is the rendering of Lower thirds I made in AE. They always worked fine and I didn't make any changes on them. So I tried rendering the footage only layer and it worked fine. The idea was to render the lower thirds layer separately with alpha channel, so I could add it later. And it did got stuck again. I tried updating the mogrt file by creating newer version with the newest version of after effects. Saved it on cloud/drive/local library. Same res
Hi everyone, I’m currently working on a large project in Premiere Pro Productions with a lot of material (mainly proxies, but very diverse sources, sequences, and project files). Recently I’ve started experiencing a strange issue: While editing, the playhead moves in the timeline, but the Program Monitor doesn’t refresh – the image stays frozen. This happens randomly, and sometimes it lasts for 5–10 minutes.During that time I can still move around the timeline, select clips, etc., but the viewer is stuck on a single frame.Eventually it comes back, but it’s very disruptive. I’ve already tried: Keeping my proxies on fast drives.Lowering playback resolution.Closing unused project tabs within Productions.
I want to remove one or more groups from under the Media Group Controls of a title graphics template I found on Adobe Stock (Fast Sports Stomp Promo). I can find no control to delete a group. I just need a couple of text graphic elements for what I want to do. Any help would be appreciated.
Hi everyone,I'm having a serious color consistency issue when preparing files for a professional colorist. The Setup: I have Raw footage on my Premiere Pro timeline. I exported two versions of the same clips (no effects, just the "raw" media) to send to DaVinci Resolve: Version A: 16-bit TIFF Sequence. Version B: Apple ProRes 4444 XQ (Render at Maximum Depth / Max Quality). The Problem: When my colorist imports both into DaVinci Resolve and applies the exact same grade to both, they do not match. The TIFF and the ProRes have different gamma/color shifts, even though they came from the same Premiere timeline and the same Raw source.TIFF 16 BITS:PRORES 4444 XQ: My Theory: It seems Premiere is applying some internal color management or NCLC tagging to the ProRes export that it isn't applying to the TIFF sequence. My Settings: Project/Sequence Color Space: Rec. 709. Viewer Gamma: 2.4 (Broadcast). Display Color Management: OFF. Export Settings: Both exports are set to Rec. 709, but th
when opening Premiere it starts automatically refresh and update all audio peaks of already existing and analysed project. How to set it disable and not to wait some time for the same old step. why should I stuck at the beggining of editing? I don’t need Premiere to automatically updating audio peaks
