I’m trying to adjust the duration of markers directly in the timeline, specifically markers that already have a duration set (the long rectangular “flag” style markers).My workflow is very timeline-based. I’m editing interviews and documentary material and dropping a lot of duration markers as I go. I’d love to be able to quickly trim the start/end of a marker right there in the sequence, without having to open the clip in source monitor to adjust.  The issue:When, in the timeline, I carefully move my mouse over the little end handles of the marker and try to drag them, Premiere grabs and moves the clip itself instead of adjusting the marker duration. Because of this, I’ve been forced to:* Match Frame* Open the clip in Source Monitor* Find the marker there* Click/drag to adjust the duration from there (or double click to open the marker dialog window to adjust from there)  It works, but it feels really cumbersome at scale, especially considering I’m currently exclusively creating clip

Until yesterday I used frame.io V4 in Premiere 26.2.0 with no problem. Today opening the window frame.io in premiere there is a message “something went wrong”.Even if I reload the window this message appears.The Login in my frame.io V4 account via the Browser  https://accounts.frame.io/welcome?legacy_auth=false&auth_callback=adobe%2Bppro://frameio works well: “Authentication complete. Please return to Premiere Pro.” But in premiere it doesn’t work (“something went wrong”).Opening frame.io via the application-page in creative cloud let me work with my frame.io-account within the browser - but not with premiere (“something went wrong”). The same if I sign in at the frame.io-page.I deleted all cache-files, most recently I reinstalled Premiere 26.2.0. No success.Win11, no system-changes since yesterday… No problem with internet-connection.Thanks for help!Oh, sorry, it seems I am in the wrong community chapter (bugs) - it is a question...… I try it there..

Premiere 24.6.1 has a bug related to soloing tracks and adjusting gain.  Mainly in that adjusting the gain does nothing, and soling a track doesn't solo it.  Downgrading to 24.5 fixes the issue.

I am currently editing a 2-hour-long feature film. We shot the film in XAVC S-I 10-bit 4:2:2 S-Log3/S-Gamut3.Cine.  There seems to be an intermittent memory leak in my computer, where the available memory will spike to 99% usage, and premiere will crash.  My computer has an AMD Ryzen 9 3900XT 12-Core Processor CPU, an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 GPU, and 64 GB of RAM. Is my computer not powerful enough? Is there a bottleneck somewhere? Or is there something wrong with my settings/premiere?

Been working with PP CC since it came out and have had almost no problems. Now I have a head scratcher. I can't drag a video clip from the project panel to the sequence. The audio comes but the video won't. All I get is the close hand with a line through it when I hover over any of the video tracks. The clips play fine in the source monitor but still cant drag it from source to sequence either. Tried this with clips from several projects and cameras but no go. I’ve been running into an issue with the search bar at the top of the Project Panel. At times, I’ll enter a word that I know exists in the project (in a sequence name, clip name, or metadata), and Premiere returns no results. However, if I manually navigate through the bins, I can clearly find the item. This isn’t a one-off….it happens intermittently and makes the search function feel unreliable. Is this a known bug, or is there something about how the Project Panel search works that I might be missing?

Audio while scrubbing isn't working at all in Premiere Pro 2025.  It will play a the first 10th of a second when scrubbing, but then silence.  This coupled with how insanely slow the UI is in this version and 2026 basically makes it impossible to do fine audio edits.  STOP BREAKING THINGS!!!! If you're unable to reliably release  a working app every year then slow down! This decline is software quality cannot continue 

Premiere v26.2Windows 25H2 (Build 26200.8246) and Windows 25H2 (Build 26200.8037)Tested on multiple devices When I want to edit the buttons in the button editor, in the program monitor, the new “mute monitor” button shares the same place with the one that adds an empty space.Thus, I can only select the “mute monitor” button and I’m not able to add an empty space (symbol changes on hover). The source monitor doesn’t have this problem and works as expected (see videos)

I have a 6-camera multicam sequence which is behaving in a very unpredictable way. Random segments of the video of outputting only total blackness. Looking at the multi-cam view, I see all 6 cameras on the left, and can see footage being output on the camera that I've chosen to be currently active. But the output preview on the right is totally black. Switching to composite video view still only gives a black screen, and doing a preview render still gives the same result. I can switch the segment of the multicam sequence to a different clip, and then it'll be fine, but then I switch back to the camera I want, and it's black again. I've tinkered around in the underlying sequence to make sure there's no effects or other settings there that would cause the video not to display but can't find anything that should effect it.This is specifically affecting two out of my six camera angles on this project. Hi there,I have a sequnce that I assembled using an edl.  I would now like to replace those clips with a multi-camera (or nested) sequence.  I thought I could select all clips in the sequence and then Shift+Alt drag the nested sequence onto those clips.  It's not workign as I expected.  However, I can select each clip one at a time and Shift+Alt drag the nested sequence onto the clip and they work fine- it's just cumbersome.  Am I doing something wrong or is this how it should be? TLDR: when selecting all clips and dragging the nested sequence onto them it replaces all clips but does not shift the nested sequence. So if I had a 5 minute clip with the entire middle cut out (and there's a single cut in the middle), the nested sequence would raplace these clips but would add a cut that is seemless because it doesn't actually cut the middle, rather it cuts the end.  I assume this is an in/out thing but I just don't know enough about this- that's why I won

Just ran into this issue recently, but I have a hunch it's been around for a little while. It's an annoyance more than anything, but it seems like something that could be fixed. I have a monitor that supports G-sync (Nvidia's adaptive sync technology) that I use for games. By default, G-sync will remain "on" globally (even on the desktop) unless you force it off. I've noticed that, when it's on, if I'm in Premiere then (about 50-75% of the time) whenever I start/stop playback, move a clip on the timeline, or open something in the source monitor there is a brief half-second or so where the mouse cursor skips around like the program is hanging or freezing. It makes the program feel a lot more sluggish than it actually is. It took a bit of troubleshooting to realize that G-sync is the issue, but it definetely is. If I turn it off the weird stuttering goes away (and everything is nice and smooth). If I just move the Premiere window fully over to to my second non-gsync monito

The Object Mask tool does a very poor job of cutting out the object from the video. I want to manually select the object and perform tracking, but the tracking isn't working. The tracking points stay in place and don't follow the moving object.How can I manually select an object and make the tracking follow it instead of staying in place? as it was in version 25.  I'm so tired of you making simple things so complicated😕

Hello,I just got a new computer. I am unable to open the projects I was working on my old computer as I get the following error message when I try to relink the files:"The selected file cannot be linked because its type (video) does nto match the original file's type (audio and video)."I get this when I open the program and try to locate the files from there as it’s so much faster (it will find everything in the same folder by just finding one). If I skip this and just load the program, I am able to right-click->”Replace footage,” but the audio doesn’t work. They are literally the exact same files that I moved from the old to the new computer. The only thing different is they are now on the same drive as the project I am trying to edit (hence why they need to be relocated) vs a backup drive where I used to store them (the files are hundreds of GB and my new drive is a 4TB SSD while my old one was only a 1TB SSD, which is why I had to have them on a backup 8TB drive and import them f

I'm getting this error message 

Can’t update PP or PP beta, despite every other app including ME updating without issue. I have several hundred gigs of space available and even deleted PP 25 and PP beta 25. Restarted multiple times, signed out and back in to CC, cleared caches, removed another 50gb of files, but nothing seems to work. I had this issue back in January with 26.0.1 but the post got locked. I used a placeholder mp4 to extend a shot of a woman closing a door. When I replace it with the highres material (same frame size/rate) and attempt the same extension, I get totally different, unrealistic/illogical results. She opens the door again, or appears to push it off its hinges. I burned through all my credits (10 attempts) without getting close to the result I got in 2 attempts with the mp4. What am I doing wrong? And why is there no option (or i can’t find it) to top up my credits without having to subscribe to monthy extra credits I don’t need?

I'm transcribing and subtilting a bunch if films but despite having the 'spell check' setting to English (United Kingdom) it insists on using US spellings. How can I corrct this?

This post is talking about version 23.4. I am using version 25.4.0 and still have the same issue not being able to get to the export window. This is more than frustrating and makes no sense why this happens some times and other times it doesn't. Adobe Podcast online feature leaves Premiere’s Audio Enhance feature in the dust. Adobe Podcast cleans up audio perfectly on first pass - the clean output is like a miracle. When will Adobe integrate it into Premiere?

Continuously been facing issues while installing Adobe Premiere Pro. Error Code: 146 is showing Up again and again. 'Unable to move file.
