Help!  I have Adobe Pro and have created a portfolio to submit invoices. However, the accounting team (who uses adobe) cannot open the files. They get this:  They won't pay me now & I don't know how to fix this issues.  

This started happening yesterday and I don't know of anyone else that's having this issue currently. So, here at work we occasionally get a message saying "Error reading stream" and it gives us black pages - it's easy enough to work around: Just pop it open in Paint then Save it and it's fully visible in Acrobat. Now when I go to Edit > Right-click black page (any page, really) > Edit Using > Microsoft Paint, I get the attached error message. I do have a rather tedious workaround for the time being, but of course I'd much rather just be able to do things quickly. It doesn't matter if this is a brand new file (that I created), an existing file I had worked in previously, or something I downloaded fresh, for the record. Due to a recent user policy update here, we have to involve tech support to repair Acrobat, so I've not only had the repair option run, but we also just straight up uninstalled and reinstalled it to see if it'd work. Could you change the "create" tab to a buutton where it has to be pressed to make it open? When i am moving adobe from one screen to another and have several tabs open it keeps activating when i don't want it to. Then i have to close down the tab and try again. This slows down my workflow and is an annoyance. Making it into an action button would present no issue to those who use it frequently but would improve my user interaction with the software immensley. Everytime i move the mouse over it it wants to start creating a new page and slows me down. It is infuriating. 

Hi, I'd like to check if there's a way to set up the preflight check in acrobat DC so I can verify if arabic or hebrew text is written from left to right instead of right to left.  Thanks

I prepare lots of documents which contain hyperlinks to external websites, but I am finding that these links are taking an unacceptably long time to open and my customers are complaining that the links don't work. The links do work but it takew anything from 1 - 2 minutes to complete before offering the option to trust or block the website that is linked to. This is so slow that my clients assume the links are not responding and they give up. I have gone into the Preferences settings and changed the security settings as below, but this made no difference:Adobe Acrobat>Preferences>Security (Enhanced)>disable "Protected View" and "Enhanced Security">OK>Is there some setting I can change when creating PDFs from Word files that would resolve this issue?

Hi , For one of our customers we have an Pooled Azure Virtual Desktop environment. Most of the users only need Adobe reader. Only a few of them have an account at Adobe to logon. Is it possible to let both type of users work on the same AVD host?. Because it is a pooled environment with scaling plan we cannot let all users  with adobe accounts logon to  one host and all other Reader users on the other hosts.  Further more we don't want the normal reader users to get questions about upsale or sign in.  Has anyone an idea if that is possible without creating an extra hostpool. Thx in Advance, Jan

Seit dem letzten update kann ich für pdf keine Vorschau mehr sehen. Alle Kästen und Haken sind korrekt gesetzt. Ich muss jede datei erst öffnen. Da ich beruflich viel mit pdf arbeite, ist das echt nervig. hab probeweise auf foxit umgestellt, aber das Problem bleibt. Wer kann helfen?

I‌ have converted a word document to PDF which has many hyperlinks within the same document. How to I return to the original page after viewing the hyperlinked page? thanks Heather

I have never used Actions before but I know that once I pick my tools to add, and the files to apply it them, I should be able to specify each tool more (e.g. "Add Text"- actually adding what text I want and format it) using the Specify Settings button..... there is no Specify Settings button anwhere. Am I missing something? 

I converted my word document to pdf and black borders appear around text boxes which are on top of an object (circle), see screenshot. I did this a couple of weeks ago and only the text appeared. Now, borders appear where they shouldn't be there. Any idea what happened and how to solve this? I already tried to remove them and add them again but it's still the same. As it's for the layout of a book which needs a small revision, I can't start the document all over again.n.

Hi, recent update to acrobat I assume. When ever I open it in windows it goes full screen. I can resize it, quit and reopen and its back to full screen. On any document. Can adobe fix this, rather than pushing AI features, cheers.

Hi,  I am running Windows 11, have a fresh install of Adobe Creative Cloud and Adobe Acrobat. After merging my Word document to PDF via the Mailing tab,and setting up automatic emailing, the merging works fine and i get a message that email has been successfully sent. However, the emails are not being sent. What could be the problem? Jonathan

Hi all, New to using Adobe, currently trying to make a fillable timesheet which automatically calculates employees total hours once they enter their start and finish times - every solution which I have found requires custom scripting which I am not fully aware of how to do! I have been using Adobe Version 2025.001.20756 and I am facing significant issues since the update.I only need to go in and update specific fields/texts, but since I have started using this version I am facing terrible issues.Once you right click & select - Edit a PDF, you will find that now the file has multiple boxes which you will need to remove. Earlier it was just go directly in the text box edit the text and save the pdf in less than a min.Now for the same work now it is taking enough time because you get multiple boxes which are just blank and you need to select borders of those boxes and hit delete and entire pdf is filled with all those boxes.So first you need to remove all those non-sense blank boxes and only then you are able to actually edit. And if you accidentally delete a box containing which has the text in it, then entire text boxes in the page shifts up which is just Horrible.In no way you could select all the text boxes at once and move those entire boxes ba

Why must the AI settings be enabled every time Adobe Acrobat updates?  Acrobat doesn't need the dumb AI features to slow it down, it does a good enough job at being slow as it is.  Now when I open Acrobat, it wants to show off all the assenine features no one asked for and get in the way of the work I'm trying to do.  The least Adobe could do is make Acrobat free with the amount of data they are gleeming from us users. I ask again why must the AI settings be enabled every time Adobe Acrobat updates?  To the Brain Dead Devs, grow a spine and just stop this behavior.  Let users select what features they want to have on or off and stop messing with it on updates.  People already hate you all and this type of activity just makes us want to take action.

Testing Tahoe 26.1 on an M3 MacBook Pro. Encountering an issue where the pop-up window under default settings isn't working. The window doesn't pop-up. There aren't any of my profiles to distill a PDF (able to see my profiles in InDesign). Saw in google searches that this may be a known issue. Can anyone confirm? And is there a fix or workaround? Hi All, Since I have updated to Adobe Acrobrat 25.001.20844 64 bit, my settings in the Adobe PDF printer keep reverting back to the default settings.

I have adobe pro license - just paid. I still couldnt find the redact function. What license and version I should have to use REDACT? how to confirm if I have the correct license or version to use the REDACT function？Thanks much.

When I open a PDF File, the name of the file is usually the name that shows in the window up on the LHS of the screen. But yesterday I opened a file and the name that showed was a different one. Does anyone know why and how I can change it or why this happened?

Anyone else experiencing incessecent bugs while trying to use Acrobat AI Assistant. I'm a paid user and yet I've not been able to use this assistant even once in the last few months. It selectively works only on the browser but not on my desktop app.  Takes several minutes to process any document and ends up with the same "Error" screen. Receive the same error across my phone and laptop apps. Why put out a feature when it doesn't work? I'm sure there are tight deadlines to catchup with the AI race, but atleast build something which works before rolling it out to the end-users. Really spoiled my experience with the constant loading, processing and errors.

I have 3 displays. I need to view Adobe Acrobat on Display 3. When I open new pdfs, (Acrobat is already open on Display 3), Acrobat switches to Display 1 then opens the file. I realize it does this because Display 1 is my Home display, but I want my Home display to be Display 1, not 3. (Changing my Home display to Display 3 shouldn't be the only option.) When I open pdfs from my browser, they open on whichever display Acrobat is already open (on Display 3) as they should. This issue only occurs when I open a file from Windows file explorer. I've tried the "resizing tip" and other tips from the web - even my enterprise IT team couldn't figure it out. This is so frustrating. There has to be a setting that will fix this.

Hi All, Recently a user for a client I support, came to me about the logtransport2.exe error on her Windows 11 machine.  It pops up a lot and causes freezes on her machine.  I'm looking into that more tomorrow.   I read in various articles that this process is part of the data and usage collection Adobe sends to its servers.  I read that the process is controlled by the HKLM\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\Policies\Adobe\(product name)\(version)\FeatureLockDown "usagemeasurement" key. I checked my adobe (free version) and I'm opted into sending data.  However, I don't see the usagemeasurement key?  If data collection is on in my account, shouldn't I see the "usagemeasurement" key? Thoughts appreciated.

Hi,I’m trying to install and activate Adobe Acrobat X on my current Windows computer, but I get the following messages during setup:“Setup has detected that you already have a more functional product installed.”and later:“Your license allows activation on 2 computers only.”I believe this is because I previously had Acrobat X installed on my old laptop, which I no longer use.I have already uninstalled the program there, but I can’t deactivate it since the computer is no longer available.I contacted Adobe Support by phone, but they told me that support for Acrobat X has ended and that they are no longer able to reset activations for this product.Could someone here please help me reset the activations for my Acrobat X license, or advise if there is any other way to activate it on my new computer?Product: Adobe Acrobat X (Student and teacher edition)Serial number: Available upon requestThank you very much for your help and understanding!Best regards,Dennis
