I'm looking to mail merge into a fillable PDF form with addresses in an Excel file.  I had Acrobat 9 but was advised this functionality was only available in newer versions of Acrobat so upgraded to Acrobat Pro 2017.  However, still cannot find any options to perform a PDF mail merge. Is this possible?

Bij dubbelzijdig printen crasht Acrobat. In het scherm 'Afdrukken' staan twee tabbladen: Eigenschappen en Geavanceerd. Bij klikken op het tabblad Eigenschappen crasht Acrobat na luttele seconden. Op mijn laptop printen naar dezelfde printer gaat wel goed. Een keer verscheen de melding: "C:\Program Files\Adobe\Acrobat DC\PDFMaker\Office\PDFMPower.Poimt.dll" is waarschijnlijk op een andere manier bijgewerkt en kan niet door deze patch worden verwijderd. Ik heb Adobe DC verwijderd en opnieuw geïnstalleerd, en ook de updates er overheen. Maar het heeft geen verschil gemaakt. Wat kan hier de oorzaak zijn? N.B. het af te drukken bestand staat op een lokaal netwerk (NAS). OS Windows 10 Pro.

Hi!I’m running Adobe Acrobat Continuous Release Version 2026.001.21367 | 64-bit.Everything was fine earlier this month. However, by Friday, April 3rd, I started having problems with Acrobat crashing every time I tried to delete text inside a container in the Content Panel.At first, when I deleted the whole container, it would also make the container below disappear as well, but the physical content on the page would still be there and would re-appear once the file was save.Then, I had to revise/replace some text in an H2 tag—not all the text but only some–in a 508-compliant PDF. I had a separate replacement PDF with the correct text and my 508-compliant PDF I was working on. In the 508 file, I went into the Content Panel and tried to delete some of the text in a container and it kept crashing. Over and over it crashed. Then, I separated out the text I needed to replace from the rest of its companion and was able to delete it and then copy in the new text.This is a new development with

I no longer have the driver to print to a PDF. It had worked for as long as I can remember.  I have the latest version of Adobe Reader DC and run under Windows 8.1 (also tried a Repair).  I have seen the instructions below, but in step 4, the Documents\*.pdf (Adobe PDF) is not listed in the drop-down menu.  Looks like lots of other people are having this problem, but I've been unable to find a solution.  Thanks in advance.Click Start > Control Panel > Devices and Printers.Select Add a printer.Select Add a local printer.Check Use an existing port and select Documents\*.pdf (Adobe PDF) from the drop down. ...Click the Have Disk… ...Click the Browse… ...Navigate to C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Acrobat 10.0\Acrobat\Xtras\AdobePDF.

Unstalled Acrobat since I was missing ‘Print production tool’ under All Tools. I was told to re-install Acrobat, but now i can’t reinstall it. I’ve tried restarting anfter every attempt  Using Mac OS Monterey 12.7.6 on a Macbook Pro 2015Then I tried to download it separate from Creative Cloud and it’s not possible. 

Hello, Adobe Acrobat inform me that it can't write on disk instead of right settings in privacy setting (Full disk acces).Any suggestions ??? Thanks. 

How do I sort bookmarks in Adobe Acrobat Pro, 2023 numerically or alpabetically? I deal with medical records that are not necessarily in date order, and it's rather frustrating to have to move every single bookmark around as I enter it to keep it in order. And then, I may have to still change their names. I CANNOT access the registry [this is a company machine.] There is NO entry in the ADD INS section. I am not a programmer and if you give me instructions for something in Java, please give it to me step-by-step, 1-2-3. Surely a company as large as Adobe can put in their database a SORT BY parameter option in the database...that Relational Database 101. Not a hard fix if the database has been programmed correctly in the first place. Does anyone have anything HELPFUL? I am so frustrated now...I've spend over two hours searching. And then I'm dealing with the limitations of Win 11 upgrade...sheesh. Just make things WORK!

For 5+ years, Acrobat on macOS has had a bug that overwrites the original “created” date on certain PDFs (mostly, dynamic XML-basd PDFs) whenever it is saved. This  breaks cloud document management systems, corrupts metadata, and causes real data loss.Support tickets have gone nowhere; they get closed within 24 hours with zero response or insight.Anybody got a fix? The text that I've added to a .pdf file (& sometimes comment boxes) won't print when I print the .pdf.  It used to.  Same thing with stamps, they are not printing out on the document and they used to.  Have a accidently turned something off?  I have Adobe Acrobat XI Standard.

I have a form that contains a 3-page checklist, the first page is shown. I’m using the Accessibility detect form fields tool and it does all of the other questions perfectly (including some smaller checklists), but on these 3 pages, the checkboxes are only recognized as text boxes! I generally add the checkboxes manually, which takes hours, but I feel that there must be some way around this! General research hasn’t provided a solution, just similar situations. Does anyone know how I can either get the forms wizard to recognize the checkboxes (and no, I can’t change the spacing between them), or some way to convert the text boxes to checkboxes?Thank you. 

I’m new to Acrobat Express but fairly familiar with the old desktop Acrobat Standard.  I know Adobe is not keen on User Guides or Reference Manuals, but I need something like that to learn how to use this new tool for desktop PDF handling.I can already see that essential PDF tools, such as editing, organizing, etc., are missing from this version.  I have no interest in the AI assistant, nor in any of the flashy graphic production that it seems to feature.  This seems to leave me with only the ability to open some image files (e.g., scanned output) and export them as PDFs (from which MS Word can take over to make them editable); or with a substitute for Acrobat Reader to open PDFs.  This doesn’t seem worth paying $110/year unless I’m missing something!?I don’t want to spend $240/year for Acrobat Pro, though that seems to be what’s required to do what I used to be able to do with the old Acrobat Standard 2017!  Is there and upgrade path (without loosing the money I’ve already dropped on

Ich besitze eine regulär erworbene Dauerlizenz von Adobe Acrobat Pro 2017. Das Produkt ist seit Dezember 2017 in meinem Adobe-Konto registriert.Acrobat Pro 2017 war auf meinem bisherigen Acer-PC aktiviert. Auf diesem PC wurde Windows inzwischen vollständig neu installiert, ohne dass Acrobat vorher deaktiviert wurde. Die alte Windows-Installation und damit die damalige Acrobat-Aktivierung existieren nicht mehr.Nun möchte ich meine Acrobat-Pro-2017-Lizenz auf meinem neuen Lenovo-PC verwenden. Bei der Aktivierung erscheint jedoch die Meldung, dass die Seriennummer bereits auf der maximal zulässigen Anzahl von Computern verwendet wird und ich zunächst einen anderen Computer deaktivieren müsse.Das ist mir nicht möglich, weil die betreffende alte Windows-Installation nicht mehr existiert.Auffällig ist außerdem: In meinem Adobe-Konto wird Acrobat Professional Version 17 mit meiner Seriennummer korrekt als registriertes Produkt angezeigt. Hello,We had a really old version of acrobat reader x worked liked a charm. no errors no stupid push to buy this buy that from adobe. my boss decided we should have ability to edit pdfs. we purchased the newest acrobat standard and installed. shortly after, we started to get a popup, i would say every 1-2hrs with the following error: node.js Javascript Runtime has stopped working. I googgled it and tried some of the things that were suggested. repair the acrobat install, Disable Acrobat JavaScript, rename node.exe and have a new one be created,Clear the Adobe OOBE Cache. None of this worked. We use amazon workspaces. the current operating systems are windows server 2016, all machines have 16g ram and 150g c drive and 250g d drive. I hope someone can help or point me into the right direction to solve this annoying error. 

My original images are flagged as ai generated on adobe. I am going to submit my paper to a journal. I have to fix this. I don't know why it is seen like that. Plase help me fix it.

I’ve been tagged in comments on shared PDFs but not received email notifications for it. Others in our team have reported the same issue. It seems to be intermittent as often we will receive email notifications.

I am having an issue since the latest windows update and Adobe updates where opening up multiple pdf's take an extremly long time. The problem appears to get worse if the file is large and the more pdf' you have open th slower it gets as well. If you close adobe acrobat down and reopen the first file opens quickly. I have 32 GB of RAM on a 13 generation i7 processor so processing power is not the issue. I have also tried disabling the security and enhanced security as well as disabling the show online storage when opening files. I have also disabled the modern Acrobat interface.

Hi everyone,I'm having an issue with Adobe Acrobat when working with large PDF files (around 200–500 pages). My computer has plenty of RAM, a fast SSD, and a modern processor, but Acrobat still becomes slow when scrolling, searching, or switching between pages.I've already tried:Updating Acrobat to the latest version Restarting my PC Disabling unnecessary background appsThe problem still occurs with multiple PDF files.Is there any Acrobat setting that can improve performance for large documents? I had a saved signature in Adobe that whenever I needed to sign a doc, I clicked "place signature" and an image of my signature was available to drag onto the doc. Now, when I try, it's saying "To begin signing, choose the 'Drag New Signature Rectangle' button, and then drag out the area where you would like your signature to appear." I don't understand where my signature went. I have been using it for years. I can still place my initials. What is going on?

Beim Benutzen von Acrobat pro Version 2024.003.20054 auf Windows 11 (neuste Version) friert Acrobat regelmäßig ein und es wir beim Acrobat Fenster "keine Rückmeldung" angezeigt.

I cannot print a4 and a3 on a single pdf. Even i check that there is not update and i have reinstall to the latest adobe and still not able to print a4 and a3 pages together. 

I have read previous posts about the Save As function not working when trying to save a combined file. I have deselected both "Save As optimized for Fast Web View" and "Show online storage when opening files" in the preferences screen, as past posts indicate this would fix the issue.When I attempt to save the new combined file on either a cloud server or my local device I am unable to save the new combined file unless I print to PDF, which causes the file to be unreasonably large or crashes my adobe. Further if I attempt to compress the printed file, I run into the same issue of it not being able to save a new instance.I have checked for updates and ran any updates. I have performed a repair install and the issues remain. What is mind blowing to me is that this seems to be a known bug for nearly 8 years and it is not resolved. Anyone know how to fix this or where I may have gone wrong?

I have had this issues a few times now. I filled in and saved a form and wanted to edit some info after, I couldn't. Why is the type text tool missing after I edited and saved the pdf?  This was before I edited the pdf which shows the tool After I edited and saved, it's missing I tried to look for it from "Find tools" and nothing.  I ended up having to fill in the form from downloading the new form again.  Why is this happening??
