I had to rebuild my machine which meant installing all the latest versions of CC. However I really not getting on with the new Acrobat. With my workflow I have to created multiple packages based on the design with client changes. And as part of checking I used to have to swap between documents to visually check if anything off.  However with the lastest Acrobat bacause they have made the window tabs so small I cannot see the complete filename no more or which version of the document I'm viewing. I really don't understand it, if I have a whole wide screen why do they have to make the tabs so narrow? Also on the Mac, every window used to have a document icon. This was really useful as I could drag this to the Illustrator app icon and open the PDF without having to find the original document.  Please give us the ability to make the window tabs wider!! 

Why has the text call out tool vanished from the comments menu????And more importantly, why can't I get it back?When I go to customise tools, the buttons to add the tool back in are greyed out. It is stupid things like this that makes users angry.   We are busy and don't have time to waste trying to fix problems created by Adobe.

where can i find the AI on 'review' part of the app ? 

This happens every time I try to load a pdf on my main  home computer, but on another home laptop Acrobat works fine. 

In my Adobe account, I have my languages set as 1: German, 2: English. However, when I get emails from Adobe Acrobat telling me that someone has left a comment on a PDF I shared with them, the emails always have a Norwegian subject line. The rest of the email is correctly displayed in German, but the subject line is always in Norwegian. Does anyone know how to fix this?

I am trying to print a 17 x 22 in poster.  The program tiles it into 4 pages but it only prints on 1 page.  At the bottom of the page, it indicates page 1 of 1 instead of page 1 of 4.  This used to work but all of a sudden stopped.   Print as image is NOT selected.  

I reinstalled Acrobat on windows 10 and it hangs from the get go like the previous version. Not only will it not allow me to navigate a file but nothing works on the screen not even to close the application. Is there a version that works?

When the PDF file is scanned, the highlighter is a marker that I can draw on top of the line I would like to highlight. It even straightens if the highlighting line I've drawn is awry.  Like this:  But, in different PDF files that are not scanned and the app can recognize the text, the highlighter becomes a cursor that does not highlight evenly like a marker.  Like this:   Is there a way to highlight all of my PDFs like in the first example and make it look like they're highlighted with a marker?

Acrobat describes "premium tools" as distinct and limited to one use every 30-rolling-day period for the free Adobe Acrobat account.  Is saving a Word document as a .pdf, using a "premium tool"?

I mistakenly deleted Adobe on a Mac desktop. I have an active account which I paid for. I am trying to reinstall it. It asks for a password to creative cloud which I do not have. It will not accept my current Adobe password. Please help.

Hi Team, I've activated Acrobat Pro today (28th May, 2025) with a payment plan of Annual, billed monthly through a credit card. According to the plan, free trial is for 7 days from today and will be charged Rs. 944/- on 5th June, 2025. But, amount was debited from my credit card immediately after starting the free trial. When I checked with the bank, they said merchant initiated the transaction. I went to edit a PDF and the edit dialogue box opened, but nothing responds when clicking to make changes.I uninstalled, and then reinstalled Acrobat, but the same issue appears. I had to change my computer because my disk died and i installed the adobe Xi pro on my new computer but it is asking me to deactivate the old computer. i am not able to do it beacuse the disk burned. I also don't see any registered deviced on my account. Can you please help?

Hi all, the (well-known) runtime-error 53 reappears more stubbornly after installation of MacOS Sequoia 15.  This time, the well-practiced routine (deleting linkCreation.dotm or Save AsAdobePDF.ppam respectively from their respective folders Library/Application Support/Microsoft/Office365/User Content.localized/Startup/… does not work anymore, as the two files are no longer there and thus can't be deleted… (in fact, I searched the files with the finder search engine and could’t find them anywhere else). Just unchecking the addin inside Word oder PPT does not help either... Any suggestions what to do about this tiresome error?Thank you very much!Stephan

I want to add an interactive calendar link to a pdf so when the recipient opens the document they can click on the date and it will automatically add it to their calendar. Is this possible?

I recently received a notification that stated in part that, "support for Acrobat Pro 2020 will end by July 2025, and the licenses will expire on December 1, 2026, after which the product will no longer function." Is this true, and if so, can they really deactivate products I purchased years ago? I have two Acrobat Pro 2020 licenses and am wondering what my options are to keep these products working.

Hi everyone,I'm hoping someone can shed some light on a persistent performance issue I'm facing with Adobe Acrobat Reader. The application feels surprisingly slow and laggy on my system, even for basic tasks like opening files, scrolling through documents, or zooming.My usage is very simple – I only use Acrobat for viewing PDFs, not for editing or any other heavy tasks. I'm trying to create an expense reimbursement form that auto calculates amount subtotals based on the selection of expense types. Essentially, I want to have all Travel go into one subtotal field, all lodging to go in another, all per diem in another, etc. Is there a way to perform a SUMIF function in a PDF that will distribute those expense amounts by expense type?  Hello. My Acrobat updated itself to Version 2025.001.20756 (on MacOS Sonoma) and now the file thumbnail is missing from the title bar. My typical workflow for getting notes from client PDFs into photoshop entails clicking and dragging that thumbnail into photoshop to place the page I need. Similar to the attached screenshot, which is instead dragging a file from Photoshop since Acrobat no longer lets you. Is there a way to get this back, and if not, Adobe please add back this functionality. I have a 27" monitor, the 20px that was saved by removing the title bar is not helpful.  

Adobe Acrobat - Right Click - Convert Multiple Documents I am in Windows 11 and others in my company in Windows 10 When we highlight multiple documents at once, then click CONVERT TO PDF - the documents go to the COMBINE page. We dont want to combine them, we want to CONVERT them in bulk to pdf. It used to work and now it doesnt.

How do I embed a PDF in a Word document to send to others outside of my office
