A year or so ago, i collabed with a co worker and made a digital stamp from our physical ink stamp.  We added drop down lists, text boxes, etc.  We then saved that df stamp in c:>program files>adobe>acrobat dc>acrobat>plug_ins>annotations>stamps>ENU.   With that file open in adobe, i could change the info in the drop down lists, and then when i go to another pdf, i can select add a stamp>stamp, and it shows up there to select and put on the current pdf file.  Basically what im doing here is stamping an invoice for approval.    We recently changed some info so i created a new stamp. I added drop down lists and text boxes, i put the same custom calculation scripts in the appropriate boxes so the stamp populates just like my old one did.   The problem im having is when i then save thos new stamp in that same ENU file path folder, it is not showing up under the stamp function like the old one does.    Im certain im missing something somewhere but cant for the lif

We’re seeing lots of computers with completely full disks in our environment, on investigation it’s the Chrome logging directory that’s full of 4MB log files that appear to be constantly creating. The name of the folder is the Acrobat’s extension ID. We can delete them but they come back, only way to stop it is to remove the Chrome extension. Anybody seen this before?

Can anyone advise how I get rid of the secondary file name in the long red rectangle? When it appears, half of my tools disappear behind the 3 dots.... Very annoying !! 

Is there a real answer to this yet? This was not an issue for me until recently. Acrobat is simply the worst. I am embarrassed for anyone who has anything to do with this program.

Hello I uploaded last adobe reader for macos AcroRdrSCADC2600121529_MUI and I applied last update. Unfortunately the feature Fill&Sign is missing, any other user with same problem ?

I'm trying to use an installation of Adobe Acrobat to edit a document. Colleagues in my office have successfully been able to edit this document with their installations of the software. When I try, I get this message:Typed text does appear to be Arial but if I try to type numbers, I get peculiar looking characters that might be from the Hebrew character set?In trying to fix this I discovered, to my surprise, that if I try and "repair" the installation, I get wizard dialog boxes that are partly in English but with what looks like Arabic text on the buttons.   The repair did nothing. An uninstall and a manual delete of all acrobat associated data in AppData and other places followed by a reinstall didn't fix this either. Alliance No. 2 is installed in Windows fonts and is fine in Office applications. Adobe Acrobat Pro desktop shows on the generate a presentation buttons UI limited options to upload files, excluding image formats. The windows should shows images, in addition to PDF, DOCX, PPTX, TXT, RTF, XLSX, VTT.Second generate a presentation button accept images files, not disclosed on the UI. FIX IT ASAP!

Hi there,I am trying to edit text and Arabic text comes up instead - no idea why?The Myriad Pro family is installed via Adobe fonts.PDF says its fonts are embedded.Tried reinstalling but same problem over and over again - vey frustrating as this has never happened before - same issue with every other PDF file.Would appreciate some tech-wiz know how if possible please?  

I’m having a problem when I try to create a pdf from Excel.I highlight the pages I want to include in the pdf.  If I choose Save as PDF it saves the entire file not just the pages I’ve selected.  Or if I do  Microsoft Print to PDF it will show all the pages in the preview but then it automatically first will do a pdf of the first page and then if you click through again it will save the other pages separately.

I redact a section of my document with Adobe Acrobat Pro but the 'apply redactions' button is opache and doesn't allow me to click on it. What am I doing wrong?

When this one user i have edits a pdf to change specific fields on a document it screws up all of the text boxes.Tested on a different profile on the same computer. Does the same in edge adobe app too.Opening on a different user’s computer and it looks fine.Like it isnt detecting the text boxes correctly on hers for some reason, but i cant seem to figure out what might be different between the two machines.. even though it should be identical. 

I have 2 users who have created fillable forms in Acrobat, and they are trying to set up eSignature and initials fields.  However, when trying to designate fillable fields for initials or signatures, Acrobat crashes without producing an error message.  I’ve seen other posts about this issue, but has it ever been definitively fixed? Troubleshooting:• Uninstalled, ran the Adobe cleanup tool, reinstalled• Disabled the Generative AI• Disabled Protected Mode• Deleted the signature files in C:\Users\*username*\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Acrobat\DC\Security• Signed out of Adobe account and signed back in System info:Win11 Enterprise 23H2Acrobat DC 26.001.21529Creative Cloud 6.9.1.1Adobe Genuine Service 9.1.0.52Adobe Refresh Manager 1.8.0

Ich habe neuerdings das Problem, dass PDF Files, die ich in PDF Spaces geladen habe, nicht mehr in PDF Spaces verfügbar sind. Die Fehlermeldung ist "Die Datei kann nicht verarbeitet werden" und "Der PDF Space kann nicht erstellt werden". Die PDF Dateien hatte ich vor längerer Zeit schon geladen und konnte mit den Dateien in den PDF Spaces arbeiten. Auch ein neues Hochladen der Dateien funktioniert zuerst, aber nach ein paar Minuten kommt auch die Fehlermeldung.

I tried changing the opacity for the fill but the opacity slider also affects the outline. I tried clicking on the selected color box but the check mark does not go away. I tried right clicking but there is no affect.

My acrobat has started to un-equip the highliting tool every time i use it. It does not do the same thing with the other tools, only with the highlighting tool. Every time i’ve marked something it goes back to the cursor. It didn’t do this until recently.Its driving me insane.If you have any suggestions please helpThank you

Adobe has their addins setup so that even when people disable them, after an update of either Outlook or Adobe they default back to automatically loading. How do we stop that?

The following sequence of actions happened, and I tried a few quick fixes along the way. I now believe the PDF has reached a corrupted state.  Initially, I filled out the PDF and applied a digital certificate signature before sharing it with the organization so they could complete the remaining sections. They filled their part and returned the document.  Later, I needed to replace my digital certificate signature with a drawn signature. To do that, I used a browser and managed to remove the digital signature and save the document. After reopening the PDF in Adobe Acrobat, I started noticing issues such as duplicated text appearing in multiple form fields. However, the document still appeared normal in the browser at that time. Since it looked correct there, I proceeded to replace the signature with a drawn signature and submitted the PDF. Now I need to make another update to the same PDF and resubmit it. Form fieldI need a javascript to populate the text of a checkbox onto another page. For example, there will be a ‘yes’ checkbox, ‘no’ checkbox and ‘dont know’ checkbox. When a user clicks on the checkbox, the answer (for eg. ‘Yes’) will be autopopulated onto another page in the same pdf.For example:___ ‘yes’     ___’No’   ___’don’t knowWhen ‘yes’ is checked, the word ‘yes’ will appear in another page text field. 

Summary:PDF has Accessibility tags, the content has a reading order in the Order pane, and the page content exists in the Content pane. Nothing that should be readable is artifacted. I want to activate Adobe Acrobat 2015 on a new computer, but can't deactivate it on the old computer because of a hardware defect.

It’s now 2026 and I can’t seem to find an easy way to save a PDF so it’s in preview/read only mode so when someone opens it all they see is the PDF, no menus, bars, tools, etc. How is this not an easy setting at this point? 

Using the Action Wizard, I am trying to setup an action that initiates a Preflight profile to flatten digital signatures in all PDF files located in a folder. The Preflight profile consists of a custom fixup that targets type:Signature form field and applies action:Flatten. The Preflight profile works as intended when run normally via the Preflight menu, however, it does not work when it is added to the Action Wizard. Specifically, I receive the error: "Preflight is unable to perform any fixups on this document as its author did not grant the necessary permissions." So, it seems that by running the Preflight profile normally it somehow bypasses the security settings to apply the fixup but this is skipped when running via Action Wizard. I have tried adding a "Save" action before the Preflight is run to no avail. Does anyone have suggestions on how to solve this issue?
