Solved

I find the Ui and program font in general to be a bit small for my taste. Couldn't find any solutions to that.I've tried: Preferences > Appearence    And couldn't find such optionSearch for plugins          Couldn't find anyFiddling with the console (CTRL + F12), and messing with the font. Didn't work I've also heard of Force Scaling via Manifest File. Any Ideas?

I’m experiencing pretty serious bugs with InDesign v19 on macOS. I've tried to troubleshoot for several hours with no luck. I would like to install InDesign 2023 or later, but it's not on the Creative Cloud. Does anyone know the best way to go about this? I tried to utilize the Adobe Support chat, but since it isn't business hours I can't get a response there right now.

Does Adobe Lightroom have an SDK or a set of APIs that will let me do something like this:// fetch a photo image file from local hard drive or network Image img_original = Image.FromFile("C:\Event123\original\DSC_1337.jpg"); // Use Lightroom's ToneControl.Auto on the ORIGINAL image to create a NEW image Image img_new = LightroomUtilities.ToneControl.Auto(img_original); // take that NEW image and perform Lightroom's WhiteBalance.Auto on it img_new = LightroomUtilities.WhiteBalance.Auto(img_new); // save the NEW image to a local folder img_new.Save("C:\Event123\corrected\DSC_1337.jpg"); I've researched Lightroom's APIs and Firefly APIs several times for the past several months.  And I do not thing this is possible. Here's the context... I photograph events where I may shoot 1000s (or tens of 1000s) of photos.  Then after the event, I load the photos into Lightroom and run Tone Control > Auto on all of them.  And often White Balance > Auto as well.&n

Hi all, I've scoured the internet for a solution to my problem with Contact Sheet II to no avail.Everytime I try to generate a Contact Sheet in Photoshop it comes out blank. Nothing shows up, no layers or text is created. I tried adjusting everything in the settings I could; changing the color profile to every different one, I tried CMYK. Checked and unchecked almost every setting I could. Nothing has changed. I even uninstalled and reinstalled Photoshop.  I'm on a Windows 10 computer with everything needed for Photoshop to run updated: version 22.4.3 Photoshop. Any help is appreciated. I use the Contact Sheet generator for work and would love to get this fixed ASAP. Thanks!

Hi there! I am a concept artist and game texture painter, and both me and my employer studio choose Photoshop for our content creation and have done so for years. Photoshop Filters are powerful and useful for many Photoshop users, but many of them are now looking dated, lacking in relevance and in flexibility. Substance Designer is showing Adobe users just how flexible and powerful procedural filters can be. Substance Designer can replicate the Filters that Photoshop offers, and go beyond that with a wide array of more sophisticated nodes and graphs. So I propose an overhaul of the existing Photoshop Filters, taking learnings from Substance Designer, hopefully integrating Substance technology and user interface to increase user cross-compatibility. Proposal below (Apologies for all the details):1. Use Designer's nodes to re-build the legacy set of Photoshop Filters, and provide them within Photoshop's UI. But expose more user control.2. Add some new, refreshing, use

Hi,Does anybody know if there is a custom filter setting to search for all images with a metadata error warning. My catalog seems determined to annoy me on multiple levels. The latest issue is it's decision to begin to create a warning on my images "There was an unknown error while writing metadata to this photo" Retry? This has happened before and I resolved it by selecting every image in my library and clicking the option to "retry metadata export", which seems to mysteriously solve the issue. This took a long time and I was very worried that some kind of keywording would be lost during the update.Keywording is my main way to locate images within the catalog.I don't understand the export option, why am I exporting my metadata, where am I exporting this metadata to?Anyway, I'd like to be able to use some kind of a searchable field or filter setting to select all the effected images, that way I can update all the latest images to suffer and move on.Until next time. Thanks

I need to use Gotham font type but it not listed as an option. How can I get this font?

I have found a bug in the opacity of clips. I have the same clip being stacked three layers deap, intent is to use a 9x16 in a 16x9 video frame.  I have the main video in Track V1, and in Track V2 I have a mirrored video, that I apply a blur and reduce the opacity to 20% to fill the rest of the screen. The source clip is a ProRes 422 HQ video, REC 709 The error is a lower than expected opacity on the video used on the right of this screen capture: The video on the right 1/2 of the screen happens to be in V2, but if I move it to V3 or V4 (and leave V2 black same condition exists). However if I move V1 track to the top of the stack, the opacity is correct for all layers. This is the settngs for the Opacity of the clips in question: If I try to crop out the main center video on the right hand part of the clip, expecting it to effect the clip below differently so the reduced opacity is not visable,  it crops the video as if there is no extra black footage

Hi everyone,I’m currently working on a project in Adobe Illustrator and could really use some help. I want to automate a repetitive workflow that involves:Copying the artwork (design) from a layer called “design.”Going through each path (or compound path) in a layer called “print media.”For each path:Pasting my design in place behind it.Creating a clipping mask (where the path is the mask and the design is the content).Making sure the finished mask stays in the exact same position as the original path.(Optionally) moving the final clipped artwork to another layer called “print ready.”I’ve tried several JavaScript/ExtendScript approaches, and I’ve learned the following:The path must be on top (in z-order) so Illustrator recognizes it as the mask, rather than the design. If the path is inside a group, sometimes Illustrator treats the whole group as part of the mask, which isn’t what I want. When there are multiple paths, I want to make sure each one becomes its own clipping group—no combin

Hey guys so i wanted to use the deep glow 2 effect, couldnt find it. I t was missing. So i downloaded it from aescripts, copied the plug in and pasted into after effects- support files - plug ins why is it not working? How else am I suppose to add plug ins?It was the free version because I am not willing to pay for something that I am suppose to have in after effects from the begining.  I had the german language version before but I deleted it and installed the english version. I dont know it that has anything to do with it.  I thank everyone for reading.

Recently updated to this version. If I highlight any text and go to the font dropdown palette, when I hit the slider to move down the font list, the palette closes and I can't select another font. If I don't select any text I can choose any font I want - but then I have to retype in order to use my new font. Not a prefs issue - I checked. Ugh - I have a long document ot edit and if I have to go through this for every font change, it's going to be a very long day....

My dear tiling and pattern geeks,   I recently read a paper by Miki Imura: "A new non-periodic tiling based on modulo arithmetic*, (arXiv:2506.07638) and fell in love with this tiling.   I couldn't help myself and I've written code to draw these directly in Illustrator. If you're interested, you can download from my github repo: Modulo Krinkle Tiling for Adobe Illustrator.   I'd love to see what you use it for. Feel free to post images here. - Mark

Hey! Started editing for someone and they've sent me their Favorites.xml file so I could use a specific preset they've made on the audio. However, when I copy-paste their file into my Audition's folder and replace with the old one, opening Audition will replace the .xml file immediately with the default Favorites.xml. I can't find anything about this problem on Google so I thought I'd ask for help here, I've tried with both Audition 2021 and 2022 with no luck (currently waiting for their response on which version they use so I can try on it too if it's different) and reinstalling the software didn't work either. In case it's necessary, here's my system info:- Ryzen 7 3700x- 16GB RAM DDR4 3200MHz- RTX 2080Ti- Windows 10 Pro 64-bit Any ideas on how to make this work?Thank you!

Hello. I just updated to Rh 2022.6.34. I am receiving this error message when I try to import a .docx file.Where can I find the application log? Importing worked 2 weeks ago an older version of Rh. I don't have the version documented though.

Hey folks, Novice to InDesign (using it on Mac), used it a few times but just for fun. Working on a long(ish) book, about 120 pages and wanted to ask what is the best way for me to set up new chapters? Should I be using page breaks? I think it is bad practice to use a load of returns to get to a new page right? Or am I supposed to be setting it up in Paragraph Styles for the last para of each chapter or something? Not sure what to do and am starting out in the book so just want to get things right in the early setup. I've set up para and charatcer styles for the main text so it seems ok there, just wondering about how to deal with new chapters. Should I be using the Book Panel? I understand that that would make each chapter a separate file or something? Appeciate any help. Thank you.
