Solved

Hello, I received an email from Ashit Kailash Gawai (Agawai@adobe.com) with the subject line: Attention! Adobe Scattered Licenses. The body says: Hi Team, I trust you are doing well, and I hope you remember me from my previous emails. I am Ashit Kailash, your Adobe POC . While I was doing a periodic sanity check of your account, I noticed a few users have separate individual accounts that are not part of your org-wide account with us. We as account managers do a periodic sanity check and inform you about these individual licenses and recommend that they should be merged into the team for better management of licenses and have a single bill for all licenses. Should I share the approval link to consolidate these licenses? Is this an authorized Adobe email? I'm assuming it's phishing

The script is designed to facilitate the process of inserting selected clips from an active sequence in Adobe Premiere Pro into a new sequence. Despite the intended functionality, I am experiencing an issue where clips are being duplicated in the new sequence. The insertion logic seems to be adding clips multiple times, which is not the desired behavior. I would like to understand why this duplication is occurring and how to resolve it. // Function to create the new sequence from the tabulated file function createSequenceFromFile(filePath, project, newSequence) { $.writeln("Reading file information: " + filePath); var file = new File(filePath); if (!file.exists) { $.writeln("File not found: " + filePath); return; } file.open("r"); var line; var newVideoTrack = newSequence.videoTracks[0]; var insertPosition = 0; // Ignore the header file.readln(); // Read each line of the file while (!file.eof) {

I saw some other posts similar to this but none of them had a consistent solution.  One of them had a response from an Adobe employee saying the only fix was to entirely re-install Windows on my machine, which seems like a pretty extreme "solution."  As per another post, I've updated my computer's security settings to allow Premier through Controlled folder access but that didn't work.  Are there any other known solutions to this problem?  Or do I really need to re-install windows? Related posts:https://community.adobe.com/t5/premiere-pro/adobe-premiere-after-update-quot-the-application-was-unable-to-start-correctly-0xc0000142/m-p/10949848#M254848https://community.adobe.com/t5/adobe-media-encoder/0xc0000142-error-on-adobe-media-encoder/m-p/10066152 Thanks for the help.

My Photoshop CC does not have Appearance panel. Window menu also does not have Appearance menu item to open it. Shift + F6 also doesn't work. Is it broken? or the feature totally removed from Photoshop?     [ "2018" added to subject line by moderator, as this post from May 2018 is now drawing replies four years later ]

I was editing a picture in Photoshop, and it was going completely normally. Then I went to Quick Export as PNG, and when I pressed it, it said, "Can no longer use GPU, so will use CPU to export. You can re-enable GPU acceleration in Preferences." So i pressed ok then, I went to Preferences, and Use GPU is still checked, so I unchecked it and re-checked it, and then I pressed OK. And then Photoshop gave me an error saying, We're unable to complete this action due to an error, and it didn't say what the error was or anything. And then I checked my desktop where I was exporting it to, and it just exported the base image, like, the background image that I started with, with none of the edits to it or anything. And it didn't even have the name I gave it when I pressed Export, it just had the normal name it started with. And the preview in Photoshop just randomly went black after closing preferences, and then I tried to save the project so I don't lose it and when I pressed Save, it says, We

Hi! I need the highlighted green text field to match just the item name that appears when I pick it from the list. I have: var Addresses =this.getField("Stores").value;event.value=Addresses; in another text field, but I do not want those outputs on that green line. Just the list's item name. Don't know if this will affect anything 🙂

Is there a specific reason for the decline in sales at the present time?I have( 50,000)fifty thousand photos yet my sales aren't that high $27 this week alone

I'm having this irritating problem where everytime I select a different layer or group, the Quick Mask channel is automatically selected. This forces me to switch to the Channels tab and select the RGB channel before I can perform work on a layer. Why is Photoshop automatically selecting the Quick Mask layer when switching between layers? I can't seem to find a setting for this and I'm not sure why, all of the sudden, it started doing this. Does anyone know how to stop this madness? Thanks!

Hi,  I'm using Lightroom Classic 14.4 on a Macbook Pro. I deleted by mistake a subfolder with lots of image settings. I still have the original files, but it took me a very long time to edit all the images. How can I restore the deleted folder with the image settings in LR? I went through several threads here and they all talk about finding the backup folder and taking it from there, but there is not such folder in my laptop, see below. Thanks for any help!

I’m using a MacBook Pro 2024 with an M3 Pro chip. In Photoshop 2025, Camera Raw 17.4.1 does not detect the GPU — the “Use Graphics Processor” option is greyed out. I tried Rosetta mode, resetting preferences, Terminal override, and reinstalling — nothing works. My laptop and applications are up to date. Please add M3 GPU support. I edit in Camera Raw from Adobe Bridge for simple edits, but I keep getting the same notices, reading: "Camera Raw graphics acceleration is not supported by your system" or "Camera Raw requires GPU acceleration to edit photos." What could this mean? My system is pretty advanced, is that the problem? What else can I do?

Does anyone know if Adobe has a best practice for duplicating a production for template purposes? We are editing long-form features and have a production setup that we like. We'd like to have that setup with empty projects in a production that we can duplicate for every film.   It seems if I just simply copy and paste a production in finder it could create duplicate IDs. This shouldn't be a problem since it will be completely separate from the old production but I want to be sure. What I have done so far is to duplicate the production folder in Finder, then go to "open production" in Premiere, open the folder and it asks me if I want to convert the folder system into a production. I assume this assigns new IDs and everything is set up right...but I'm a bit paranoid about these things lol   There aren't any obvious problems stemming from this method but we have been having odd production-related issues that are just too numerous and complicated to post here now lol.

Hi there can anyone help! Does anyone know how to do the circle transition at the start of the video!?https://www.instagram.com/reel/Cv-J8CfxemW/?igsh=MWQ1b3czbXUzazJtOA==thank you!

I just don't understand it.  We pay a ton of money EVERY month to have the Adobe Creative Cloud but we have to pay extra for Adobe Stock.  This just doesn't make sense to me at all. Randy

When working in Adobe After Effects, I encounter a problem: when opening a project on another computer, links to media files and fonts disappear. What are some reliable ways to pack a project so that everything opens correctly, including plugins and external resources?

This occurs regardless of the number of photos imported (e.g., 100, 500, or 1000) or the clarity of the images. All faces are correctly detected as face regions during import, but only ~100 receive the correct names, even for individuals who are already tagged and recognized in other photos within the catalog.I have Automatically Detect Faces In All Photos enabled in Catalog Settings > Metadata. However, no matter how long I wait after import (hours or even days), the remaining faces with question marks

Hi! I posted some threads on here a few months back asking for help and got some great support - thanks again! At the time I had achieved what i wanted to, and i havent used the Adobe Premiere Elements 2024 software since. Now, i've come to use it again and i'm facing some issues.... maybe i'm doing something wrong... and would apreciate some help. I have a 'project' that i created months ago.  I'm finding it easy to edit the segments of video in the project. However, i want to add other videos into the project and this is where i'm struggling. I am going to 'Add media'>'Elements Organizer'... then i have some videos in there that i added months back...So, i select the fil and click 'Add file'... and it adds it... great!However... i cant then open that video to edit... and it shows differently to the other video segments already in the project... in that it is greyed out.... Any advice appeciated! Thanks

Attempting to open my catalog, I get no further than :" Lightroom-Opening Catalog_ND_24_1.zip "which appears centre near top of screen. The same thing happens and exactly the same line appears when I click on any earlier back-up file.I have restarted computer many times now and have uninstalled Adobe Creative Suite and reinstalled it with no change !I recently had an issue with an AMD driver which has been updated to solve computer crashing issue (Windows 10 ). LR Classic intitially opened OK after that update but now will not open at all.Any ideas appreciated.

I subscribed to the 7 day free trial, but somehow I got charged 16.99€ and subscribed to the monthly premium instead. I canceled in less than an hour's time, for I did not intend to pay nor subscribe to such service. I would greatly appreciated if I could get a full refund. Many thanks
