Solved

Hi, I'm trying to install new fonts into InDesign. It used to be an extremely simple operation, but now I can't find any button to download. Typekit or Adobe Fonts or whatever its is now only gives me an option to save fonts into libraries. The library I created for this does not show anywhere. I have managed to go into the CC desktop app to install a few of the previously saved ones but many others are nowhere to be found. I'd appreciate some help with this issue which is so frustrating given that it has certainly degraded the user experience.

Description: I have a substantial 31,000-photo collection in Adobe Lightroom Classic 14.4, running on an Apple MacMini M4 Pro with 48GB of RAM. My photos are stored on an external 10TB RAID 01 and the Lightroom Classic Catalog is stored on a Samsung SSD 970 EVO Plus 2TB. I’m interested in culling this collection using my iPhone and a Chrome tablet, but I’m unsure about the best approach.Culling a collection on mobile devices is valuable to me because it frees me and allow me to work away from my mac mini. My understanding is that I need to upload all the photos to Creative Cloud to accomplish this. However, I believe this is overkill since I only require a lightweight preview for culling, not the full-resolution photos. Is there a way to transfer previews to the cloud so that I can cull using various devices and then sync the metadata back to the Adobe Lightroom Classic catalog running on my MacMini? Alternatively, could I create a Lightroom Classic catalog of compressed previews

Please help! When trying to save a PDF file to Adobe; I keep getting this error message: "The document could not be saved. There was a problem reading the document. (21) After I close the box, a separate box pops up stating: "Insufficient data for an image." I've tried to update Adobe and also tried the fix, I currently have Adobe Reader 11.0.10. Afterwards the image is distorted and missing things. Please help me!!

I have a Windows 11 and a Wacom Cintiq drawing pad. I mainly use Adobe Animate. For some reason, whenever I move my cursor into the drawing area and the timeline, my mouse gets extremely large. This is also the case when I'm using things like the brush tool, which gets annoying since the size of my cursor doesn't match the size of what I am trying to draw. I had previously used a Macbook with the same Cintiq drawing pad and it didn't have this issue.Does anyone know how to fix this?

Hi all,I’m working on a project where a 3D animated book (opening slightly, with a light camera move) is rendered in Blender and imported into After Effects as a .mov file.I’ve used AE’s 3D Camera Tracker to create a null that follows the book cover quite well. I then parent a precomp text layer to that null. However, once the book begins to open, the text drifts or detaches slightly from the cover.I’ve tried:Parenting a precomp to the nullUsing Mocha AE for trackingCorner pin + Mesh WarpBut I haven’t found a stable solution. I want the text to appear as if it’s printed on the cover – moving along with the perspective of the book throughout the animation.Important constraints:The solution must stay within After Effects. No external plugins (like Mocha Pro).Text should remain editable in the comp.Question:What’s the most reliable method to attach editable text to a moving book cover, based on a tracked null, without using plugins? Thanks in advance for your input.

After updating to Lightroom Classic 14.4, I opened my working catalog and discovered that edits to many JPEG files had disappeared. Here's what I experienced: The History panel still shows all my previous adjustments But the Develop sliders are all reset, and the image preview is unedited This only affected JPEGs, not RAW files My catalog had been functioning perfectly before the update I confirmed this is a 14.4 issue by: Opening a backup catalog in 14.3.1 — all edits displayed correctly Returning to the most recent catalog (used in 14.4), the edits were still invisible Even importing metadata into the edited files didn’t fully restore them in the 14.4 catalog This is extremely disruptive. I'm a professional photographer, and this issue caused me to: Waste hours trying to recover edits Lose recent work from the broken catalog Downgrade my software just to get things working again, and lost edits between my last backup and the broken catalog System Info: Lig

Hello! I wanted to see if anyone knew how to create knockout text or the cutout text effect in Illustrator when using an image. I've attached the image and text I'm trying to cut-out with a black fill. I'm able to use the Minus Front command in Pathfinder when I'm using a shape, but when I try with an image, it never works.  I was able to kind-of acheive the goal when I used a mask in the Transparency panel (I unclicked clip and invert mask), and the text was cut-out. But when I went to add a drop-shadow to make it look better, the drop shadow only went arround the image, not into the cutout, as shown in the other attached image. I usually have a lot of trouble making Minus Front work; most of the time it's because the layers are arranged wrong. But, in this case, I have converted the text to outlines, created a compound path, made sure the text is at the front and the image is at the back but the Minus Front command still won't work. The drop shadow effect is

Hi,I created a second user on my computer for my son, he is only 14 years old and loves and is learning Adobe applications. In the second user session on the computer, the programmes asked me to log in again. But I was afraid that my account would be suspended as a result of the same Adobe autorun being opened in several different places. Does anyone know anything about this? Can the same Adobe account programmes be used in two different sessions on the same computer? After all, it would not be possible to have two sides open at the same time.

At some point recently a big blue button suggesting I try Acrobat Pro DC has appeared on the tab bar, it's so large it blocks view of the tabs when viewing a pdf alongside another window (approx 95% of my use of acrobat reader). See image below. How does one remove this? It's making the program difficult to use.

Hello, I have been working on a series of character animations for the past week. Today I opened Character Animator and my character has been transformed into what appear to be the color bars that once showed up at the end of a VHS tape. What do I do?

Hi, Lightroom is deleting my 1:1 previews after a few days even though I have preferences set to keep them for 30 days.  Any ideas or fixes?  Maybe a cache limit? ThanksJohn

I need to redraw a number of celtic knot inspired designs such as the one I have atatched below. None of the designs align perfectly, you will notice that if you follow a particular angle in the design that it doesn't carry through correctly as in it's thicker on one side than it is on the other etc etc. What would be the best and easiest way of doing this? I tried with the new curvature pen but probably not doing it right. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks

First Lr did crash each time when opening. After resetting the preferences to default, I can start Lr and when it opens with Photo grid it does not crash. Changing from Photo grid to Detail (D) will crash Lr. I did switch of the GPU, but that did not make a difference. I use a Dell Windows 11 computer. Till yesterday Lr did work fine.

The menu bar and top portion of the tool bar will not display on Acrobat DC. When I try to click in that area it activates whatever application is running behind the Acrobat window. The only way to close Acrobat is to close the window via the Windows taskbar at the bottom of the screen. The partial icons that are visible will function but I can't access any tools or menu items above that point. I have tried to uninstall then reinstall the program and that did not help. I have also run a repair on the program which did not work either. This version is installed from Creative Cloud.  help please.

Using LR Classic 14.4 on Windows 10 I can no longer select images with specific ratings Eg 3 star although if I use Filter rated it will select all rated images.

I dropped some custom LUTs into ~Library/Application Support/Adobe/Common/LUTs Creative and Technical folders and now they've vanished from that folder, yet still show in Premiere? If I search my Mac for .cube files, nothing shows up anywhere. I tried this on two machines, MacBook Pro M1 as well as MacBook Pro M4 on macOS Sequoia 15.5.According to the FCP XML output, the LUTs being referenced are still in that folder. But when I go there, there's nothing. I tried enabling hidden files but no different. If I run a deep search in Terminal, it shows them as being there too.... but opening the folder they're not visible.Baffled. Any ideas?

Hello,Has After Effects dropped support for PNG files in version 25.3.1? I opened a project I had been working on in the previous version, and all of the PNGs are showing as offline. When I attempt to relink them, I get an error stating that PNG is not a supported file type. These files were created in Photoshop, and I've never had issues with using PNGs—especially for 3D assets and transparency. To troubleshoot, I created a brand-new project, but PNG still isn’t even an import option.I’ve already reinstalled AE, but the issue persists. Is this a known bug or a deliberate change? Dropping PNG support seems unbelievable—can someone clarify what’s going on?Thanks,-Chad Screenshot attached. System: Apple StudioChip: Apple M3 UltraRAM: 256gOS: 15.5 (24F74)

Hey, I need to work with Adobe Reader to fill some documents on my macbook. Now the page on safari doesn't open. I recieve the message The document you are trying to load requires Adobe Reader 8 or higher. You may not have the Adobe Reader installed or your viewing environment may not be properly configured to use Adobe Reader. I have the newest version from adobe reader, but it doesn't work. Can some help me?

Hi, For a while when i open the illustrator it gives this blank screen. Deleting and reinstalling didn't work at all.

Please make the Prefix text box on the Export for Screens window wider. When working with strict naming conventions longer prefixes are often needed. This box is very narrow, and would benefit greatly from being wider. It is part of a fixed-width panel with nothing else on the same row, so the space to the right where it could be expanded is being used for nothing else. Please widen the box to the panel width as it would be a good quality of life improvement that would not impact any other functionality. Thanks.

I just upgraded my camera firmware to version 5.01 (body ILCE-7M4 Sony a7iv). That may have been a mistake! I can no longer import RAW files into Photoshop Elements 2022. The Help->Updates menu is greyed-out in PS Elements (Showing that there are not available updates). I have tried loading the Camera RAW drivers as per https://community.adobe.com/t5/photoshop-elements-discussions/manually-install-adobe-camera-raw-acr-nicer-to-look-at/td-p/14539971 . I have followed the instructions and replaced the .8bi file with the 14.5 version and the problem will not go away. It seems that Camera raw 17.4 will not work with Photoshop Elements 2022 Everything worked fine until this "upgrade". I can still load RAW files taken before the upgrade but I can no longer load RAW files of photos taken after the upgrade.  Is there a .8bi file that can be used with Photoshop Elements and that supports the latest Sony firmware update?

Hello! I have a question: how can I improve the image quality of the scene and puppet in Adobe Character Animator? When I zoom in using the camera during the animation, the video starts to show pixels and the quality noticeably drops. This really affects the final result and is a bit frustrating. Is there a way to avoid this?Should I use vector graphics, increase the scene resolution, or are there other recommended methods? Thanks in advance for your help!

Sometimes (perhaps most of the time, but it's hard to tell) after modifying brush settings, when I click on a different brush, some or all of the brush settings won't change to what should be preset in the brush I just selected; the settings will stay how I had just tweaked them (which I thought would be temporary). Which settings "stick" seems random, but I assume it's not. It has happened with brushes from multiple sources: my own that I tried to carefully craft with settings I want and saved as new brushes, the PS default ones like Hard Round, Adobe's "Kyle" sets, and Aaron Blaise sets I bought. Imagine, for example (what just happened to me to cause me to finally reach out to you guys), after working on fur with a texture brush and some adjusted settings for the current need, you notice a solid color spot you missed earlier, so you switch to the basic Hard Round, pick the color, touch pen to tablet, and see a comical sight: Hard Round drawing with size, scattering, and color jitter
