Solved

Hello everyone, I have a problem. I need to use a plugin, but it currently only exists in version 23.4.However, in Creative Cloud I can't download a version lower than 2024.

How to set up InDesign Print File for Horizontal document that binds at the top?  (think of a small Calendar!)  It is currently set up with out Facing Pages - 20 pages total.  Finished size is 8.5 long by 5.5 tall with TOP BINDING.  Full print press, not digital.  Thank you.

Hi, Is there any way I can find a layer from layer panel by its name or any keyword I used for the layer title? A lot of time is wasted just because I have to scroll through 50/60 layers to find the desired one.  Coloring layer is helpful but I need to track a layer by keyword or a word . Any way? I alwys drag layers accidentally when animating ,  so I keep locking layer/s not to move them, Thts why clicking on shape and track it on layer panel is not possible often. Finding a layer by a keyword or name will be helpful.  Thank you.

I have about 20 different Framemaker books I manage. One of them is defaulting to 2 copies in the print dialog, the rest are set at 1. For this particular book, it creates 2 sets of every chapter (i.e., 2 covers, 2 preface, 2 introduction, and so on). In other words, in just this document - Copies defaults to 2. In all my other books, default is 1. I've also checked my printer dialog and it's default is 1.I create .ps files, then use Adobe distiller to create .pdfs.

Greetings.  I have an Adobe cloud subscription and understand when I download acrobat, it should install the version called for. I am thinking I should have the full version that used to have other names. When I double click on a pdf in file manager which has an acrobat icon so is the default,, it opens but the interface is different and it starts doing an AI analysis of the document. Sometimes could be helpful but by default, I just want it to open so I can print immediately. Or another one to ask, get the toolbar and full interface back. Is there a setting that allows this to happen?  Thanks,BJBBJB1

When I'm a busy bee working and need photoshop, I click the photoshop icon on the task bar to launch photoshop. Now as we all know, photoshop does not start fast. I usually just start it and continue working on other windows until it's started up.The problem is, that in the new photoshop, the app captures the window focus (sorry don't know the right term) five times in the start up phase, even if you try to switch back to other applications, the photoshop really want's you to look at it even when it's not ready to be used.I know this sounds silly, but every second counts and usually you are in a middle of a good workflow and that annoys me every single time.Running latest photoshop on Windows 10 Pro.

I'm creating smart collection with a list of files: local function stringifyPhotoList( photoList ) return table.concat(photoList, ", ") end [...] local searchDesc = { criteria = "filename", operation = "any", value = stringifyPhotoList(photos), } catalog:createSmartCollection(subColName, searchDesc, newParentColSet) filenames are separated with commas. Everything works fine - I have smart collection with selected photos. Expect one case - when filenames contain spaces - then it starts matching a lot more photos than it should. I don't know how can I handle such case. I tried enclosing filenames in parentheses or apostrophies - it does not help.

When I first launch Photoshop CC 2017 it reaches a point where it steals the focus on Windows 10 and puts Photoshop as the active application. While this is a bit annoying it's not unusual for apps to do this when they're first launched. However, when I go back to the app I was on, Photoshop will steal focus at least 3-5 more times. Even minimizing Photoshop after the first instance doesn't do anything because it goes back to fullscreen and puts its self as the currently active app each time.Is there anything that can be done to stop this behavior or at least force Photoshop to only grab focus when it's fully loaded and ready to go?

I've opened several files that have the same font, a font I got from Adobe that I've used for years, and suddenly the text is highlighted to indicate that the font is no longer recognized. I've restarted all programs, signed in and out of Adobe, and my account shows that the font is installed. My only option is to "remove" it. But it's not showing up in my list of fonts at all. The font in question is Eds Market Script Regular. Other Eds Market fonts are showing up, but not that one. The client wants this font specifically, and it's been on my ads for years, so why did it suddenly stop working? It's not a third party font, either - as I said, it's Adobe. I have the entire Eds Market family installed and this one isn't showing up. In fact, I think there are several others not showing up as well, but this is the one I need.I'm looking in my Creative CLoud app, and as you can see, only a small portion of the fonts are showing up in that. It goes from Eds Market to Expressway. What is goin

I need to digitally sign around 4,000 documents — approximately 90% are engineering drawings and 10% are technical reports. Given the high volume, I’m looking for a way to automate the signing process. What tools or workflows would you recommend?

I created 3 nearly identical bar charts using no linked/embeded/external art. Everything is just text labels and rectangular objects. Two of the charts are under 500kb but, one chart is 18mb, and I don't understand why. I had intended to email the AI files to the client so they could update statistics in the future. But, this one file is really large to email, and doesn't match the others in size. All files are 8.5x11, RGB color space. Each file has about 20 layers, sharing a common naming scheme between them.No Groups or sub-layers.Show All is grayed-out.The Links panel is empty.I have checked each layer and there is nothing other than the text label and rectangular object.Saving As or Save A Copy results in the same file size.Saving with/without PDF compatible makes no difference. If I copy the contents to a new blank document, then the file size is normal. But, I loose all my layer organization in the process. It's a pain to recreate the layer names and organizat

I have an issue with a shape, it's not got rounded corners, but displays the stroke as if it does, if I turn them up they round as expected, then drop back down as I slide the handle at the corner and as it notes it gets to zero they snap and display as rounded again. I've screen recoded the issue, but I'd seemingly have to host it somewhere to show here. I've uploaded a screen cap, you can see it is 0px above. Thanks in advance!

I have about 50 files with quarter-inch bleeds that I need to export as .pngs, but without the bleeds. I can't seem to find a setting that will allow me to do this. Am I missing something, or is this option just not available?

Boa tarde! Abs e obrigado!

I have no need for Creative cloud. It is a pain. How can I keep it closed. To me it is an intrusion. Thanks

Hi everyone, I signed up for an Adobe free trial and forgot to cancel my subscription before the trial ended. As soon as I realized, I immediately canceled it, and I was informed that I was eligible for a refund since I was within the 14-day refund period. They mentioned I would receive my refund within 5-7 business days, but it has now been 8 days, and I haven’t received my money back yet. As a student, I really need this refund, and I’m hoping someone can assist me with this. Has anyone experienced something similar, and how long did it take for you to receive your refund? Any advice on what I should do next? Thanks for your help!

I'm on an Apple Silicon Macbook Pro running Sequoia 15.5.In my system menubar (top of screen) the icon for Creative Cloud shows a blue dot, which has always indicated an update is available. I open CC and a blue notice pops up at the bottom of its window indicating "a new version of Creative Cloud is available -- update".  I click on update and wait about 60 seconds until the Creative Cloud Core Services popup appears asking me for my password. I enter my password and then the blue notice to update again appears in the CC window. I again click update and the whole process just repeats, and repeats, and repeats, and repeats, never updating the app. What is going on and how to fix?

Computer: macOS Catalina v. 10.15.7iMac 2013 I am using InDesign 2022 on a Mac. For the past month or two, the text wrap panel has not been working. The panel is just gray, does not show any options. If I completely uninstall and reinstall InDesign it will fix the problem for about the first timre I open it, and then it's gone again. Is this because my computer is too old?   I don't have the same problem on my MacBook Air, which is running OS Monterey v.12.4.

Just with easy actions like moving an object canvas turns white and "can't preview it" error, therefore I have to quit and start again... so annoying. I guess it's due to new update and also unistalled and instaled is done yet.

I was working on my Adobe and I pressed something like control + x or maybe a or maybe y and suddenly a small blue lines have appeared as a grid over my text. I turned off Adobe and turned it on again opening a new PDF file and the small blue line grid remains in other Adobe PDFs. What should I do? (Note I am using a MacBook Pro)
