Solved

Can anybody tell me if and where I can find my recently lost files that have been lost to the update? I seem to have lost those but now gained back files lost 3 years ago from Spark - madness! Thank you 🙂

I pay an Adobe subscription and have only been able to use my after effects ONCE, I'm so upset. Whenever I open my ae and create a composition there is a black screen and I can't see anything, even if I import footage, NOTHING WORKS, I've uninstalled and installed, older and newer versions, my computer is brand new and great specs (HP Omen 17) and I used to use ae everyday on my old computer with way worse specs and this never happened. I've followed more than 5 youtube videos on different things to do and absolutely nothing has worked please help.

When I open some files in Indesign, I get the warning message ‘One or more hyphenation exceptions in “filename” conflict with the settings in the user dictionary file(s). Use the settings in the user dictionary?’ The question is: how can I find out what exactly these conflicts are?

I use the highlighter within a play or movie script to make comments to myself and use different highlights colors to color code the comments (ex. purple = scene #, blue = thematic line of dialogue, etc.). I know there's a way to filter the comments by highlight color so I can just see comments of a certain color (ex. purple = scene numbers), but I can't remember how. Can someone help me with this?

My checkbox name is "Check Box1" is it possible to toggle its state with a button click?

Hello, How can I convert the original .PMD file (written using the Adobe Pagemaker 7.0) in to the .EPUB file without having any formating issue? Is it possible to convert this file into the Word (.doc/.docx) format? I have the Adobe Creative Cloud Desktop app installed on my pc.  I found the following post, but it doesn't help much. Open PageMaker files in Adobe InDesign Thanks for your help.

For approximately the past two months, Acrobat DC reports "not responding" for about 20 to 30 seconds when I open it. This happens again when I open any PDF document (even one with just a single page). It happens again when I select any of the tools (Edit, Combine, Organize, etc). It also happens when I try to drag or rezize the application window. Machine Resources:Processor 11th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i9-11950H @ 2.60GHz 2.61 GHzInstalled RAM 32.0 GB (31.7 GB usable)System type 64-bit operating system, x64-based processorEdition Windows 11 ProVersion 21H2OS build 22000.739Experience Windows Feature Experience Pack 1000.22000.739.0 The post acrobat-dc-extreme-slow-on-windows-10/m-p/12118085 points to how-to-reset-acrobat-preference-settings-to-default/td-p/4792082 with instructions to clear %appdata%\Adobe\Acrobat\[version], so I presume this would be C:\Users\willi\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Acrobat\DC\ on my computer. I renamed the directory and restarted Acrobat.

Dimensions sounds like a really useful program and certainly for putting artwork on one side of things it creates some stunning CGIs.However, when you get to a second side things get a bit worthless. So far I've not been able to add a second side to my CGIs of boxes. Is it possible to import your artwork to fully cover the box CGI? Or is this something that as of yet Dimension cannot do? If it's not possible, has anyone found a work around? Thanks for any help you can provide.

Hello,I had two questions about the User Management interface in the Admin console.1. Is there anyway to see the user's last login time?2. Is there anyway to filter by the product the user has access to (i.e. show only users who have access to Target)? Thanks.

I have three text boxes named Text1, Text2 and Text3.  I have another three text boxes named TextA, TextB and TextC.  If text is typed into TextA, I want Text1 to be visible and Text2 and Text3 to be hidden.  If text is typed into TextB, I want Text2 to be visible and Text1 and Text3 to be hidden.  If text is typed into TextC, I want Text3 to be visible and Text1 and Text2 to be hidden.I've tried using the following script, which works for four text boxes (Text1, Text2, Text A, TextB), but I can't modify to work when I add Text3 and TextC: if (event.target.value == "") {this.getField("Text2").display = display.hidden;}else {this.getField("Text2").display = display.noPrint;}if (event.target.value == "") {this.getField("Text1").display = display.noPrint;}else {this.getField("Text1").display = display.hidden;}

I often receive PDF files that I want to rename once I have looked at the content more closely. How do I just rename an open file in Acrobat (rather than Save As, or closing the file and going into the OS file manager to do it?)

Hi,I've been having difficulty on new Mac using 'Save for Web' to save files, experiencing a Write permissions error. In InDesign, I'm trying to wrap text around the right side of a circle. Simple, right?See image. Note how on the bottom half of the circle, the lines of text aren't meeting the text wrap boundary like they are on the top half. See the last five lines of text. The effect is that the space between the circle and the text doesn't look even all the way down. I've messed with many different settings and can't figure it out. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi everyone,I’m hoping to get some help or feedback from the community. I’ve recently uploaded several PNG images to Adobe Stock, but they were rejected for “quality issues.” I’m a bit confused because I believed the images met the standards.I’ve attached a few examples here so you can get a better idea of what I submitted. If anyone has experience with this or can help point out what might be wrong - whether it's technical, design-related, or formatting - I’d really appreciate it!Thanks in advance for your time and advice!

There are a lot of GPS tracking apps for the iPhone, and I'd like to get input on which one(s) to use from people who have used them to geotag in Lightroom 4.I've read reviews on some that output a GPX log that they don't include time stamps. Others track, but aren't clear if they output a GPX log. Also, I'd like to know for the ones that do output a GPX log, what method do you use to get it on the computer?Lastly, for those using Android, is My Tracks a viable solution?

Yesterday, I updated 2 iMacs to Sequoia v15.3.2. Today, I downloaded a bank statement PDF and the text was not displaying. Past PDFs from this same bank have the same issue. PDFs from other sources, past and present, seem to be fine. Trying to narrow down the problem, I compared the 2 iMacs. On iMac #1, the bank's PDFs are unreadable. On iMac #2, the PDFs are readable. I followed multiple suggestions to fix the problem, to no avail. Reset Fonts in Font Book (several times, with a restart after each reset)Validated all fontsEliminated any personal fontsUninstalled and reinstalled Adobe Acrobat ProCleaned up cacheRan a maintenance programRan various Acrobat utilities to embed the fonts. The only success was to convert the fonts to outline. The Document Properties show Arial (embedded Subset) and a strange series of fonts named "T3Font_58, T3Font_59", etc. I was able to edit the PDF and change all of the fonts to Arial. But what a pain in the neck!

I'm fairly new to AI, and looking to take existing basic product images (shirts, jackets, pants, etc.) and use AI to generate those items on models.  Is that possible with Firefly?  I've seen other platforms which can do this, but would like to just keep it all within my Adobe suite if possible.  Thank you!

Hello everyone,I'm having a problem with Adobe Portfolio. I can't save my photos anymore. I import them, save them, and when I want to see the results, they disappear. Can someone help me ? Thanks !

Would be really nice to have an AI click to automatically remove the glare in eyeglasses. At the moment I moved all my edits to a different tool, a one click thing compared with everything you need to do in Lightroom. Or Photoshop.

Hey everyone, I am trying to cut/divide a freeform gradient square into evenly spaced stripes. I used before Object/Path/Split into grid method and it was working perfectly with linear gradient but not with freeform or images. I am stuck.. can someone help me please? Below I attached an image to show what I am trying to do (one on the left side is divided into stripes so I can flip them etc like on the right side)

I am writing on behalf of a doctors office. We use adobe Acrobat Pro DC.  We have many forms which our clientel need to sign at different dates however, the documents become locked after signing them once. Is there a way to disable this feature in settings? If not, is there a previous version of Adobe Acrobat Pro that we could revert to that does not cause the document to have editing limitations? We are not worried about having a fancy digital signature authentication. We just want to lay down a digital signature. We considered chopping up the forms by removing pages and signing them separately, however we decided that this would significantly slow down our workflow. We have spent a very good chunk of money setting up a custom signing terminal and it will have been a useless purchase if we cannot edit documents after signing them. Help is greatly appreciated. Below I have linked a couple of our most commonly used forms, in case it is relevant to solving our problem:
