I have three layers and want to blend the top one using Overlay, but it's greyed out along with others.  I use this all the time what has happened? See screen print below:

I am newer to expressions, and having a difficult time getting one shape layer to left align to another.  I found this tutorial that how to have shapes automatically change based on the text typed over them.  In my project, I will have two shapes stacked on top of each other, each with their own text inside them. Due to the text, each shape will be a different width from the other.  I would like to get the two shape layers to automatically left align with each other (or the shape on top to align with the shape on the bottom - whatever is easier) no matter how wide the text is. Does anyone happen to know how to do that?

Hello,My video source is MP4, and I would like to keep MP4 for the export. But my goal is to have lossless quality for the export in MP4.I don't want to use other format (like ProRes or DNX...). Is it a simple way to be lossless in that case (without going into settings) ?

Yeah, I have a sub, way more ram than needed, and that little piece of junk can't ever work, been years, been many computers, never got it to work, it's to the point that I put an image on an empty timeline, and that junk complains he can't get his 20 gigs to display that image, I have 64 gigs of ram, and 12/16/24 gigs of vram (none of my computers can take after effects). So if anyone has a good way to find an older version of after effects, please, I BEG YOU, I need it

I'm using Lightroom Classic version 14.3.1. I'm on Windows 10, 64 bit. Whenever I import photos from my harddrive to Lightroom, they're significantly more pixelated and noisy than when I view them through the default Photos app on Windows. Lightroom still recognizes the correct dimensions for the photos, but whenever I export them the dimensions drop to 1365 x 2048. My .cr2 files are all between 20 to 25 megabytes but the exported ones are 3 or less. Even with photos I've already edited and exported at normal resolution, if I import those same files again the resolution drops when they're imported now. Anyone know how to fix this?

Is there a way I have missed for Firefly to take two of my images and swap the face in one for the face in the other? Also, can I create a character (say, for a comic) and have firefly "learn" her so I can use her in my prompts? If it could do those two things.... it would be so perfectly awesome and I could drop all my other subscriptions.

My school computer uses premiere pro cc 2014, and I'm trying to figure out how to download that version onto my home computer so I can work on it outside of school. However, I only figured out how to download the latest version of premiere pro. How can I download the 2014 version on my home computer and allow my files to work on both computers?

I own a cd of Photoshop Elements 24 But I downloaded from the Web.  I have installed it on a Surface Laptop.  Once installed it  takes five minutes at least to open up the editor.  On my previous computer it opened up in seconds.  What is the problem?   What do I do?

Is it possible to export an XML from After Effects? The rights team where I work needs these for asset reporting. A list of the assets isn't good enough since they need the data for how long each asset is used and in what order. If exporting an XML from AE isn't possible is there anything equivalent to it that I could use to get the rights team what they need? Thanks!

HI, I'm interested in using the puppet tool in a video, with moving objects.The object moves (the cat), therefore I commanded the puppet tool pins (which are linked to null objects) to tracking the cat's mouth.The problem is that as soon as the camera moves a little, the whole mouth goes wrong.The question is simple - how can I use the puppet tool in a moving object in a video without it ruining the effect? Thanks in advance

I see so many discussions and feature suggestions for changing the default sort order in LrC going back many years.Lightroom appears to default to capture time.  With our workflow we need to sort by filename.  It's one more step in our process that should be as simple as being able to specify our preference in Lightroom.Am I missing something or does Lightroom really not support sort defaults?

I have an array of allPathItems (this is an array of pathItems and compoundPathItems) and I want to export each of the allPathItems as a *.svgI get the right number of SVG files, with the correct names and in the correct place, but each SVG is of the whole document.How do I get one SVG for each allPathItems?So allPathItems[0] is a SVG of that path item and only that item.allPathItems[1] is a SVG of allPathItems[1] and only that item.And so on until allPathItems.lengthvar doc = app.activeDocument; ... for (var j = 0; j < allPathItems.length; j++) { var filename = allPathItems[j].name; var svgFile = new File(doc.path + "/" + filename + '.svg'); doc.exportFile(svgFile, ExportType.SVG, exportOptions, allPathItems[j]); }

Hi,Hope you're well. I'm having issues trying to reinstall my copy of Photoshop Elements that I purchased a few years back. I've just done a harddrive cleanup and full Windows reinstall, and I'm trying to get my software running again. I've tried to install it a bunch of times, but each time I do it says I need to sign in to my Adobe account, and when I do it takes me to the terms agreement which I accept, and then it closes completely - when I open it again, it does the same thing, leaving me on and endless loop of succesfully signing in and then the software not working. I tried both "I have purchased" entering my serial number, and "I want to try", both with the same result. This morning I decided to give the offline activation a bash, which seemed to be going a lot better than the normal account sign in method - I can actually get the software open. But once I try do the actual offline activation, I enter in the request code and my serial, it says activation limit reached

Hello there!I'm just starting to learn the Adobe Suite in school and I've been watching some tutorials on their website. I tried to authorize my computer for Adobe Digital Editions, but I got an error message saying that I cannot use an ID that has already been used to authorize another device (I have previously authorized my laptop with this ID). The error message makes no sense to me since the whole point of authorization is to be able to read books on several devices.   When I try to open my Ebook without authorization, I get the E_LIC_ALREADY_FULFILLED_BY_ANOTHER_USER error so that is not an option either.   Can someone please help me solve this issue?   Thank you in advance!

Hello,I would like to bypass the Premiere Pro export mode in order to send my sequence directly to Media encoder. So I do File/export/send to media encoder.But, if I do that, I noticed that the PP export settings are put inside media encoder. I would like to have a full bypass (in media encoder I don't want to have the PP export settings). How to do that ?

Hello, does anyone know how to create this type of arrow?Thanks!
